I have been taking my dog to see Dr. Peterson since 2008. Shes a small dog with a luxating patella. He would give her adjustments. Never had an issue with him or his staff until last week. I called and left a voice mail message inquiring about a brace for her knee. No return call. I call back 6 days later and mysteriously nobody seems to know anything about my voice mail message. The woman that answered the phone said she was out on Thursday & Friday, knew nothing about the message, but would have the Dr call me. I call this morning and get the rudest woman out of them all. But then again in person she has no personality. I tell her Ive called three times and I wanted to know does he do anything with braces for knees. "No." OK. I then ask does he recommend anyone? "OSU." I then have to ask for a telephone number! Perhaps theres a reason she works with animals since having proper customer service towards humans is too much to give. Three strikes youre out. I wont be back. I work too hard and drive too far to be treated like I was never a customer to begin with. Thanks for the recommendation, Ill go straight to OSU.

I am new to the area and was referred to go here by a friend. If you and your dog are looking for a friendly vet to go to DO NOT GO HERE. I felt uncomfortable and unwelcomed From the moment I walked in until the moment I left. My dog does not like going to the vet because he is scared and all he went in for was a nail trim and everyone working made me feel like I ruined their day. The main vet was rude and made it very clear he did not want me to ever come back because my dog was hard to deal with. He is a ten pound Yorkie and I needed a vet because I thought they would take the best care of him and be understanding of him being uneasy about being there. They were awful and I dont know why any of the workers are in the field to work with pets. TERRIBLE customer service...i work in the customer service industry so it was very hard to feel so unwelcomed in a public small town place.

Ive taken my pet there on occasion for several years up until now. I called in on a Thursday because my dog had a medical condition that I was concerned about and had to leave a message with Debbie at the front desk to have the Doc call me back. Five days later after no return call, I call back and Debbie told me that the Doc was on vacation so thats why he didnt return my call. The Doc is back now so why no call? or at least, How about a courtesy call to let me know? Left me hanging and so I will never visit their office again. The people there were never overly friendly and the conditions of the exam rooms are disgusting.

I love Dr. Peterson and his staff! Such a laidback office and they never pressure you or make you feel guilty. Dr. Peterson is so knowledgeable and I love that he uses homeopathic remedies in addition to medical remedies.

Wonderful care for a small town vet. The ladies at the desk are always friendly and helpful and Dr. P has been amazing with my three small dogs and our cats. He is also always willing to give equine advice if I need it!
