Dr. Silberg is impressive on a number of levels, so its hard to know where to start. One of the first things that became apparent is his energy level. When I met him decades ago, he was racing through the offices so fast the air around him was crackling. He hasnt changed in that respect. One senses that tomorrow cant come fast enough for him, so that he can learn of any new products, materials, or procedures in his field. Hes always out there on the leading edge, completely up to date. This guy is tireless! Hes also brilliant, which I could tell from the start. He looked like a kid when we started working together--but a terribly impressive kid! So Ive always had complete confidence when he has told me this treatment is necessary or that treatment would be best. I know Im getting the best advice, along with the best--craftsmanship(?). Not sure what word to use here, but Ive never sat in his chair sensing that he is waffling over any decisions about my care. Decisive--Id say that describes Dr. Silberg. At the same time, I feel sure that the people working for him are very competent, because he wouldnt have them working there if they werent. The office runs like a well-oiled machine. A *happy* well-oiled machine! If there is any discord going on in that office (and what office is exempt from this?), I have not been aware of it. They say that Rome wasnt built in a day, and I say thats only because they didnt have Dr. Silberg to whip the troops to perfection. As others have noted, Dr. Silberg is also a very caring person. He explains everything, follows up after surgery, and the patient has a feeling of confidence that all aspects of treatment have been covered. While he is segacious, dynamic, and forward looking, he is able to sit down, focus on the present, and thoroughly explain the treatment plan to the patient. I took several years before I managed to reach Dr. Silberg office. I had many experiences, from mediocre to bad, with a number of dentists and oral surgeons in the Pittsburgh area. In particular I had an implant, from a previous surgeon, that failed miserably within 2 1/2 years . . . But, eventually, I lucked out and managed to be directed into the care of Dr. Silberg and his staff. WOW! What a difference! Great facility, the most cheerful dental office Ive ever been in. Every single person in his staff knows me personally. Every time I had a surgery, I always got a phone call and, later, a card to reassure me that things went smoothly, even if everybody could see that I was terrified by the complicated procedure Dr. Silberg was going to perform on me. When I first met Dr. Silberg he gave me an exhaustive explanation of what went wrong with my previous implant, and he talked me through what was possible to do in my (kind of) complicated case. Besides being a great surgeon, he is also very knowledgeable of important advances in his field. He showed me a number of research papers in dental journals, that he keeps handy in his office. As a statistician, I was very impressed by this, and by his thoughtful comments about the relative efficency of possible procedures (with data available!) for my upcoming surgery. In short, I have been so pleased with The Silberg Center For Dental Science, that I am telling all people I know that this is THE place to go in case of dental implants.

I had a somewhat complicated situation involving resorption of two adjacent upper front teeth, genetically thin bone & tissue, and a smile line that often shows my gums. It was quite a journey coordinating with my dentist, orthodontist, and Dr. Silbergs team that included two extractions, tissue augmentation, and an implant post. I am deeply grateful for the pragmatism, high standards, cutting-edge expertise, technology, decades of experience, and attention to detail that The Silberg Center for Dental Science offers. Dr. Silberg and his staff, especially including Pam, Tina, Terri, Lissette, & Anthony were all a grounding presence that carried me through an intense journey that has had a majorly happy ending. I am tearing up writing this as I remember how caring & attentive the staff was during my procedures. Its been over a year since my implant was placed and I think these recent pictures speak louder than words ever could. My smile is confident again and I feel beautiful. My restoration is in full view in all of these photos, and I suspect most, if not all people would never be able to tell which teeth they are. Choose The Silberg Center for Dental Science. I cant begin to say enough about the excellent care I have received from Dr. Silberg and his staff. If you are looking for the best in the business to deal with complex issues like gum grafting, implants, etc, then look no further. This practice came highly recommended to me and after years of being a patient i can personally attest to and affirm the rave reviews. Due to genetics and such, i have had severe gum recession and have also needed implants. While this is not fun stuff to deal with, Dr. Silberg and his team do their best to get you through it in the best way possible. Every person who works there excels in their field. From Dr. Silberg and his superb technical skils, superior intellect, and great sense of humor, to Terry at the front desk who is so friendly, efficeint, and will do whatever she can to get you onto the busy schedule, to Pam the assistant who demonstrates such warmth, care and compassion, etc. etc. this is just the tip of the iceberg. The practice is run so well in every aspect. There is a reason Dr. Silberg and his team faciliate continuing education for the other practicioners in the area, they are the cream of the crop.

I was referred to Dr. Silberg and his staff after I suffered a severe hockey injury and lost 2.5 of my front teeth. I needed a complete rebuild of my gums and teeth. From the first time I met Dr. Silberg, I knew he was going to take care of me and do what he felt would be in my best interest. We sat and talked about the different options I could choose, the pros and cons of each option, and what I could expect in the future. Ultimately we decided on implants to go along with the use of stem cells to rebuild the bone in my gumline. In the end, after two procedures and countless checkups, I finally have my smile back. I could not be happier with the work that Dr. Silberg and his staff performed. Each step in the process was explained thoroughly and executed as planned. Dr. Silberg and his staff were all very caring and helpful. I live in Springfield, Ohio, but grew up in Pittsburgh. During my freshman year in College, I got into an incident and broke my front tooth. Now that I graduated from college , I have decided to get my tooth fixed. Every dentist I saw said I would need an implant do to the caliber of the break. My mother had been to Dr. Silberg for gum replace surgery, and was highly impressed. With my fear of dental work and also the fear of improper implant placement, I decided to go with Dr. Silberg for the procedure. The implant procedure has taken longer then I expected, however I am very ecstatic with the results. Dr. Silbergs attention to the details has insured that my tooth with look natural, and I wont ever have to come back. In addition to Dr. Silbergs fabulous work, his staff has been amazing with scheduling and working with me since my drive in 3 1/2 hours one way. I would recommend Dr. Silberg and his staff to anyone who is interested in dental implants. His knowledge, experience, and skill is worth the drive every 3 weeks!
