If you are looking for a Doctor that will properly treat your child, look elsewhere. Working in the medical field I have never come across a Doctor and Staff with little to no respect for theirs patients. Unfortunately, my 4 year old daughter has been seen by Dr. Francisco Corp since birth. I currently live in Ocala and have had to travel to see Dr. Corp at his Orlando practice. My daughters last visit he did not know what she was coming in for - once he finally realized that I knew exactly what I scheduled her for he moved forward with treatment - in addition he decided to prescribe Antibiotics, Cough medicine, and inhaler after diagnosing Bronchitis. Unfortunately, my daughter is allergic to Penicillin and it has been known since 2013. I did not think to check the Rx given and took it to the pharmacy here in Ocala. The Pharmacist contacted me to let me know that she cannot prescribe what the Dr sent in due to my daughters allergy. It took multiple calls from myself and the Pharmacist to get in contact with the staff in the office in regards to my daughters Rx. Finally after 24 hours of attempting to get the issue resolved the Dr got the message and contacted me via phone after I got upset with the Medical Assistant for her lack of knowledge and professionalism. The Dr let me know that he never looked in my daughters chart to check for any allergies to medications. The pharmacy then let me know that he once again prescribed something in the Penicillin family and they did not recommend it. With that information I contacted the Dr once again and explained to him what the pharmacist told me and if he could call in something else - he told me that if she gets an allergic reaction I can SUE him. He was very disrespectful and inconsiderate. Once I thought everything was resolved and over - the pharmacy let me know that he never called in her inhaler. At this point it has been 3 days since her visit and she has not been able to take her medications due to the incompetence of both the Doctor and staff. I contacted the office again today in regards to the inhaler. Monica let me know that it was sent to a Wal-Mart pharmacy in Kissimmee - I have been living in Ocala for over a year and have updated my information with the office multiple times - I gave Monica the pharmacy information in which they have already called in the antibiotics. Lets see how long this takes...

On Wednesday Jan 13th I called your offices and spoke with Monica. I informed her that my son has been having stomach pains for days and hasn’t been able to use the restroom. She first asked me if I could take him that afternoon but I informed her I was at work and wasn’t possible. I asked for an appointment for Thursday or Friday and she informs me the doctor is leaving early and that she would call me back. About 10 minutes later I get a call from her informing me that the doctor said he could see him at 10 am Thursday 14th. I went along with my daily routine and made arrangements for his dad to take him the next morning. Once my son and his dad arrive he is told there is no appointment and tell him to have a seat. About an hour and half goes by and no one has said anything to him. The front desk continues to say there is no appointment instead of helping us. I then call and speak with Monica herself and she tells me that there is no appointment in the system and that she has to wait for the doctor to tell her if he will be able to see him because he is already behind seeing patients that had appointments at 9 am, granted it is already 11:38am . To add insult to injury she tries to make it sound like she is doing me a favor for not having an appointment when it was clearly her fault for not putting my appointment in the system the day before. They had to wait over 3 hours to see you and that is unacceptable. If it such an inconvenience for your office to see a patient that has been yours since he was born 7 years ago then we will gladly take our business elsewhere. Our insurance pays for your services and we clearly not asking for any favors or free service. To you guys we are just another patient but my son is the most important thing in the world and he or any other child doesn’t deserve to be treated like they do not matter. These children are there for a reason and that is because they are feeling ill and to have them wait for so long and treated that way is not right. I am very disappointed in how you all treated us and the professionalism handled by the staff in your office.

If I could give it zero starts I would...Where would I even begin to start...You get an appointment arrive early, usually we arrive 15-20 minutes prior so that we can sign in and submit insurance and all of that, if you have a scheduled appointment you WILL NOT BE SEEN at that scheduled time. Usually you will get seen an hour or two later...Ive know to have appointments at 7:45am and not get seen until 11 (sucks I know) Even when you call and tell them whats going on, he can NEVER see your sick child (even when you are paying, not free) they ALWAYS tell us to take them to the Urgent Care Clinic because the doctor does not have any openings at the moment. The lady in the front (dont know her name) is not the happiest person in the world..You are working at a Pediatricians Office, you have kids that surround you on a day to day basis...if you cant handle that then you need to work somewhere else. You can overhear the doctor in the background handling his personal ordeals WHILE the patients are in the room waiting, with crying, sick babies. The way he treats his female staff is just ridiculous. NO RESPECT at all! You call the office and they dont answer or they claim they will call you back and they dont. His patient overload is just ridiculous, there has to be someone, somewhere that can report this...Im thinking that is why Alicea left the practice and went to another location. I think its completely disrespectful to be paying for a service and they take advantage of you....As a parent, I have removed both of my kids from this location and we have gone elsewhere where we are treated with respect and understanding.

The staff is horrible!!!!!!!!! And its getting worse!!!!! They never checked my daughters insurance made me switch n then come to find out they did take it! It def seems like he overbooks! I hear the doc tell the staff what to do for my baby n they did half of that! They have no personality, the front desk staff are rude! The scheduling is ridiculous I think he would get better reviews if he had a good staff but in 6.5years it has not changed. If he wasnt a good doc I wouldnt go but I am def looking into other doctors at this point just so I dont have to deal with his office anymore! Im so done!!!!! They dont answer their phone a lot of the time! And when I was waiting they never explained the referral process and said it takes up to a week and a half. I sat around waiting on the phone in the parking lot for over 20 minutes before they finally answered my call to let me know that because once I got out and loaded my baby in the car I didnt want to have to reload in the heat. If I dont receive it I will add to this post or post another to update!!!!!! I would go elsewhere if you truly r looking for a doctor for your kids!!
