Signature Healthcare Of Brookwood Gardens located in Homestead,Florida Ill rated 0*. Not counting the Staff of Physical Therapy! Before I type anything about what its very important, Ill take a time to thank Mr. Santos Rodriguez for been so professional. Also the rest of Physical Therapy Staff. I do understand that this facility is not part of a continuing care retirement community. However, no one let you know when the patient gets there. My mom was transferred to this place,after been at the hospital due to a fall that caused her brain damage. And this is when our worst nightmare started! First of all,Staff doesnt have courtesy, I will never forget when one day I went to the nurse station and asked for a medication my mother needed (if I didnt ask for it,she would not get it!) And one of the nurse told a CNA to please get it and when the CNA turned around,she rolled her eyes!! A CNA named Kimberly. Medication not on time, I remember when I was told that they "dont have" an exact schedule for meds. Another issue, CNA was never on time to change my moms diaper. Bathroom from room was dirty. I guess no one took the time to read my moms chart,since they didnt know anything about her needs! This place should be close!! They have no professionalism! Im so sad for those who are still there! Im so thankful my mom is OUT now and receiving excellent care! Im also thankful that I was able to take care of her and WATCH over her day and night! One more thing, SO THANKFUL I didnt get to beat somebody!! The To those who have family here,PLEASE withdrawal them from this crazy place,and whoever is planning to take a loved one, if you really love them,DONT DO IT! P.S And if I decide to type the rest of my complaints,I wouldnt finish!

I took from my school time to go to Florida and visit my grandmother and after all, Im glad I did. I noticed that the place she was in ( SHC Of Brookwood Gardens ) were not taking good care of her. In my opinion, it is only right that if my family paid for someone to take good care of my grandmother that they do it right ! All along I thought my grandmother was being supervised correctly and taking good care of , but they wouldnt even change her diaper on time. Rashes around her thigh do to having her diaper on when it was time to change it.. The bathroom is supposed to be sanitized correctly , she is supposed to feel comfortable where she is at.. I am highly disappointed in the way this place is treating my grandmother and its time for a change.. If my family werent there the times that they were , things would of been worse ! So if you are thinking about leaving a family member in this place, please think twice because they do not do their job the correct way !

Horrible. My mother in law stayed 2 days here. She had an accident while visiting family. It took two days to try and figure out how to get her out of Florida and bring her home. But not only was the staff rude, but my mother in law was treated poorly. For dinner one day she recieved a mustard sandwich and two onion rings. When pressed for an explanation, we were told it was a balanced meal, mustard is good for your bones and theres a vegetable on the plate.

I give this place no star. Dont trust this place. I placed my mom there and they promised so much. That they would care for her like there own.. Nothing but lies!!! Im not one to bash a place but what I have endured I wouldnt wish it on anyone. Please if you love your love one. Dont place them here!!!

THE worst place to work for and send your family to dont do it the nurses are rude so is the administrator and DON worst place ever youve been warned. DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY TO THIS PLACE
