They are a 10 star not a 5. I have owned many pets over the years and had what I thought was good vets but this place is above and beyond. Had to put a cat down that had cancer and the entire staff was so caring and supportive. They truly care about the animal and try to do everything to cure and if that is not possible they do everything to ease the pain and fear for the animal with a very calming and loving atmosphere to pass peacefully. I could not have gotten through that without the remarkable support and compassion they displayed. My other cat had 2 visits right after loosing the first cat and they again amazed me with the compassion they gave her issues. I am a very over protective pet mom and am always on defense where my furry children are concerned. After my experience with the death of the first cat I realized they care as much as I do for the well being of my precious ones. Thank you Dr. Elliott and the entire staff for everything you did for my Snickers. Your pets are in good hands with these people. I highly recommend them. I am always reluctant to leave my pets in the hands of others but they have won my trust. Thats saying a lot for someone like me. I can not thank them enough.

This is the best Vet I have ever taken my animals to. The staff is very accomadating and caring. The techs are knowledgeable and compassionate. Dr. Elliott is so sweet and understands animals as well as their owners. I had to take my 14 year old cat, Gabby to see Dr. Elliott so he could euthanize her. It was her time. He helped me undertstand the signs before so I would know when the time was right. On that day...they had candles lit...a soft blanket for her to rest upon. They gave her something to relax her so we could say our Good-Byes. There was so much peace in that room and in our hearts. They even sent flowers the next day to our home. Instead of getting her ashes I had her paw print made. It came back in a beautiful frame with her name engraved. I had a picture made and put it on the other side of her paw print. My 2 year old kitten sees Dr. Elliot for her annual visits. Our other animals go there as well. The one thing I really appreciate about Dr. Elliott is that he does not run tons of test when they are not needed. He is the only vet I have ever known who does not seem like he is doing this because of the money. How refreshing

Each time one of my dogs has become acutely ill or developed pain, Best Care Animal Hospital Staff has given my animal immediate attention and treatment upon arrival. Last fall, one of my beloved dogs became seriously ill with no hope of survival. Dr. Elliott explained what was happening to her in terms that we could understand. My family (Grandchildren included) were placed in a private room. The room was set up with a lite candle and the examination table was covered with a baby blanket. The dog was prepared for the procedure prior to us seeing her. A wonderful staff member by the name Bianca brought my Cocoa in the room and left us alone to says our good byes. In a short time, she and Dr. Elliott returned. Cocoa was put to sleep surrounded by our love. We were treated with respect and dignity the entire time. I will continue to use Best Care Animal Hospital for my pets healthcare needs.

While the staff was friendly and accommodating on the surface, I got the feeling they were all about the money. They tried to get me to buy a 12 pound bag of cat food for $65, they did not send my cat home after a 2 day stay with the needed medicine. My cat had a bladder infection. He was in the vets for two days for a total cost of $650. I was sent home not with an antibiotic but with a bladder relaxer. Im a biology teacher and I have no clue what that even means. Yes I should have asked what it was. Unfortunately, I had a host of other issues at the time. I did receive several calls asking if I needed to bring the cat back or did I want to buy the food which were annoying. My cat did get better only because I went to the feed store and bought the correct antibiotic which he should have been on to begin with. I will not be returning to this vet or any of their affiliates

I have to say, they truly are the BEST care you can ask for. I have both my two English Mastiffs that go here and each time they are so extremely helpful and understanding. I took my boy to get neutered and I was really nervous.. they sat me down and explained the entire procedure and made sure I was comfortable. They are more than willing to make the pet owner happy.And of course they made sure my pups were okay, they light up when they walk in (I have awesome fur kids) I am excited to try out their boarding option when needed. All of them love my babies and show that they will take care of them like I do. Customer service is extremely important when dealing with someones pets and they really get that. I am more than happy that I chose this vet. I wouldnt go anywhere else! Thank you Best Care Animal Hospital!

This vet clinic is amazing. I have 4 dogs and 2 of them have been to this clinic so far. The staff is so polite and so helpful. They actually take the time to explain everything to you. For the person who said you will get ripped off that is a COMPLETE lie, any vet office you go to will charge at least $50.00 to be seen, its how the world works! I would be more then happy to post my vet bill to prove it. The prices here are great and I would never take my dogs anywhere else. I have met with 2 vets at this clinic and I have nothing but nice things to say about them. One of my dogs would not stop barking and I was really impressed with how they handled him. If you want to take your pets to a place where both you and them will be treated right please check this place out!

We are second generation clients - our first three kids, Wakeman, Schooner and Little Boy were provided with excellent care by Dr. Griffin and Dr. Brownell. Be it routine care or treatment for a issue commonly treated by a specialist, our team at Animal Care Center is always there for us. Our second generation, Boone, Magi Mae and Tyler Bean are thriving under their care as well. Weve included specialists in the Orlando area; oncologists, orthopedic surgeons, dermatologists and ocular vets, in our kids care and were delighted to know that Dr. Griffin was well known to them. Having lived in the New Port Richey area since 1987 and having been clients at two other clinics, we can honestly say that Animal Care Center is the best by far.

I use to drive 3 hours from Orlando to bring my dog Pullie in to see Dr. Steven. Pullie just loves him.. The 2 times that Dr. Channel saw pullie she was concern for him also even though she was not familiar with his illness, she did the best she could do until Dr. Steven came back.. Pullie was well taken care of and even though I missed him terrible I knew he was in good hands with all the staff. Beata called me 2 times a day to give me updates on my little man. I had to work at Disney that weekend. I have been taking my all my fur babies to Best Care for the last 12 years. Thank you Best Care for you caring, thoughtfulness, helpfulness, and just because you all do the best you can for our fur babies... Anna and Pullie
