Our children both go to Dr. Dobbins, our oldest for over 9 years. He is AMAZING. I highly recommend him. He is a great doctor and has never steered us wrong. He has always accurately treated my children, let me know if something I was worried about was actually no big deal, or referred us to a great specialist in the few cases when he felt something should have been checked into further. I really like how he takes all questions and concerns seriously without sending anyone into a panic. Its very obvious that he has been doing this for a long time, and he knows his medicine. He also has a wonderful bedside manner including a personal touch with both kids and parents. Even when we come in to get records for school and day care, he has taken the time to come out and greet my children and talk to them for a few minutes. He does a lot of little things that make a big difference, like examining little ones on Mommys lap (if possible) so theyre more comfortable. His nursing staff is top notch and friendly, as well. Ive never had trouble getting in quickly when the kids have been sick, and although in nine years weve only called him after hours once, that one time was on Christmas Day for a very high fever, and he still called us right back. It is really hard to find caring service like that in todays culture. I found Dr. Dobbins on the recommendation of another mom. I would love to return the favor and recommend him to a mom looking for a wonderful, knowledgeable, and caring pediatrician for their child.

We had a horrible experience here. We brought our newborn son here when he had an unexplained episode. The Dr wouldnt listen to our concerns and told us if we didnt follow his exact instructions that we would be dropped from his practice (and eventually sent us a letter dropping us). I always believed it should be a discussion about treatments not a do what I say or else. Also, this office is so far in the dark ages. The Dr has to look up medicines in a book and not even computerized. He had to write 2 different prescriptions because the first one was the wrong dose! How is he able to identify the best medicines when he has an book form who knows what year. Also, the secretary is so RUDE. She has an attitude like we owed her something for even going. She ignores you when you walk in and gives you an attitude when you say excuse me and "interrupt" her. STAY AWAY!!! GO TO NEMOURS CHILDRENS NETWORK DOCTOR!!!

I highly recommend staying away from this office. The front desk staff is awful, the woman is so rude for no reason and sounds like she smokes 3 packs cigs a day, every time I visited this office they had issues with my insurance. I had to reschedule multiple appointments making it super inconvenient and then get charged $25 for missing a appointment I rescheduled. They are a mess! The office is garage literally, its so dirty and out dated. I dont recall seeing 1 sanitizer bottle out of the 4-5 visits I had. The doctor was nice but he seemed WAY different then any other doctor I have encountered. Normal old clothes on, didnt wear gloves when touching my child..had my child lay in his lap while examining. It was very very odd. Stay away!!

After he LAUGHED at me and my concern about my child, I knew it was time for a new doctor. But then he confirmed that feeling when I pushed for a specialist referral regarding an ongoing problem. He discounted the matter as "a school thing" and to just pull him out of school if I wanted to see an improvement. He then continued to argue with me, basically insulting my intelligence by saying him making a referral would be "fraud", even though my son has had three to four ear infections this year. He asked me if maybe I wanted to just pick up his file and find a new doctor. Well thats fine! Its a better solution than pulling a child out of school!

We have been seeing Dr. Dobbins for 2-3 years now. He has been so great with my 4-year-old. He is caring, available, I never wait long and they always get me right in when I call. I have had to call after hours before and he always calls right back and keeps tabs on my daughter. He has never made me feel ignorant or silly for bringing her in over mild illnesses, when I was unsure. He has always appropriately diagnosed and referred me to a specialist when needed. He has recently hired new front office people that are very professional. His nurse Dori is also wonderful and they make a great team. I HIGHLY recommend him!!

We were visiting Orlando on vacation, and our child had a small diaper rash that turned south; being away from home, we searched Google for a well-rated pediatrician, and found Dr. Dobbins. He was fantastic! He has a great way with young kids (ours is 20 months at the time of this review) and he was laid back, kind, professional, and it was obvious he genuinely cared for our child - even though we wouldnt be regulars, he treated us like wed been coming for years. We would highly recommend Dr. Dobbins, especially if you are on vacation and need a reliable pediatrician for your little one.

Dr Dobbins and all of his staff are superb! I have never met a more loving and nurturing group of doctors, nurses , and front desk staff. Its easy to get in here and the wait times are never too long. The longest Ive had to wait for an open appointment was a couple days. I LOVE this pediatric office and would trust my sons care to anyone else.
