This is a horrible practice. I was pregnant at 10 weeks. I went in for my first appointment, blood work and pap, After waiting over an hour I was seen. First impression is that staff can be very unpersonal, definetly not enjoying their job. I was scheduled for an ultrasound for the following week. I received very sad news from the tech. She said that the image she was seeing was not what embryo should look like at 8-10 weeks. I was told I had to wait so that I could see a doctor and be given an explanation. I waited an excruciating 30 minutes. In tears. They could not find my doctor (Marimon) so they found another doctor (whom Ive never met) and OVER THE PHONE was told I had a missed abortion. I was told that I would have options as to how to proceed and that my doctor would contact me. Sure nugh... 3 days later heavy bleeding began that morning. I called the office to see the doctor. I was given the run around. I explained what happened and no one has had the decency to call me, I demanded to see the doctor to know what was happening to me. They told me to come in by 11 am that morning and that he would see me before he leaves at 12p. Heavy cramps started, bleeding intensified with blot clots. I left my work in a frenzy, driving like a maniac. Finally got there at 10:30am just to be told to take a seat. In a lobby full of people, no seats available, and with blood running down my jeans. I politely ask to go to the restroom. Once inside the office, away from the people in the lobby, I spoke one-on-one with one of the ladies at the front desk and tell her that I was told to come in by 11 to see the doctor as soon as possible. She shrugged this off, gave no importance and told me to wait outside. I said, I cant, I am bleeding. She said well, no one would tell you to come in. Another lady then said my name because she had my file in her hands. I told her remember you told me to come in to see the doctor. She said umm..yea. right. I was just so bewildered. I got enraged. Just no compassion. Im in tears and tell them I am bleeding down to my knees! So the first lady said. Well, then go to the hospital! In awe, I walked out of there, hunch forward, completely embarrassed b/c of how bloody I was, in horrible abdominal pain. I dont know how I managed. By then my husband arrived, over the phone I told him to go directly to emergency and to get me help. I got there and the staff and Kendall Regional really attended us. They were compassionate and empathetic. Kindness goes a long way. Hours passed, days passed, and now a year has passed. Not one call from anyone or any doctor. Ive been advised to write them letters, make official complaint/ report them. I just didnt want to re live the nightmare. Sorry to any mom out there whos lost a baby.

I am a first time soon to be mom. At my almost 30 weeks of pregnancy I have only seen "my doctor" for about 5 seconds. I dread everytime I have an appointment because I know it is going to be a long wait and I am only going to be seen for about 2 minutes by a physician (whos not even Dr. Marimon) To me, thats not enough time to ask any questions or make light of any concerns. They never ask anyway either. I went with this doctor because it was the first one apointed by my insurance and I had already made the decision to give birth at Kendall Regional because every other hospital seems too far away. I also read all they amazing reviews in several websites but after speaking to a couple of his patients who have the same experience as me I decided to write my own. I cant say if he is a good doctor or not, because I havent even spent time with him. I just keep hoping and praying that the day my baby decides to come nothing goes wrong and everything goes smoothly. I think this doctor takes on way too many patients, I usually have my appointments scheduled for 9AM because I have work and dont like to miss too much of the day, but even if I get to the office at 8.30 the waiting room is already PACKED with women. I dont understand that. Do they just give EVERYONE the same time? I really thought this experience was going to be different, I thought this being a CHILD that is going to be born soon I would feel that I had more support from a doctor. Honestly, i get more answers from google. I feel like im just going through the system and I hate it. If I ever decided to have another child I will definitely be going a different way and hope not to have such a bad experience. I wont even comment on the staff... They always seem to be ovewhelmed and too distracted to help. Which I guess is understandable since there are so many other ppl they have to attend to. Its just overall not a pleasant experience if you were expecting more hands on care.
