Obsolutely rude and obnoxious staff. I went in for my first appointment, and a full body check was done for skin cancer. Dr. Badia found one mole and sent it to an outside company for a biopsy. After the results came back, they refused to give me the results over the phone so I would have to pay more money. When looking at the wound from removing the mole, Dr. Badia found two more moles on my body that looked suspicious. She removed them and sent them in for two biopsies. Seeing as I have decent health insurance for Florida standards, the next part is really interesting...I received a bill for $800 from Florida Skin Center and a few months later a bill from the biopsy company whom I never dealt with before. Obviously furious since I work hard for my money, I called and gave them a piece of my mind. My insurance paid for most of the expenses, but the fact that they never inquired with my insurance baffles me. Then they got into a shouting match with me on the phone. As I said, worst place Ive ever been to. Stay away.

My husband was treated there a few years ago. They were so nice friendly and took time to explain things fully. Dr found many pré cancers on my husband all were treated immediately and it was throughly done. No reoccurring issues at all. Im planning on going now after a bad experience with a different dermatologist in our area, the only one my health plan had on their list, not related to this facility. I meant to go myself years ago after my husbands great experience. I will update this after my turn. I have SEVERAL issues that another place couldnt fix even after a huge biopsy was done! Just said no cancer.. not hole to get a sore to heal, its been on me several years!!! I will let you know if they help me out too!!!

The staff was completely rude. I was told there would not be an office charge for a follow up visit (to make sure they properly removed a spot on my leg - which they didnt) and I received a bill in the mail for a $100 office visit! I called to talk to the billing manager about it and she was completely rude, did not want to listen to me at all, would cut me off when I was calmly explaining then raised her voice at me. I asked to talk to the manager but SHE WAS the manager! I cut my losses and went and got the spot removed somewhere else, something my new dermatologist was able to remove in 1 session using a different technique vs. 2 sessions at Florida Skin Center that didnt remove it at all! Dont go here!

Great experience at this office. Went in for a rash and they offered to check my skin all over. During that exam, Dr. Badia found a spot that she thought needed to be removed, and it ended up being a skin cancer. I was so surprised, Im not sure how long it would have been there if they hadnt offered to check my skin. They were able to take care of everything in the office. Friendly and helpful staff, very clean office. I did get a bill, but this was expected since I have a deductible and the staff explained my benefits on the first visit. Would recommend and take it from me, when they offer an all over check, do it!

Florida Skin Center is a wonderful dermatologist office. Their staff is always attentive and really cares about your concerns. I have been coming here for almost five years, at least four times a year, and I have always had a positive experience. Their office is very clean and comfortable, and they are always flexible with scheduling. I even had a minor medical emergency (for another ailment) and had to cancel my appointment at the last minute. They were understanding and didnt charge me a co-pay for the missed appointment. I highly recommend this office!

Friendly and knowledgable staff! It is obvious they train their staff on customer service. The doctor was very comforting to me and my child (also a patient). My sons condition, which was persistent even with treatment from a different doctor, was resolved after just a few days on the correct prescriptions. I send all my family and friends and know they will have a great experience.

During a routine biopsy, I had an allergic reaction to Lidocaine, which caused me to pass-out. No antidote was given, no blood pressure or heart monitoring was done. Luckily my emergency contact is a nurse, who induced vomiting & advised follow-up for heart assessment. Office didnt even call that evening to see how I was, but did make sure I paid my co-pay before leaving!

Rushed through the appointments and pushed medicines. No answer when asked to help figure out underlying cause of skin issues. Was given pills that I have known allergy to, when I told the doctor it was brushed off. The treatment is pills pills pills. Not interested. Id recommend seeking skin care elsewhere.

Great staff!! The PA makes sure you feel comfortable with any procedures being done. Needed 2 moles biopsies done and was accomodated to do them same day. Shirisha made sure I didnt have any pain and explained everything as she was doing it. LOVE this office. :)

They over book their patients. When I had to start parking in the empty lot two doors down, I decided it was time to find another doctor. Dr Badia would be in the room with me for a minute and a half. Clearly they only care about money and not patient care!

Had a great experience at the Cape Coral office. I saw the PA, Brandie and she was very friendly. Her assistant gave me lots of samples. The building was new, clean and modern. I will see the doctor on my next visit. I would recommend to others.
