This place should be shut down , there are 113 cats and 23 dogs in the hospital treatment areas , the o.r is used to house nursing litters and kittens of various ages . When surgeries are done they are done at a sink in the treatment area with all the animals around NOT ACCEPTABLE theres constantly feces and urine on medications , on equipment it takes well over an hour in the morning to clean the reception and front entrance area of the hospital cats are allowed to roam over night in that section . Theres urine destruction of walls ,desks chairs ,phones clients files . If your ever there after 4:30 youll see the staff covering everything with bags , those bags in the morning are soaked in urine , medications and flea treatments are urinated on knocked on to the floor as are fecal and blood samples . Sometimes results are given in accurately because cats have knocked them on the floor they are lost or broken and you cant tell the client you need another blood draw . The treatment area or hospital where animals are cared for when left during the day or over night , is filthy again with well over a hundred animals roaming freely in this area how could it not be . Everything including test equipment, has built up dust and cat hair and urine . The Doctor keeps hundreds of test results and client files in the back that fall all over and are chewed , peed on and lost. Everyone who has ever done a working interview there is totally shocked and disgusted by the conditions of the place . This is a hoarding situation , when someone quits they call a meeting and clean up incase the state is called . The Doctor and manager Samantha know this is an issue they choose not to fix , they are opening another business next door and rest assured the Doctor will use this to hoard more animals , its rare that she adopt any animal out once she names it which is why there are just so many still there . The boarding facility is dirty and is run by a lady named Pam who is lazy animals are aloud in who have communicable diseases and parasites exposing everyones animals housed there . She lies blatantly to clients that she plays with and interacts with the animals in the kennels care . WARNING this place else is not what it claims to be.

We were going away on vacation and needed to board our 3 medium sized dogs. When we called sit stay play they said to call CAH. So we did, we told them we wanted them to play during the day at sit stay play. They agreed and gave us the rate. When I called to make sure our reservations were all set for the next morning drop off "betty" answered the phone then hung up on me as I was talking. So we figure it was just a misunderstanding and decided to drop them off as weve read good reviews about this place. When we get there we had to wait in the waiting room for 45 minutes with 3 dogs while tons of other dogs were coming in not to mention the 9 cats around the office. On top of that they were not signed up for sit stay play and we were told they would be in a crate all day in the back and let out for a few minutes at a time for the bathroom. We had to ask them to make room for all 3 to be boarded together as theyre all glued to each other at home. I called 2 times in the 5 days they were boarded to check on them. Both times I was told they were doing good except 2 of the 3 refused to touch their food. When we went to pick them up we noticed the odor of the office had not changed as we thought when we dropped them off it was a fluke. I was also given back no food. If 2 of the 3 were not eating how did I not get food back? Everyone except betty who we had another issue with was super friendly but we wont be returning for boarding. Our dogs were frantic when we picked them up, we immediately brought them outside to go to the bathroom. They had to go so bad they couldnt make it a cross the parking lot and their tongues were so dry we knew they were dehydrated. The only positive in all of this was whomever the groomer is did an amazing job. They all smell great and are not shedding too badly as they usually are after a bath. If you have small dogs or cats I think this would be great for boarding I just dont think the staff in the back know how to handle 2 huskies and a bull dog.

Honestly, if I could write a review and not give any stars I would. This place is absolutely DISGUSTING! I went out of town last minute for 2 days and unfortunately could not take my dog so I brought her here to board and I will never go back. Nor would I recommend this place to anyone!!! Please, if you care at all about your pet please dont do this to them!! The smell inside the facility is unbearable, I literally had to stand there with my hand over my nose as I waited to be helped. The smell of Cat urine is so sickening it took everything I had not to walk out. Dont get me wrong I am all for taking in animals who are homeless and need food and medical attention! by all means I praise anyone who can help but the way the facility allows the cats to Roam in and Out, bringing in God knows what is gross, and quite frankly unsanitary. There was the sweetest little old lady sitting beside me who literally turned to me and said why does it smell like that in here?!? I paid 22 dollars extra a day to have my dog go over to Day care at Sit-Stay-Play to make sure she was in there as little as possible. Then when I picked her up her behind was beet red!! Im really not sure why or what from she was only there for 2 nights but it was almost inflamed. Unfortunately I didnt notice this until I got home , but its not like I would have put her back in the hands of anyone there. Lastly the worst part well aside from the smell, was the staff! These women were so rude! Especially filling out her paper work at the front desk. You would think, and maybe this is just me but someone working around animals and in an environment where some sort of hospitality is expected you might find some. Well unfortunately not. Now there are no telling how many reviews have been posted to help make this place look good, but I could not be more honest when I say, simply just steer clear...

I have been taking my animals to Dr. McCashion for over 10 years and would never take them anywhere else and I drive over a 1/2 hour to being them to her passing many animal hospital I would never go to. Dr. McCashion and Companion animal hospital are AMAZING in every way and the facility is very clean. I will never forget the 1st time I brought my Chow Chow to see her. The 1st thing she did was get on the floor with him, so she could be on his level. From that point on I knew she was the vet for me. I had been to many vets that wouldnt even come in the room with him with out a muzzle because he was a chow even though he wasnt aggressive. She goes out of her way for each and every animal that comes into her hospital and I agree with so many others who have wrote reviews She is a devoted animal lover and veterinarian, who goes above and beyond to help all animals in need. She takes in the animals that no one wanted and care from herself. But besides taking great care of animals left at her door step I have seen it 1st hand with my own animals just recently with my cat that Iove so much. He is very old and got very sick she gave him the BEST CARE AN OWNER COULD ASK FOR. She cared for him like her own staying all night to make sure he got meds every two hours, working christmas day and night so that he could be watched. I could go on of all the great thing this Dr. and her staff do at Companion. I just want anyone reading this to know if you want great care and a vet thats not going to rip you off then this isthe place for you. Thank-you Companion for caring for all my babies. :-)
