Lake Nona Family Dentistry are frauds! They will scam you, and will even go so far as to effectually forge your signature and alter your records! Dont be fooled by their fancy office and nice staff, they are only nice until they have done illegal things, and then when you confront them they get nasty! They tried to upsell me on two crowns I didnt need. I made an appointment for one of them, because I didnt fully understand the procedure since they didnt fully explain it to me, and declined it for the tooth that did not have a confirmed problem. Half way through the procedure I find out, after they are numbing me for the 4th time, that my extreme pain is because they are removing the inlay on the tooth I declined to have worked on! Dr. Ahmed arbitrarily decided half way through the procedure to work on a different tooth that he claimed had a sever fracture, but that he never told me had a fracture, and he did not tell me he was going to work on it, or get my permission! They also did not tell me that he could replace the inlay once I found out that they had already drilled it out. So I felt forced to let them finish putting the crown on it so I wouldnt leave with a half exposed tooth! When we confronted them about it, and asked for a refund for the work, they did illegally, they tried to blame me, and refused to refund us for what they did. Then I asked for my records and they wouldnt give me them "until the Dr. signs off on them" which should have already been done. When I get the records in the mail, they have fraudulently edited them to make it look like that they got my permission for the work they did, changing the notes to sound like the Dr. Ahmed told me everything before hand, which was a lie, and they even changed the # of the tooth on the permission slip that I signed, so that they effectually forged my signature! Wish I had researched them more, and that Id recorded everything that was said and taken pictures of everything I signed!

I do not recommend this place. I used to work in the field. We as professionals have to verify your insurance, to make sure you are covered and for what you are covered for before you set foot in the back. These people led me to think I was covered for the services they rendered. My insurance had changed (per my employer) and they did not check, they went with old information I had provided the previous year. Then a few weeks later send me a bill for hundreds of dollars, to my surprise. I have insurance. If I would have known I wasnt covered at their office, I would have gone somewhere else. They just want your money no matter what. Poor customer service. The excuse they gave me was "those people are no longer with us" which is a lie because the one lady that said it was the one that handled my case from day one. You can even tell their reviews suck and that they themselves put good reviews after bad ones to pump up their rating. I know the trick.

Billing is Terrible! You are told you will have to pay one price and then you pay that price and still receive a bill in the mail. The staff is friendly. However, it is unfortunate that you go in circles with the bills. In my case I was told the staff would obtain a pre-payment approval from the insurance prior to my daughters visit to confirm how much the insurance would cover and once that was obtained, the staff could "fight with the insurance if they decided to pay anything less." False! because I still received a bill after the pre-payment approval was obtained - after I paid my over $100 patient portion in the office. Never going back again. Again, not because the staff isnt friendly because they will kill you with kindness, but simply because I dont like being lied to. p.s. the reason the office has not disappointed Kelsey (reviewer below) is because she is the office manager there.

I wish I would have read the other reviews before wasting my time. They entered my phone number down wrong, so cancelled my appt when they couldnt get ahold of me at the wrong number. Then all the extra added costs??? who ever heard of meeting with the dentist without the hygenist, then having to schedule an appt for a hygenist exam, only to determine if you have to come back a third time for a cleaning? Seriously??? then the Dentist sprays air twice and says all looks good, when I can visually see a cavity below the gum line. Great visual!!! And whenever Ive had an exam they look at the gums too, but to charge an extra cost to look at the gums for a quick scan for abnormalities? Thats bull!! Dont waste your time, seems like they just want to charge you and not have your best dental health interests first!! If I could I would give them NO STARS!!

Horrible Place, No costumer Service Just Money This place, all they care about is making MONEY, I went there for ongoing treatment, cause of treatment plan that was set for me. However, I was shocked after they told me that in order to keep going on the treatment, the doctor has to do an exam again for $83, I told her well, I am here for extraction, this is not my first visit, its my 3rd visit. and she said in order to keep going the doctor has see you again, I said thats fine he can do that but why he has to charge me. So I walked away, and guess what nobody cares or even bother to give a call inquiring about what happened. the price of extraction is more than $83, even in business ways they lost like $400 over $83. so ridiculous. I will never go back again nor recommend that palce.

Made an appointment as new patient. They called to confirm, left me a voicemail with no business name, no return phone number ( I later found out this was them). Having over 10 appointments for the week...I dont have time to figure out which knucklehead doesnt know how to leave a proper message. They called again, this time with a return number and name which I called back.... and it rang with no answer, no way to leave a message. Day of appointment they called to reschedule my appointment because they were "unable" to confirm. How about you get competent people who know how to leave a voicemail and have a working number or way for clients to leave messages if you cannot answer calls!! Lost my business. Theyre reviews are not good anyway.

Avoid at all costs!! Spent more Tim trying to pitch my wife Invisalign even though she doesnt need it than actually looking at her teeth! Eventually suggested some treatment to which my wife got advice from our Doctor she should not have done unless essential while she is pregnant we told the dentist this and when my wife went back for another follow up appointment they tried to do the treatment anyway! Luckily we were switched on enough to realize what was going on! They then proceeded to try and charge us for the treatment! Overall terrible customer service and not a nice experience!
