they threaten the use of force if i did not strip naked for them i was abused mental and denied a lawyer this place is horribly and should be shut down. i cant believe this is legal to detain someone against his or her will when they are not displaying any reason to do so. they have made my situation worst they did not help me in anyway they held me against my will now i have PTSD i fear the police that denied me water and held me in a car that was hot, i was in pain and they did not care how did this help me i ask in what way! i was released after talking to a doctor duh! i should never have been put in the place i was drunk and allegedly made comments i dont even remember making. when i was detained i was as polite and followed all directions this is a abuse of power by the PD and i demand reform of the baker act why is a doctor not in the filed to talk to a person before they put them behind bars, taking someones freedom is horrible i was told its not criminal so how can they do this now im in pain mentally they did not help the situation only made it worst now i have anger towards them smh!

Staff pushes beliefs as well as chastising the ones that dont "comply". They are not helpful, but scolding, crass and impatient.They immediately treat you as a malicious being upon entry. They prescribe meds that you will not be able to afford and they might as well say no books because they only allowed bibles. There is no public tv, rooms are uncomfortable and all around dirty. You do not have free use of the bathrooms. I see a place of uneducated, extremely ignorant staff and doctors. The word to describe my experience is inhumane. Do not go here! Do not trust these people and their corrupt pratice. Might I add that they are racist and have no respect for dietary needs. Places like this are why people with mental issues do not feel safe or worthy of care. I can only imagine how many suicides they are responsible for.

When calling to check any information it didnt matter if it was directions or them calling me to let me know when to pick up when he/she was released...never ever in my life (and Ive worked in customer service my whole life ) have I ever endured such absoulute rudeness ever!!
