I went to Dr. Mathur for 19 years, myself from 5-19, then my son from birth to 4. She is not what she used to be anymore. I have been very disappointed in her services for my son. She is always reactive and never proactive with his health concerns. The new staff she has are horrible. They are rude, un-knowledgeable, un-timely, and one of them Ive even heard sit there talking about how much she hates kids. The usual wait time these days is generally 2-3 hours. Even with an appointment youre waiting 1.5+ hours. The doctor comes in late, and stays out to lunch late messing up her own scheduled appointments. Shes difficult to get referrals from, and when you do, its often that the time wasnt taken to ensure that the referral goes to someone who takes your insurance. Several times recently shes become defensive with me, speaking in a very inappropriate and unprofessional manner to me when I tried to address my concerns with her. Shes constantly "taking new clients" and is WAY over worked and WAY over booked. Shes just put herself in a place that she cant put the time and care into the clients she has anymore, and I dont feel like shes kept up with the continual medical education on the newest treatments and medications. Unfortunately I had to remove my son from her care, and on his first visit to his new doctor, issues were addressed that Dr. Mathur never mentioned as even a possibility. That upsets me that he has suffered with these ailments for 4 years, when it can be solved with 1 good visit to someone else.

I had a horrible experience with Dr. Anita M. When I was 38 weeks pregnant I was calling around to see who would take non vaccinated patients, I spoke to someone in the office and she advised that the Dr. would still see my son if I DIDNT vaccinate him. Needless to say when I got there and actually spoke to the doctor she said that she is for vaccinations and is going to convince us to vaccinate our child,so I asked "what if I still dont want to get it done after he is 2 months old?" And she pretty much said we will cross that bridge when we get there but she will try to convince me because this reflects her reputation. She wasted my time since she would not give me a straight answer and then tried to scare me with stories on why everyone needs to get vaccinated. Also, she told me not to punish my child because Im wanting to breastfeed and then she gave me a thing of formula. I will NOT be bullied by a doctor because of the choices I make for MY child. I told her I wasnt going to argue or debate with her because of the decisions Im making since she kept asking me for "articles and proof" on why I thought vaccinations werent necessary. My husband and I left so disatisfied since we have to pay a co-pay for each doctor visit. I pretty much paid to hear her lecture me. She also was very rude and interrupted me each time I tried asking simple questions. Doctors work for the people not the other way around and I want a great pediatrician for my little guy and she definitely wasnt it. We will not be going back.

This place is awful. The wait time is ridiculous. Appt mean nothing to these people, if you come here make sure you dont make any plans for the rest of the day, because they dont care about your time at all. I will NEVER come back here again. This is my 3rd time here I thought maybe they were just having a hard or off days, but now its clear this is just how they operate.

I have been taking my kids to Orlando area. For a very long time now and decided that I need some one near my home in deltona and heard about Dr. Mathur and its been over a year Ive been bringing my son there and 8 months with my Godson and shes been a great doctor with my family, very sweet and caring! Glad I choosed her, so far I cant complaint about anything. Thanks!

Best pediatrician Ive ever met. There are few doctors who go above and beyond anymore. My son had a very high fever and was in the hospital. It was at midnight and the hospital called her office and left a message with the after hours person...Dr mathur called us less than 30 minutes later to talk with me and walk us through his care. Shes amazing!

I have a 16 yr old and a 6 month old, choosing a doctor for my baby girl was not easy... My daughter became sick and Dr.Mathur was there for me... She was out of town, but still had no problems calling me and making sure my daughter was ok... She deserves praise (in my opinion) I felt a strong commitment from her and her staff...

Dr Anita Mathur is very thorough in her discussion about our childs health. She does a great job of giving point by point instructions and makes herself available for follow up. Awesome beside manners and she takes time with your child. We have been with Dr. Mather since our son was born 5 yrs ago.

My children have went to her since they were babies and now are 13 and 14. She is very in tune with the latest health conditions and very sensitive to our needs. As far as prescribing too much medication if you dont want the medication you are free to decline. I truly adore her and the staff!

Dr. Mathur is great. She is very thorough and truly cares about your childs wellbeing. Sometimes the wait times can be long but its definitely worth it. There were times that my children had to be seen right away and she fit me in the same day. She is the best

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Mathur for 11 years. She is a great doctor. She does tend to give out a lot of medicine, but she is a doctor and I am not, so I have to remember that and I always have the choice to get the prescription filled or not.

Well I just moved here. Front desk and nurse is very nice. Now for the Dr. shes okay she treats me like if Im a bad parent and I dont know what Im doing as a parent. Shes slightly rude. Thinking about finding a different doctor.
