I strongly advise against this Visionworks location and if the way I was treated at this facility is representative of how other Visionworks places operate, I would advise staying away from this brand altogether. I called this facility and advised them that I would be late, I told them I apologize and that I didnt want to get into trouble for being late... whoever the male representative was that answered the phone told me not too worry, that they have spanking available and that they can take care of troublemakers... I was shocked. Absolutely shocked that he would say such a thing. I then went into the office where this man called me honey, sweetie, darling, all of these inappropriate terms. Had my husband been there, he would have been taken to task, but I did not want to make a scene. I would not advise single unaccompanied women to go in here alone if you dont want to be harassed by an entirely inappropriate man who has no right to speak to people this way, I say dont send your daughters here. I then began working with the female tech that was very polite, but I must concur with other reviewers here that have stated that you are forced into procedures that you do not need. They tell you you must pay an additional $29 for some photographic of the eye test or you must get a dilation of the eyes. The male clerk told me he would strongly suggest I go for the $29 test because he "would not want to go through" the alternative. (Him having upset me earlier, I didnt know what he was suggesting.) I still today dont know what that alternative is because I asked them to ask the doctor if it was mandatory. She said it was not medically necessary and told me I did not have to get it... So they tell people you must pay for it.. unless you protest... then they try to scare you... and then you must ask the doctor to overrule this test. Horrific. This doctor had no idea what I had gone through with this clerk up front, and then they told me about these so called "fitting fees." They said my exam was covered.. when I asked if If i just get the same fit as last year.. if I still had to pay the fitting fee... then they changed the name of the "fee." Then they called it a medical evaluation of the eye. I asked them: you just told me my exam was paid for... now there is another medical evaluation I have to pay for? They said yes. They were entirely inconsistent, and very very rude to me. I told them that I did not agree with this fee but that I would sign the paper under protest and take it up with my insurance company. The female clerk was very nice and she accepted my signature and said they would be back to take care of me. The doctor then came in and started arguing with me. I told her, Im fine, Ill take it up with my insurance company, no problem, I said, I had already signed the paperwork and that the young girl had it. Then I waited patiently in the chair for a while. After waiting in excess of 5 minutes, I then went into the hallway and I overheard the doctor speaking to someone on the phone.. describing me as disruptive, and causing a scene... (as I sit in the room and wait to be seen?) I heard that doctor saying that I was uncooperative and the doctor was asking for permission NOT to service me. When the doctor came out of the office, I told her, I had overheard her entire conversation and that she had completely manufactured the situation she described to whoever was on the phone, that she was in fact being inappropriate, and I left. I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST USING THIS LOCATION, THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK IS INAPPROPRIATE AND THE DOCTOR IS A LIAR. I was not causing a scene, I was not being disruptive, I was only questioning these inappropriate fees that I said I would take up with my insurance company. For that... they refused to service me. Go across the street to Vision Express.. they took me immediately, did not demand that I take any tests, were entirely accommodating and explained everything very well. Visionworks.. is not recommended.

If you value your time, eyes, and money, you should go someplace else. They have the worst customer service. My wife went here for an eye exam in April and they told her she had 6 months to come back for a contact lens exam. Its now August, I tried to schedule her an appointment they told me that she only had 30 days to come back so now they need to charge us out of pocket costs for another eye exam on top of a contact lens exam even though I have VSP High option insurance. I will never go here again. If I could give give this place less than a 1 star rating I would

This is the worst place I have ever been to. Theyre all rude, EXCEPT the general manager, Jayson. The doctors told me that I shouldnt wear makeup, EVER. Im a makeup artist!! Ive worn makeup for 13 years and contacts for 9. Never had a problem. Also, one of the receptionists is the worst. She is rude and condescending. Talks to me like I am a child and speaks in circles. I will never be going here again. I was never mean nor was I rude. I work in customer service and I know how frustrating it is when people are rude. They asked for it.

Wonderful experience - The Dr. was fantastic with our grandsons and I have never been able to see better in my life. Our experience with the staff was awesome! Couldnt have been more helpful as I was trying eyeglasses that I was unfamiliar with. They even sent our 15 year old grandson to different facility for frames as he wanted a specific frame which they didnt have at the time. The Dr. was very kind and helpful with kids who have never been for eye exams. Wouldnt go anywhere else.

Jason and William are amazing with kids. I do wish they had longer evening hours because everytime Ive had to run over there after school or work. But it makes it worth it when these guys are so awesome!
