Never Again .. This review goes to one person in. Particular . My doctor was supposed to call me back 2 days ago to ask me about my unpleasant visit but no one cared to call . Im assuming she didnt even talk to the manager . On January 13,2016 I had my sonogram scheduled at OBGYN assoc St. Augustine Florida . I come in and wait for a few minutes since apparently they have lunch where patients are supposed to be seated as they walk in .. Anyways Im called to have my sonogram done ( by this rude and no personality whats so ever rude lady) Im talking to myself since Im already feeling uncomfortable to go in and get it done . She took me into the room and tells me to undress myself from my hips down but she still in the room ( awkward ) so I proceed to ask her do I have to undress myself in front of you ? Then she saids ( maam you know that you are having a vaginal sonogram Im not going to look ) so she doesnt leave the room stays in the room so i had to undress myself with her in the room . I was so embarrassed and I felt like my privacy of those 5 minutes I needed was taken from me . She was unprofessional , I will never go back again . Then while she is doing the sonogram there is no conversation another awkward moment ;5 more minutes and its finally over .. Then she saids there is some wipes somewhere in the office so You can wipe yourself ( never found the wipes ) since she was still in the room looking the other way ; I stepped down , thru away the cover on the bed because she couldnt even do that ,once she was done then took me to the other room so I can wait for my doctor . Im waiting on the doctor for a about 20 minutes while waiting on the Doctor Im looking and this office its super dirty everywhere I look there was dust / broken blinds / dirt / hair on the pillow , so Im asking myself how come a hospital office can be so dirty ? where they perform vaginal exams can be so dirty & disturbing. I have spoken to the Doctor which at the time I was so upset and I dont think she even care since no one cared to call be back to address the situation . I will never go back & will not recommend this place to anyone . Very unhappy patient .

I loved using Dembek as my gyno (and one of the older nurses) but the OB aspect and all other human interaction there has been terrible. I was assigned a midwife and while she was nice, she was awful at ever giving a straight answer and very awkward during difficult situations. One of the nurses- Sharon- has either been rude, misinformed, wrong, or lazy every time Ive had to deal with her. There is another nurse there though that is phenomenal, I wish I could remember her name. On my last encounter with this office, My midwife called in a prescription for me but never told me how to take it and the receptionist that called me had no idea what she was doing and told me the pharmacist would tell me how to take it. Long story short, this receptionist (she has a Spanish sounding accent) ended up on my 2nd call, instead of getting a doctor or nurse, came up on her own how I should take the medicine, which ended up being completely wrong and caused me a lot of unnecessary pain. Avoid talking to this girl because she has no idea but tries to answer instead of getting someone who knows what they are doing. It is impossible to get your actual treating provider on the phone and the people they have handling the phone are clueless, which is a bad situation. My whole experience with them the last three months has not been positive. Im hoping to find someone else locally.

I wish I could give this practice a good review as I have had some positive experiences in the past. However, after dealing with the same recurring issue I will never be back again. I have called the office several times to make an appointment or to ask a question and it is very difficult to get someone on the phone. There have also been several times I was spoken to very rudely. I visited the office for an existing issue a few months ago. They called back a few days later with a prescription for me. After picking up my prescription, I had a specific question for my doctor. I called the office and was told she would call me back. I waited a week, and made another phone call. I was told a note would be left for the doctor to call me. I waited another several days and called again. (All this time having the same medical issue.) A nurse curtly informed me that my doctor was very aware that I had called back and could see it on her screen. She said she would let my doctor know again. Of course, I never received a call back. I think it should be said that I really loved my doctor. She was always friendly and made me feel very comfortable. But despite this, OBGYN Associates cannot seem to get their follow up together, or to get friendly people in their office. When dealing with medical issues this is simply unacceptable!

I just had the worst experience in the Saint Augustine office. I waited until 9:57 to be taken back for a 9:00 appointment. My husband asked twice why it was taking so long and was given no actual answer. I was not in the office for a pleasant visit to begin with so making us sit in a room with pregnant women and babies for so long was simply insensitive. The doctor did apologize and states she will talk to staff about putting people in rooms earlier. I was then taken for an ultrasound. This woman was so rude. Asking me what the problem was as if it was an inconvenience to her that I was there. The doctor then wanted to examine me quickly in that room so I would not have to undress twice and spend more time in the office. The ultrasound tech snapped that she had two people waiting and grudgingly allowed us the few minutes we needed. Finally at checkout I told the receptionist that the ultrasound tech was very rude and the woman did not reply or make eye contact, just let me leave. Horrible customer service and complete lack of empathy. I will not be returning and I suggest you dont either.

First visit, the time you wait is terrible, over an hour, then my wife and I went into the room. As we were waiting in the room, and looking around, you can see that the hygiene in the place is not good. Stains that could be blood, a used glove on the floor by the garbage, just grouse. We saw Eric Pulsfus, no doctor in my opinion. He was rude, lacked compassion and personal manors, and really did not answer our questions that we had and then gone. So with that said we did give them another chance, our mistake. We requested to see a midwife and not Eric Pulsfus. The wait was bad again, what is the point of an appointment? We saw Amy Loughlin and again not impressed. Although it was a different room it was still dirty and smelled unclean. Amy smiled more than Eric but again left quickly, said she would come back to answer a few more questions and never did, and gave us the impression that their patients are just cattle. So after that, we requested our records, walked out the door, and are now on a quest to find a smaller more compassionate practice.
