This review has nothing to do with the quality of medical care my dogs have received over the past 11 months. This has to do with customer service or the complete lack of it. There are 2 vets at this location and I wont name names however my contention is with the male vet. I will tell my experience and let the members of Google judge me or not. I bounced a $58 check to these guys. Yes, I did that, I own it, its a true story. I have in office in Clearwater and in Denver. And I have lots of money flowing in and out of my checking account, sometimes $10,000 to $15,000 a day. Over the last 11 months I spent almost $1,000 with these guys for the care of my 2 babies. One of my dogs had a hacking cough and I brought them in to have them looked at. I called ahead and spoke to the front staff and sent a video just to make sure it was something that needed to be checked. During these conversations no one had told me I had a check that hadnt been paid. They definitely suggested that I bring in my dog as it may have been heartworms. So I brought in my dog. The vet pulled me aside into a room and told me that i had bounced a check to them. He informed me that they had had made 2 calls to me (the second call was made the day before i walked in). It turns out they had called my Denver number and not my Tampa number. And the good doctor proceeded to chastise me as if I am some kind of petulant child. He even said and I quote "I dont even know what a bounced check is". Now, I believe incidents like this can be opportunities to make clients for life. If the conversation had gone like "Sir, it looks like theres a problem and one of your checks didnt clear. Its only $58. Just go up to the front and take care of it and Ill be happy to see your dog." If this had been delivered with some tact and a smile, I would still be a loyal customer. But instead, the good doctor chose to let his ego get the best of him and ruin an income stream, sow ill will into the community and get 1 star. So there you have it. You make the call my fellow Googleers.

Pinellas County area this has been the the vet that Ive gone to for almost 28 years even now I live 65 miles away and if its a non emergency I still go to this veterinarian Hospital their service and Care in the true love of the animals of all kinds that they see is amazing and gives you great comfort the prices are reasonable and they are always understanding of how hard it is when that big decision has to be made it has to be one of the toughest jobs and they must shed many tears because thats just the kind of people they are ,good-hearted ,caring, and truly love there jobs.

In July 2015, our 14 year old, 11 lb, Yorkie was viciously attacked by a pit bull. Following emergency care on a Sunday, Angie required daily wound care which was received at Treasure Island Vet. Angie received the best care I could imagine. Everyone at this vet is genuinely caring and thorough. Ive been to several vets in past years who dont come close to this qualify of care. Reasonable cost to top it off. Thanks for taking care of Angie!

SAD! Our dog was bleeding from the mouth and we could not tell the reason. He has been a patient for 14 years but this office refused to see us on an emergency yesterday. The doctor was out to lunch until 2pm and had a full patient schedule the rest of the day. So disappointed how we were treated. We ended up finding another clinic that saw us but took awhile of calling. We will be taking our two pets to another veterinarian.

I love this vet even moved out of the area and I drive 40 min just to take my dog there. When you find a great caring affordable vet you dont move vets if you do not have to. They take such great care of my dog Sachmo and even got us in for a emergency and really spent time with us and our dog to make sure he was okay. Sachmo has seen all three vets there and they all three are amazing would recommend all of them!

I cannot begin to describe how WONDERFUL the people who work here are! We unfortunately had to put our 10 year old Mastiff down on what was her "bucket list" vacation... They got me in as soon as I called and were so compassionate and kind. Money wasnt an object, but their price was extremely reasonable . THANK YOU SOOO MUCH for making this as easy as possible! ❤️
