Went in for my appointment in March 2011, The waiting room was empty and the staff was pleasant. When meeting with Dr. Climer I felt like I was in the 1960. He shook my hand and never sat down, hovered over me in a very small room. He asked me questions and had demeaning remarks to my answers. Example, Dr. asked why I only had one child, I told him about having the RH factor and the pregnancy was a ruff one. Dr told me that is no preseason to just have one child and for me not to blame it on the child. I wasn’t blaming anything on the child and he didn’t have any facts about the pregnancy other than the RH factor. I had a tubal ligation a year after having my baby at twenty two years old because the complications where that bad and the next pregnancy would be 22% chance of thing going really wrong quickly. I feel blessed to have the child I had twenty six years ago. There were other remarks as well , but you get the picture, he has strong opinions with little information and has a rude bedside manner.

Dr. Climer AND Phillips both delivered my daughter in May of 2009, just over a year ago. I thought the office could be in better shape, but whats really important is the quality of care. Overall, I found everyone to be kind and helpful. I did complain of pain on three visits each time being told it was pregnancy related, when in fact, an ultrasound reveiled gallstones. After discovering this issue, the pain was easily managed by Dr. Climer. The only "scare" that I had was in regards to my tubal. I had to tell the doctors and staff at least 3 times that I wanted this done following my C-Section. On the day I delivered, the proceedure was done; however, at my first follow up, Dr. Climer asked "what are you and your husband planning on doing to prevent pregnancy?" WHAT??? Didnt you do a tubal ligation on me??? He quickly referred to his chart, caught his error, and apologized. Disaster averted! Look at your chart first, please!! :)

It is a shame that only the people who have something negative to say write a review. I refer to the person that made a comment about the office. It was probably when they were in the process of expanding. Dr Climer is no longer in that office building. I found Dr. Climer to be very kind and informed.
