Dr De Leon is the best Internal Medicine/General Practitioner in the area which is why I switched to being a patient of his about 8 years ago. I called on him as a pharma rep from 2001-2006 and observed him in action as a practitioner, a father, a husband, an employer and a super busy doctor who had to meet with many reps in order to sign for our samples so that his patients can try our meds to see if they work for them before spending money on filling their prescription. I have always seen him in a great mood and consistently treat others, no matter who they are, with the utmost respect, kindness and concern for their well being.....this is why I had to become one of his patients. I also drive over 30 miles one way to get there. Although our health is OUR responsibility, part of this responsibility is choosing the best providers of healthcare that we can afford. Dr. De Leons high standard of care made my choice very easy. I am writing this because I recently came back from a trip on the West coast with an infection on my leg from a cut I got while hiking. Like most of us, especially us males, I did the quick rinse of cut & neosporin thing which did not work so infection set in. Wifey gave me the eye and the "you better go see your doctor lecture". So I called and his friendly staff were able to work me in the same day! He diagnosed the problem within seconds and gave me the necessary medicine to heal quickly. I was very happy because I also did not have to go to an immediate care center which costs more money and time! The nurse practitioners, Stephanie and Vicki have the same high quality of care that Dr. De Leon gives his patients.

I am a firm believer of things happen for a reason! Last year I was going to a Drs office where the staff was not friendly at all and I felt so out of place. My choice was to change and go to Dr DeLeons. Im so glad I did. The office staff there are great so friendly and caring. Sharma the PA is Awsome! Such a caring loving person. If a Drs visit could be made special this is the place to go. Sharma is who I see there. She is absolutely the Best!!! If your looking for a PA that truly listen and cares she is the one. Im so glad things worked out the way they did with the other Drs office because I was lead to the Best!!! Thank you so much Sharma and the staff at Dr Earnest DeLeons Practice.

I have been under Dr Deleon care since 1993. I am and for the most part I am always satisfied with my care. He listens, gives his opinion and together you agree on a treatment plan. I am stubborn and I need a Doctor who is knowledgeable, confident and willing to say no to me. His Nurse Practitioner Vickie Umstead was one of the first ARNP in Florida, she is caring, well educated and informed. I transitioned both my Son an daughter into his practice when they became young adult. Office staff is warm, friendly, caring and efficient.

Sharma Staten, ARNP is professional yet very personable. She is very thorough throughout an exam. She also pays attention to details and explains to you in laymans terms versus too much medical terminology. Love the entire "group" too! Very friendly & helpful staff whether you call in with a question or just checking in for an appointment! I am new to this office and have since established my husband and my mother as patients. I would definitely recommend giving them a chance. You folks ROCK!!!

Defamer, uncompassionate, unethical. With my debilitating disease, and other med issues, I shouldnt be defamed and profiled. I dont get it, he changes my meds, almost kills me with Fentanyl, I asked to go to PM to be taken off that horrible patch. He alters my records to fit his demoniacal reasons , Ive never seen anything like this. Disparaging! Nastiest and rudest little man, unempathetic...Im glad to see all these great reviews, I wish I could say and feel the same-

Sharon mangham....have been at this practice for many years...I see Victoria Umstead...I always get in quickly and have always been treated well by all staff. I am very comfortable with her and can easily talk to her,which I feel is very important in my care. I have on occasion saw Stephanie and liked her as well. This practice has given me nothing but great professional and personal care.Everyone from office staff,to the assistants and the Docs. Are personable and caring.

I had to wait several months before new patients were being accepted but it was well worth it! Sharma Staten is one of the best Medical Professionals that I have ever been treated by. She is real, not some super starched white coat that spends all of 5 or 10 minutes with you. She takes the time to listen, she converses with you genuinely expressing care and compassion. In todays medical world Sharma is a breath of fresh air!

I have had some serious issues and Vicki takes the time to listen to me. Then she does whats needed to make me feel better.
