Got a stray cat and wanted to clean the teeth, shots, and maybe a couple extractions. I simply wanted a rough price of what to expect. No way. The receptionist clearly refused to talk any prices without exam. I have to pay 30-50 dollars just to find out how much more I have to pay?? I like my cat, but I like my money also. I strongly dislike anyone using my emotions to squeeze my wallet. Doctors, dentist, and vets all act like money should not be a consideration. If money is not a factor for them, then why not just do the treatment for free. It seems a one way point of view.

Response to Mr. Rivers and his cat situation a year ago: There was an employee for several years (who is no longer working there) who was extremely sour and difficult to work with. If you dealt with that person, Im sure you had a less than positive experience. I have no financial nor personal stake in encouraging you to give Acacia another chance. Dr. Finch is the best vet weve ever had in 40 years of owning animals. His staff is kind and positive and caring. His fees are more than reasonable for all services weve needed...exams, surgeries, teeth ckeaning, etc.

I was happy for my first two visist but on my last one the doctor tried to push Beneful dog food, insisting is the best and bla bla... even after I told him they eat same healthy foods I eat plus I buy organic wholesome dry food for them which I know is way better and healthier than the Beneful he was promoting for his profits... he still insisted.. its just me... but when an individual in charge of the health of my loved ones becomes more comercial than compassionate is a definite NO!

We absolutely LOVE Dr. Finch and we miss him so much now that weve moved out of state. Dr. Finch had been caring for our oldest cat who is about 13 years old now since he was just a kitten. We also took our little girl cat to him as well. Dr. Finch is so patient and caring with our cats and always provided sound advice for how to treat them or take care of them. We have had trouble finding a vet in our new home town that compares to the compassion of Dr. Finch.

Doctor and Staff are excellent. They care very much for the animals they treat. Prices for services are very reasonable. Overall my experiences with taking both of my small dogs to Acacia in Fort Pierce were very good.
