I should have stopped at "there is no up selling". Are you kidding me? You go to your office for a cleaning. You are strong handed over: 1) Cancer screening $ 2) Deeper Cleaning $$$$ 3) Some other cleaning after you dont go for "Deeper Cleaning" $$ 4) Mouth Guard $$ 5) Cavity that is very questionable as to validity. $$ Then when you dont go for that, the doctor leaves, and much like buying a car when the manager comes to "talk to you" some *VERY* pushy guy comes to tries again. Also, if you DO find yourself not listening to my review, and you go there, they will make you sign the estimate under the guise that you are just "declining" it. BE SURE and write "DECLINED" all over the paper... DO NOT JUST SIGN IT!!!!! Those are facts. You can claim what you want. Heres an additional untruth that I was told when I was there that I since confirmed to be untrue. A dentist does NOT have to do X-Rays as often as this doctors office said. The patient will need to sign a waiver, but the doctor can not force you to have an X-Ray if you do not want one. Seriously, there are many dentists in SE Florida. Find another one. My poor wife now has to contact them for a copy of the X-Rays because she would rather not be X-Rayed again. My guess is that they will be horrible for her to have to deal with. AVOID these people at ALL costs!!! Dont fall for any of what they have to say or tell you. It is ALL nonsense. I was a patient of theirs and I have watched it go from a semi hard sell office to a total horrible experience. You can NOT get a cleaning in this office without being subject to multiple hard sells. Our dental plan (Delta Dental) allows for two cleanings a year. The doctor will tell you that you cant have that. You have to have the one more expensive one. Actually, FIRST she tries to get you for a "Deep Cleaning". Then when you tell her "NO", she tries for another less expensive one...but refuses to do a regular cleaning. After the doctor tries to sell you, they bring in some guy who tries even harder to sell you. I understand that it is a business but they make going to the dentist MISERABLE. AVOID THEM!!! Just stay away. As a note, it wasnt just me... but also my wife they did it too! Update 2-28-17: THEY ARE REFUSING TO GIVE MY WIFE HER MEDICAL RECORDS!!! We have now had to spend MORE time because we had to file with the Dept. of Health and Human Services for this violation. AVOID!!!

EDIT: As an explanation to the comment below by the practice - I used an alias for this review in order to avoid a possible confrontation, dispute, and/or further interaction with the practice. I have neither the time nor the desire to engage in any sort of follow up. My goal in writing this was not to unfairly antagonize anybody or create more hassle for myself, but only to help inform fellow patients by reporting my experience as it unfolded. I assure everybody reading this that my review is truthful. Here is my original review below. The office is clean and orderly, and the staff is friendly. The dentist in particular is very charming. However, the problem is that I suspect that this effusive charm is used in the art of persuasion to sell unnecessary and costly procedures. In a first instance, I was talked into to a cosmetic procedure that I really didnt need, but was OK with it. But in a second instance, I was recommended a fairly costly treatment plan that had me suspicious due to my event-free dental history. I was able to confirm that the costly treatment plan was absolutely, 100% not necessary by asking a dentist friend for her opinion. I went to see another dentist who agreed with me. To make things more disturbing, it was being sold as a very essential procedure that was critical to my dental health, as opposed to an possible route to consider. It was very disappointing, as I couldnt give the benefit of the doubt and convince myself that Township had my best interests in mind. It was essentially a money grab (my dentist friend concurred with this). You can see how happy the other patients are on this review board - I believe that this is in large part due to the very warm and customer-friendly experience and modern facility rather than due to a clinical experience that is on the up-and-up. The reason I am writing this review is to warn other patients who have no major dental problems and are looking for very basic service with no upsell. PS: I forgot to add earlier that in my last visit, my new dentist discovered a cavity that was not detected by Township a few short months earlier. When I asked how it could have been missed, she shrugged and said, "I dont know.". Its very difficult to judge these things...perhaps I need a 4th and 5th opinion...

Let me start by stating that my experience at Township Dental office was one of my best so far, to say the least, and here is why: Registration process – I scheduled my son’s first appointment over the phone and it took me less than a minute. Everything was verified and done efficiently without any hassle. Office – the place was clean and cozy. Staff – Everyone in the office were so friendly and courteous. My son (8 years old) went with the staff all by himself and for the first time ever, didn’t come back crying. My son used to go to a dental place in Boca and he was petrified every time I plan his dental visit. Dr. Sahi – I can’t say enough about Dr. Sahi as I won’t do her justice. I used to take my son to a dental office in Boca since he was 4 years old, and I always had a concern regarding the color of his teeth which his dentist in Boca repeatedly dismissed and claimed to be his natural color. I didn’t discuss any of this information with Dr. Sahi since at this point, based on the Boca dentist, I took it for a fact that there isn’t much to be done about it. Strange enough, Dr. Sahi, in the first visit itself, not only approached me about it, but corrected it, and went over a plan to maintain the cleanliness and color of my son’s teeth. Dr. Sahi was thorough, extremely skilled, and didn’t take any short cuts.

When it comes to dental care, Township Dental is the absolute best. Ive been going here since they first opened and the quality of their work has always been consistently exceptional. Dr. Sahi is so knowlegeable, friendly, and, to put it frankly, cool as heck. She and Dillain and the rest of her staff make you feel so comfortable; its as if youre just visiting family. Dr. Sahi cares so much about your dental health and it shows in her thorough and patient explanations. She is honest and reliable and has never deceived me or my family to generate more business. My family does not have insurance but Township Dental remains affordable, and the quality is amazing! I have gotten Invisalign through Dr. Sahi and I love my new smile! Ive been so insecure about my smile for years, and truth be told, I gave Dr. Sahi a pretty hard time with demands and requests because of that. She remained patient and understanding, while explaining her thought process as a professional. Dr. Sahi gave me the confidence I needed to smile genuinely without covering my mouth, and she did it without unnecessary procedures (that other orthodontists recommended so they can get more business). I am so thankful to her and her whole staff and cannot recommend her enough!
