This is a really sad situation. The Dr here is amazing, professional, courteous, kind, pleasant, and everything you could want in an Eye Dr and then some. Unfortunately, shes got this really nasty skin problem called: HER STAFF!!! The moment you leave the Doctors presence the experience becomes painful. The number one problem is Sherry(Sales) and that you will be billed for additional things that are not mentioned and for somethings that are. I felt like I was at a used car lot and the salesmen was trying to sell me the gap insurance. I was told that the Dr said I NEEDED transition lenses. Not that she suggested..not that she recommended them.. I NEEDED them. oh and that she wrote me a "prescription" for them. Funny thing is the DR never mentioned it to me. Ever. But, why would she since it is just a built in pair of sunglasses? I do not need $300 sunglasses, Ive already got a $20 pair and it is obvious that she is just trying to make money on me. I told her I did not want or need that and not to add it to my new glasses. Fair enough, it was not added but what was added and was not discussed was a $50 charge for premium lenses. I do not mind someone trying to sell me something, I am in sales, I know the game but when you have to lie, cheat and outright steal to get the sale then its not a sale. Its a crime. The worst part about this is that there are people in that office all of the time that speak little or no English and I can imagine it would be hard to get a fair deal if you cannot understand what she is pushing on you. And its not really a push but more like someone backing a dump truck up to your front door, knocking and then emptying it on you when you answer. Also, she apparently has a hard time understanding insurance coverage as a week after I left the office, I got a call saying that something was not covered. This is where I discovered I was being robbed. Then when I questioned the charges, she did not have any explanation except "I dont remember". Did she just plead the 5th? I probably would have said yes if she just offered and explained what they were. Also, she had a tough time explaining her own billing and when she did not understand it, she just repeated exactly what it said on the statement like she understood it and but she really didnt. And when asked what a charge was for, trying to get a better explanation she employed the same technique of repeating exactly what it said on the bill. Am I still talking about Sherry? Yes I am. The remaining staff are not as vile but, still pretty incompetent. One tip I have for them is: You Idiots. Your customers sitting 2 feet from the phone can hear everything your saying and doing to the caller. People will call and ask questions and be put on hold. Then, the receptionist will not do anything except wait a few minutes and then go back to the caller and tell them their order hasnt arrived. I know now that when I call and get put on hold that you are doing the same thing to me. I will never ever go back to this location and its sad because I really like the Dr.

If you are looking for an office where you can just ask for what you want get it in 5 minutes and leave.....this is not the place. This is not a fast food restaurant(even there the food isnt quick), although you will "Have it your way!" The doctor, Dr. Lauretta Justin, is the best optometrist in Florida! Thats right I said Florida as in the whole STATE!! When it comes down to specific details of all the medical terms, certain conditions, and whatever other optical information you need, shes got it covered. On top of that if you are like me and do not understand all of that medical confusion that they call "terms" she will explain it to you so you can understand. Now the office, superb! They have just recently expanded so if you havent gone you should it is remarkable! There is enough space for you to look at all of their fantastic eyewear selections and to comfortably sit. The staff is loyal and now a days it is hard to find loyalty in the workplace. These loyal employees strive each and every day to make your visit the best visit to the eye doctor that youve ever had. Their loyalty exudes great customer service not only cause they want Millennium Eye Center to be your final optical destination, but most importantly to make you happy and satisfied. Everytime I go to Millennium Eye Center I know I received the best customer service, the best optical care, and the best eyewear that any optical center in FLORIDA could provide! I love Millennium Eye Center and if you havent been ther or taken your family there then you just dont care about your eyes or your families eyes!! POINT BLANK PERIOD.

Not a good experience. I called and was told I could come right in for an appointment. They were 40 minutes behind. Not sure why I would be told I could come in. The contacts given were the wrong prescription and refused to order contacts in the right prescription without me ordering boxes of them.. I want to make sure they work why would I order boxes? Save your time and go a place that inst overpriced. They count on you not having insurance and you paying 200.00+ for glasses. I agree with the other one star.. I never actually speak to the doctor when I have called for a copy of my prescription, to find out if they can get the contacts in the right prescription, its always the staff that says they will call back and never do or just say no right off the bat. Every member of the staff I dealt with was awful.

The doctor is very pleasant, nice environment. My only issue with this eye care center is I went there for 2 years in a row, 2 eye prescriptions since I try to go once a year. Each time when I received my glasses, I couldnt see clearly. When I told me about it they said my eyes have to adjust to the new prescription. They never adjusted. :( My prescription just wasnt right... The 2nd year when this happened I went immediately to another place and got new glasses and when those came in I could see clear immediately. I put the millennium glasses back on (not clear) and then the glasses from Wal-Mart and I could see clear. I still dont understand why they told me that and why they couldnt get my prescription right 2 years in a row. :(

I stopped by there today to finally fill my prescription for glasses. For some reason I had issues with my insurance company and I kept in contacy with the front desk young lady Christy, who I must say is just wonderful and funny. She took on my issue as if it was her own. Within a couple days I was able to get things rectified because of it. There was another one vanessa i believe. She was very nice too.... i was surprised to see that there are actually people still in this world with exceptional customer service skills. I have now decided to take my next exam here too. If the doctors employees are this way i cant even imagine how great she would be. Keep up the good work ladies. Hats off to you.
