When I called to make my appointment, they were very nice and answered all my questions. They called and verified the appointment the day before for a reminder. My appointment was scheduled 2 weeks prior to my date to go in. I went in 20 minutes before my time to fill out necessary paper work. So I arrived at about 9:10 AM. The paper work only took maybe 5 minutes. So Im waiting...waiting...still waiting. Its now 10:15 AM, and a woman came out to get me to do my X-Ray of my mouth. That took only 5 minutes or so. She then brought me to a SECOND waiting room in the back. There I saw a few people that were in the FIRST waiting room before me. So, Im sitting in this room for some time and I finally asked this woman if she has even seen the dentist yet. She told me "No." Now, its 11:20 AM, going on 2 hours past my appointment time! Not entirely sure why this place makes appointments when they dont even take you at even a reasonable time frame! I found it unprofessional and pretty ridiculous that even if maybe they were short handed that why no one informed any one of what was going on. Why make an appointment when it doesnt matter? I made my appointment at a time because I eventually had OTHER things to do rather than sit in a dentist office for hours on end WITHOUT even seeing the dentist. I walked out... I couldnt have waited any longer. It was just not professional or courteous. I did not have dental insurance, I would have been paying out of pocket. I needed an extractio, this tooth had been causing me a lot of pain, and I told them that. Although I know they probably could not have pulled it that day, at least I would have been on track of having something done about this tooth. This place just wasted my time. Save your time and money and dont go to a chain dental office where there have ZERO interest or care about your time.

Review #2 Post Procedure – I have nothing but good things to say about Aspen Dental. My sister’s dentures look fantastic, the procedure went as well or better then Dr. Dickerson said it would. Dr. Dickerson is a great dentist and Rob technician made my sister a very natural set of dentures, her smile is beautiful now. Five stars for Aspen Dental – thank you. Review #1 - so far 5 stars. I am helping my sister (who does not have insurance) make a decision on dentures and I have done my homework so I knew what the cost of dentures with extractions was going to be before speaking with Aspen. I had planned on getting at least two opinions before deciding. After going to Aspen on Seminole Blvd in Largo (our first stop) I knew there was no reason to look any further. The entire office staff was very pleasant, and professional. Dr. Dickerson dentist/owner is very easy to talk to, patient, answered every question and is very confident. The office itself is very clean and modern. Ashley the office manager went above and beyond helping my sister with the finances. Next week my sister meets with their (on premise) technician who will create her new dentures, I have heard he is one of the best. Within a few days of meeting with the technician she will be getting her full set of uppers and lowers. From what we have experienced so far I am confident the procedure will go very well for her. So far fantastic job and they have given us no reason to look anywhere else. I’ll write a post procedure review as well!

Dr. Dickerson is unquestionably the finest dentist I have ever met. He is skilled and conscientious, and his character and integrity are outstanding. Gentle always, thoughtful and truly a loving people person. Every visit always leaves me with more than healthier teeth. I have complete trust in his judgment and always appreciate how thoroughly he explains the options I may have in any treatments and procedures I needed to get done since day one In all Aspen dental practices of Dr M. Dickerson locations in Pinellas county and surrounding areas that I have been to, along with all his staff create a wonderful atmosphere. very clean, very caring, I am at ease from the moment I walk into his office and have complete confidence in his ability. I have needed several procedures over the year including filling replacements and a multiple crowns, bridge work and an implant and in house bleaching, Dr. Dickerson and team always makes sure that I understand exactly what is happening and that I am comfortable at all times. Thanks to Dr. M Dickerson, I always receive amazing compliments about my smile, my father is extremely happy and grateful that I have found a great dental Practice in Flordia to continue to be a loyal patient as they are to me. I have excellent oral health and an amazing beautiful smile! I couldnt be more happier of making the decision of being his patient! Now I can relax. I am trusting you will get the best. I recommend him to anyone I possibly can! Thumbs up! Totally a 5 star from me!

The free checkup was good and very thorough, but it all went downhill from there. They suggested a gingivitis cleaning, and I did unquestionably have gingivitis, so I agreed. Their first quote was for $320, including a $160 electric toothbrush. I asked for the cleaning without the toothbrush and bought a toothbrush myself for $25 at the grocery store. They did not mention that there are actually two cleanings, the second of which costs more than $100 on top of the $160 I had already paid, and that the first bill included a bottle of $24 mouthwash. They also wanted me to pay another $24 for a particular toothpaste. I felt that there was a lot of pressure to pay for these extras. A couple of days after leaving the appointment without making a follow-up, I got an email thanking me for making another appointment. I did not make this second appointment; it was made without my consent, and emails to Aspen to try to resolve the matter have gone unanswered. The quality of the work was fine as far as I can tell, but I wouldnt recommend this office to anyone uninsured since they are not honest about costs.

If I could give zero stars I would. I went to this establishment about 2 years ago. They "fixed" a tooth that was not even in pain. I left and had excruciating pain in that tooth I went back and all they did was file it down. Still in pain I came back a week later. Again they filed it down. Again still in major pain I went back, they redid the cavity and nothing. Still hurt. I went back in again they said they couldnt find anything wrong it. While coming in the last time I overheard one of the girls saying I was making it all up and the dentist did not seemed pleased with me. I never went back. Im writing this review because TWO years later I still have pain in that tooth and can not eat on that side of my mouth. I havent went to another dentist because unfortunately I can not afford it. Avoid this place they will mess up your teeth and make you feel like youre wasting their time so much you will just decide to suffer in pain instead of going back.

Worst dental experience I have ever had! First visit, after a 30 minute prep, the tech didnt know how to use the whitening machine and I had to leave only to return the next day to be fitted for trays to do overnight whitening. Returned to have permanent cap installed and cap prep for second cap. I was worked on by an intern?!?!? and she cut my mouth was cut to shreds, and took impression after impression because she couldnt get it right. When she finally got the temporary cap done, she recreated the broken tooth shape. Then I was told, after the ugly misshapen, temporary cap was installed, I had to drive to the dental lab, an hour away to get custom shading because it is a front tooth. During the entire visit, the main dentist, Dr. Fabrega was rude, dismissive, and refused to listen to my concerns. When I got home, I had to file the temporary cap myself because he wouldnt listen to me.
