I contacted the office of Dr. Mario Gomez due to non stop severe bleeding. The date of the first appointment he told me that the medicine in the U.S. Is passive. We both are Colombian and he said that the medicine in Colombia is aggressive. I didnt understand the statement because the patients health is priority in any country. He told me my case had to be handled with a treatment of injections and that my fibroids would shrink or continue the same and in that case I would need surgery. He did hormones test and a biopsy. Both results were good and he wouldnt have to see me in 6 months. 15 days after the last appointment I started bleeding again but thinking that it could be my monthly visit I waited a week to call him. At that point my bleeding was worst than before. He sent a treatment of 10 days but bleeding continued. After finishing the treatment my bleeding got worst. Had to go to the ER. my hemoglobin dropped badly. Whe I left the ER I went directly to the Drs office and dropped the emergency papers. ER wanted my hemoglobin to be checked in 1-2 days. I was told there was no more room for appointment cause dr was full. On the 4th day Icalled again and told them my hemoglobin had to be checked 2 days ago. They had not noticed. The 5 th day I went for appointment and Dr asked me if I had changed insurance cause my next step was surgery and the Baptist Hospital does not take my insurance. He never told me that and I feel he took advantage of tests he could do to charge my insurance. I felt he never cared for my health cause Ineeded surgery since the beginning. That same day in the elevator a pregnant young lady told me she went through the same. He should not be a Dr if he cant tell his patients the truth since the beginning.

Haber encontrado al Dr. Mario Gomez y haber sido atendida por el durante mi embarazo hasta el parto ha sido una de las mejores cosas que me ha pasado en la vida sin exagerar. El Dr. Mario es una persona sencilla, super profesional, humano y sobretodo le apasiona lo que hace. Las enfermeras y asistentes son maravillosas y super amigables. Estar en esa consulta te hace sentir como en casa. Verdaderamente lo recomendaria mil veces ya que es muy dificil hoy en dia encontrar un servicio que cumpla todas tus espectativas en un solo lugar. Me quedo super agradecida y con el mejor de los recuerdos. Gracias Dr. Mario!!!

What an excellent Doctor. Excellent practice overall. He has excellent bedside manner, a great sense of humor, and his staff are friendly. He is very dedicated. Takes his time to explain everything in detail. One of his staff members visited me at the hospital and gave us a little present with the next apt attached! I was so touched. I recommend his practice to anyone. Wished I knew about him with my first born. Thank you Dr. Gomez. I have been blessed to find a great doctor.

Hes a great doctor and his staff is very friendly. I specifically went to him because its hard to find a doctor that sees you at your appointments and delivers your baby. Hes very up front about anything you ask and takes the time to answer your questions. The only problem Ive come across is the waiting room. Sometimes its very full and you cant get a seat and wait a very long time, other times its wide open and you go in quickly.

I would recommend him to ANYONE. His staff is absolutely friendly, kind and patient. He himself was very knowledgeable and charming in a way that calms you. When I was in labor its cause of his instructions and encouragement that helped me find the strength to push my daughter out. My fiance and I are beyond impressed and I wish I could give more then stars.
