As a healthcare provider and 22 week pregnant patient, I have NEVER been more disappointed in any physicians office. I was sick this weekend and asked to come in after I was feeling better just to ensure baby was okay and that I do not need to worry about anything with my recent illness and was advised by the front desk girl to "go to the ER." I said, "I do not need to be in an ER. I am a nurse practitioner and just want to make sure baby is okay and maybe get some medicine for nausea in case I need it again. I do not need to waste time in an ER when they are only going to tell me to follow-up with my OB" and was still refused an appointment. I called back again and asked for an office manager to discuss how ridiculous this was, considering that I do NOT have a medical emergency and did not need to waste ER resources/time when I should really be following up with my specialist, but was once again blown off and told, "you have diclegis (a daily nausea medicine for morning sickness that I stopped taking about 8 weeks ago as my morning sickness subsided which IS NOT FOR ACUTE SYMTPOMS) to take so you can take that and go to the ER." I called to talk to the office manager, my fiancée called as he was also livid, and we were given the run around and blatantly lied to about her being out of office until the front desk girl was sick of talking to him and put her on the phone. This office has been such a letdown since my first appointment there: running 2 hours behind on appointment times, not being open Fridays or at the Palm Harbor location on Tuesdays limiting available schedule times, and now this is just the icing on the cake. I have no desire to be seen any longer by any provider who will unnecessarily just brush me off and send me to an ER where they wont be able to do anything for me that I need done and feel bad for any patients who are not in medicine and dont know better and end up wasting time, money, and resources from taking the advice from this joke of an office. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PRACTICE!!!!

Dr. Ancheta was pleasant when we met him but we have had nothing but issues since the delivery. We had our baby a week earlier than the due date but was uninformed that he would be on vacation the week prior to the due date. I pushed it off as a single mistake of miscommunication until she had to have a check-up. My wife needed to be seen in order to go back to work and had to beg and plead for an appointment earlier than originally scheduled (after she could already go back to work, but needed the doctors note). After she showed up for the appointment on the Thursday before she could go into work, they told her that Dr. Ancheta had to go perform a delivery at the hospital and that her appointment was cancelled. The office is closed on Fridays and she was supposed to go back to work on Monday. My wife called at 9a Monday morning (when they open) and asked to be fit into the schedule as she needed to go back to work. She was told she would get a call back once they took a look at the doctors schedule for the day. At noon, she had to call the office again as she still hadnt heard from them. Again, she was given the same response. This occurred a total of five times. Then at 4:30p she went to the office and said that she was willing to wait to be seen. They still refused to see her, stating that the doctor was unable to fit her on a schedule. My wife then asked to speak with the manager, who again gave the same response. Ive worked in a multitude of healthcare settings the past 8 years and have never dealt with such incompetence for customer service. I would highly recommend not choosing this office as your provider.

I moved here from another state where I had experienced wonderful care under another doctor before during a miscarriage. I was nervous about a new doctor at all, let alone a male doctor. I definitely found the right one! Dr. Ancheta is a fantastic doctor! He is informative, calm, friendly, pleasant, professional, and encouraging. He answers all of your questions in a thorough manner. He is very involved with his patients. He took great care of me and made certain to monitor me closely when I developed preeclampsia. He was very involved every step of the way and ensured a safe delivery for me and my baby. He further respected my wishes when we discussed my preferences for delivery. Because I had blood pressure complications with the preeclampsia, I had to be monitored closely. During that time he made 2 additional visits to me in the hospital post delivery in order to check on me and inform me and my husband personally of his plans for my care and release. I absolutely cannot say enough positive about my experience with this doctor. He earned my respect in a big way and I hope to have him deliver my next baby!

I was a patient of Dr. Anchettas for over 18 years. Ive recently left due to the rude staff and the way they speak to me and other patients. I specifically asked to leave a message for Dr. Anchetta, as I have once before, and was told of I wanted to speak to him I would have to make an appointment and pay another co-pay. The employee, Alicia, refused to pass the message on and was extremely arrogant. I eventually got a call from another staff member but nothing from the office manager or even Dr. Anchetta. I requested my records and moved on. Its a shame that a horrible staff can ruin the image of a once great, concerned doctor. Guess he has enough patients not to care about the ones who stuck with him from the beginning of his career. I would never recommend this office to anyone. Its not the office it used to be for sure!

I requested my medical records today after 4 months of prenatal OB-Gyn and follow-up care that included the following: Dr. Ancheta "Lets do that pap & pelvic exam." (Brought 3 coed students along) Receptionist "You making a payment today?" (Bill not even mailed yet) Dr. Ancheta "Congratulations again!" (On pre-miscarriage bed rest) Medical Assistant "You are just here for results." (Ultrasound after losing my baby) Nurse Practitioner "Id check into IVF right away!" (Pregnant only 5 days before) "But you didnt stay pregnant." Dr. Ancheta "Lotsa STDs and no estrogen." (Wrong patients blood test chart) *My husband and I have nothing but good things to say about Maria and Annette in the adjoining ultrasound wing next door.

Needed to go in at a specific date because I Knew my new insurance wouldnt kick in till then but couldnt get 2 simple months of birth control in the mean time! Even though there is 5 plus years of a relationship. Then I had to reshedule it do to my own work schedule but she REFUSED because I didnt have current health insurance information, I was at work and didnt have that info in front of me and its hard to reach them when Im off of work cause they are not open. What if I were self pay the questioned wasnt even asked or considered meanwhile I just wanted to reshedule now when I have all the info they probably wont have availability so much for trying to be proactive considering finding a new Dr. Thanks
