We have been new to town for a few months now, and I was in search for a vet for our dog and a few people I have talked to had told me several places that were good. Well I went to some of these places, and one place the doctor was very sweet, and the staff was horrible. And the other place I was told to go the entire place was just awful. Then my neighbor told me to go to Hillview, and I was very hesitant to go in just from having been through at the 2 other vet offices I went to. Well as soon as I walked into the door I was met with a smile and Hi how are you, and how may I help you..which I did not recieve at the previous ones. That was very comforting to me, and my dogs took to these girls here and the vet so quick, which I was worried seeing as they werent familiar with them, that made me feel good. They were so used to there other vet, that I was affraid they wouldnt warm up, but I was wrong, the doctor was so kind and gentle and he gave them treats and kissed them and everything. I was and still am very please with Hillview! I totally recommend anyone in need of a good vet and kennel and groomer to please seek out Dr Josh and his wonderful staff. They have made my move to Ohio much easier seeing as I am a stay at home mom for my 2 kids and the dogs. Thanks Hillview for making me and my dogs feel like were family.

Dr. Halper and staff are the best! We had used a different veterinarian for a while with our first dog and second dog, Tinkerbell. The other veterinarian would require three technicians to hold my Tinkerbell down just to trim her toe nails. We started to go to Hillview when we were unable to get Tinkerbell to even go into the other veterinarians office! We were greeted with a smile. Dr. Halper and his staff treated us with respect and, more importantly, showed Tinkerbell care and compassion. Now when we go they greet our dog first, by name! She goes in wagging her tail. No longer do we need a group of people to hold her down to trim her toe nails. She goes willingly. Dr. Halper has been right on when alerting us to possible knee problems and was able to determine the exact treatment, including a referral for both surgeries. He has also performed in-office surgeries to remove other growths. He does it all! Not only is he a great veterinarian, but the Bed and Biscuit is the best boarding place in town! Our Tinkerbell loves to go there, gets treated very nicely, and the TLC package gives Tinkerbell the same treatment there that she would get at home. Hillview Bed and Biscuit is, by far, the BEST place in Reynoldsburg and the surrounding area to take your pets.

I have been going to hillview for several years and I have only been boarding my dogs there and we were going to another vet clinic. I enjoyed bringing my dogs to the kennel because Missy who is the manager there always sets my mind at ease when they are boarded, she always keeps me updated on how they are doing while i am away and that is a relief to me due to a horrible experience I had at another kennel where my dogs came back scared and smelled of urine. I dont have to worry about that at Hillview ever, my dogs actually try to turn back around when we are there to leave because they love it so much..and that is when we decided to just transfer everything over to Hillview and I believe we have made a great choice in doing that. I agree with the other review that it is a one stop shop, plus knowing the doctor is there when the dogs are boarding is great and calms my nerves. Thank You Hillview for being there and taking such great care of my dogs, who in turn are my children. And Missy you are fantastic!! Thank you so much. God Bless

Dr. Josh is the best vet I have ever taken my pets to. He is extremely good at diagnosing and healing problems but he is also excellent at providing routine care (shots etc.) When my older dog needed delicate surgery on her achilles tendon, he performed the surgery successfully and had a very caring attitude. Recently my other dog had a painful leg injury. We took him to Hillview and Dr. Josh treated him using a therapy laser. After the first treatment, our dog was moving far better and obviously feeling much less pain. The three laser sessions he had really helped him heal quickly. The laser is truly a miracle therapy and I am so grateful we had access to it through Dr. Josh. Dr. Joshs ability to use the latest treatments and his expertise in them are more reasons why I feel really confident having my dogs and cat receive their care at Hillview.

DR. HALPERS MISDIAGNOSIS KILLS OUR DOG!! (Not Just Ours) Took our dog in because she was not eating or drinking. Wanted a full cheek up. Dr. Harper said it was because she had inflamed gum on one side. Gave her two shots, prescribed two meds and said she would be fine. Our dog died the next morning. TOTAL MISDIAGNOSIS. She wasnt eating or drinking because she was Dying. Our only kid is now dead because of this doctor. While my wife and I were out talking about it, a man over heard our conversation and said "That sounds familiar, who was the vet?" Told him Halper on east Main St. He said he too took his dog to Dr Joshua Halper and he gave his dog a shot, told him the dog will be fine and sent them home with meds. His dog died the next day. SOMETHING IS SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH THE DOCTORS TREATMENT!!! BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!

The vet asistant asked me why i was there i told her i was looking for a new veternarian closer to home and to have my dog examined really well for skin problems she took my dog away from me took him behind closed doors out of my view gave him to a doctor that i have never met and then Dr Halper (introduced himself after treating my dog) came out and told me what he DID to my dog. He shaved a spot and injected him with something that he said wont cure the problem (so why give it to him) and a perscription for some pills that should help slow down the itching he didnt tell me anything else about the healh of my dog or any further treatments that would be made known at the exam I FELT THAT THIS WAS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE IVE EVER RECEIVED FROM ANY VETERNARIAN!

We have been friends with Dr. Josh and his staff for as long as he has been there. You could not ask for a nicer group of people to take care of your pets. Dr. Josh has helped us from the beginning to the end of life with several of our pets and we were always treated as family from Dr. Josh and his staff. When you have to say goodby to a great friend, they help you do it in a comforting and supportive way. I would follow Dr. Josh to any other location if he would ever leave, but I hope I wont ever have to. We have an older cat and Dr. Josh explains everything that we need to do for her and takes all the time we need when we go in for our visits. I just cant say enough about Dr. Josh and his staff. They are all WONDERFUL :)
