I took my cat there because he was hurt above his tail bone. They gave him unnecessary shots and procedures he did not need. The final bill was $206.00 total. They said he was constipated. I was shocked that they told me it was so much money. When I finally left there I had no choice but to pay for services rendered. I felt ripped off and embarrassed. My cat still in pain at his tail bone. They could of been honest and told me he just was constipated and didnt need to have all the medications they claimed to give him. Please, do not go there, unless you are rich and dont care about your finances. I make just barely enough money to support myself and my cat. How dare they just have absolutely no concern, in regards to their clients, that do not know what is wrong with their animal and take advantage of the situation. The vets name was Rachel Pratt. She looked me in the face and smiled as she ripped me off and did not do anything for my cat pertaining to the initial visit.

I was told that I can just stop paying at anytime and the service would be cancel. NOT ONLY DID IT NOT CANCEL BUT IT KEPT ADDING UP THE PAYMENTS. Then when I received a letter in the mail saying they were gonna send me to collections if i didnt pay i got in contact with them and they said that you can cancel any time but you have to pay for the whole year. So i ended paying for 7 months that i did not even use there service. Also we called just the regular petsmart and they told us that they thought you could cancel anytime or just stop paying and it would be cancel so clearly there is a misconnect here and needs to be fixed!

We will never allow Dr. West to provide care for our animals again. She acts as if she has no experience at all! She had our dog dying of liver cancer when what he actually had was garbage gut. She was really disorganized and unprofessional about this whole stressful situation. Now that we found out that Dr. Carlisle is no longer in charge at Banfield Largo and their acting Chief Vet is leaving them, we are highly concerned with the quality of care we expect from them will probably require us to move our animals elsewhere, even if that means taking legal action.

Their working hours Mon- Sat. -based on their website- is 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. I took my dog to the Largo Banfield hospital at 6:40 PM on a weekday. The receptionist told me :( since we will close at 7:00 PM, this visit is considered as an emergency so you should pay $90- honestly, I do not exactly remember how much she said but I remember it was around $90). My question is: Why they do not mention it clearly in their website? They can simply say we are open till 7:00 PM but if you come after 6:30 PM it will be considered as an emergency visit.

Use a local vet always. Its inside PetsMart which means ChaChing. They will charge you for any and every test they can imagine. My friend took his dog here for a skin irritation after a grooming. The final bill was almost $200. There were 3 seperate charges for shots and creams, plus they wanted to sell him a neck collar for almost $30 when they were $11.99 on the inside the same PetsMart. Your local vet would of gave you an antibiotic cream and a $50 exam charge. Use your local vet PLEASE.

Inexperienced kids who dont know what they are doing. Been going there for years and every time they say my dog is healthy. Found out she has mange and ear mites. Probably had it for years as she has been miserable for years. When we ask the tech they say we can run allergy tests for a couple hundred bucks. All about the money not the animals. They are the reason my dog has been miserable for the past 6 years and eventually be put down to end her suffering. Thanks alot Banfield.

Had a care plan and ended up going elsewhere anyhow to get proper diagnosis. Had several problems that were misdiagnosed. Absolutely TERRIBLE. I would not bring another one of my animals there, even for vaccinations. Also, their malpractice insurance company would not respond and I got no reimbursement from them. The best I managed was to get out of my contract, and even that required the aide of a lawyer.

DO NOT bring your pet here unless you like being ripped off! My dog has allergies and I was given a pill for him that works. Called for a refill and they said he had to come in for an exam in order to get it. That was false. My new vet said it can be refilled up to a year without and additional exam. They lie and they are just about the money!

Took 3 of my 4 dogs there for shots and general wellness care exams and the staff was excellent and knowledgeable about everything and pointed out problems with my pets that I hadnt even noticed!! Great with my dogs and the prices were cheaper than all the other vets I called in the area!! Will for sure continue to take my dogs there!!

Just left there after they cannot find my dog or my wifes name in their computer completely rude been taking our dog there for over a year and all of sudden they cant find any information or the paperwork or records will never go back and its such a shame for PetSmart 3/21/16

Im surprised at some of these reviews because I had an amazing experience here. They took care of every problem my dog had and were courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I signed up for their program and its a great deal to keep your pet healthy, so glad I did.

I take my Bella here and its great. Because shes high maintenance with skin allergies, I put her on one of the wellness plans and it has SAVED me so much money. AND shes received amazing care. The doctors and staff are polite and enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Really havent had a problem until a different vet with really poor communication skills with patients stepped in. Lost all confidence in Dr West after being told one thing and then told something else later. Just really disappointed.
