OVER CHARGED & FAILED TO EDUCATE ON PRICING. they "ASSUME YOU KNOW" Went in to a get a exam and cleaning. When asked if anything had to come out of my pocket, they said no insurance covers it in full. They decide to bill my insurance $280 for a freaking cleaning and 4 bitewings. Then i get letter in the mail stating my insurance didnt want to pay the full amount so i had to pay $65 out of pocket?!?!?! Who the heck charges so much for a cleaning and exam that insurance doesnt want to cover it. They told me after I called and complained about the charges that, they are not in relation with my insurance company and that their rates are different when before my appointment they told me everything is covered and that nothing would be out of pocket. The dentist was friendly, but the staff has a huge attitude problem, is very unfriendly and rude.

I never thought I would say this but I had the best dental experience at Lake Nona Dental Group. I ended up at this dental office after a terrible experience with another dentist. I needed to get fitted for a crown a.s.a.p. and was amazed that everything was done in my first appointment (x-rays, temporary crown removed, new mold for crown taken, crown was created at the office in less than an hour and new crown fitted). Dr. Matthew Yantorni was extremely professional and explained the whole process to me. He was gentle with my mouth (amen) and made me feel very comfortable. His dental assistant was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was so pleased with everything that I ended up booking an appointment for a cleaning.

Charged me $250 more than they quoted. Claimed it was a SMALL oversight on their end. Really? $250 dollars is a small oversight? What if I underpaid my bill by $250 dollars and said it was a small oversight? I went in to get a root canal and was quoted to get the work done. From the quote, I decided I would go ahead and get it done. It was expensive but we cut back and made room in our budget. After it was finished they gave me a bill that was $250 more than I was quoted. Apparently, they only gave me a quote for the root canal and not for putting the filling in which is a necessary part of the whole procedure. Why would they not give me a quote for everything they were going to do? Kinda like a mechanic, I guess.

It is always a great experience at Lake Nona Dental Group. The front office staff is always friendly, diligent, helpful and flexible with meeting my schedule needs. The back of the office staff are always smiling, knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Montijo has hands of an angel! I always hated visited the dentist because the experiences I had in the past were that dentists would be very careless and unsympathetic about pain and how they treat you when performing work in such a sensitive area, your mouth! Dr. Montijo is very careful and his work is flawless! He is very personable and cares about his patients! He has patients for life with my family! Thank you Lake Nona Dental Group for being great!

Exactly what you would imagine a Dentist Office Utopia to be. In all seriousness, they blew away my expectations. I felt like I stepped threw the gates and entered a new realm, one that I didnt know existed in the dentist world. Everyone was super friendly, their office looked amazing, even the shots didnt hurt nearly as much as previous dentist offices. There wasnt one thing that I would have changed. It was perfect, even after shots and having a crown replaced. These guys have their stuff together, which is a rare find in todays society. These guys are on Top of their game. Great Job Guys.

My daughter and I have gone to this practice for several years. We both love Dr.Matt. Everyone in the office is caring and patient -from the office staff filing paperwork to the hygienists at cleanings. Riley has had braces. She was excited to get them and 15 months later she was excited to get them off. Meanwhile she has perfect beautiful teeth. I have sleep apnea and grind my teeth. I have had my broken front teeth replaced and they are beautiful (even if they are mine) and I have a sleep apnea mouth guard that I couldnt imagine sleeping without. This is the best practice in Orlando!

Ive been to Dr. Montijo for 3 visits over the last 18 months. I have nothing but good things to say so far. The staff was friendly and knowledgable and they were good at communicating everything that was being done in a way that I could understand it, which I usually have a hard time with. I used to despise going to the dentist as my last dentist was stuck in the stone age, but this office is modern and definitely high-tech compared to the last one. My procedure was painless and there are TVs in the room which is distracting in a good way. Will definitely return.

Dr. Yantorni and his staff are amazing!I have always been very fearful of the dentist, but after getting a filling and a cleaning yesterday, I can honestly say I felt no pain. They went above and beyond to make the experience as comfortable as possible! The dental assistant was also fantastic and explained everything in detail as it was going on, and was more then happy to answer any questions. I cant say enough about the staff at the Lake Nona Dental Group. Highly recommend, I look forward to being a patient for years to come.

All the dentists, hygienists, and other staff are friendly enough. However, I did not feel entirely confident about their service. I went in for a night-time mouth-guard to eliminate snoring. The guard fit so snugly that it loosened a crown that had been done elsewhere less than two years prior, for which I had spent thousands of dollars. As a result, the root rotted and crown broke off. The dentist took no responsibility for the damage done by the mouth-guard. I will not go back. I much prefer Lee Vista Dental.

I have been going to Lake Nona Dental for about a year and a half and have had several procedures done, such as crowns, extracts, fillings, cleanings and now Invisalign. The staff is the best and is always willing to go the extra mile to work with you - I had a mix up with my appointment and they did everything they could to get me in earlier. I used to have extreme anxiety when it came to dental procedures but they have made my visits shorter and way more comfortable. Thank you, Lake Nona Dental!

My visit was very pleasant and comfortable. They took care of all the insurance forms, I just had to fill out some new patient forms. Dr. Montijo was friendly and gave me an overview of all the procedures I would need. My dental hygienist was thorough and consistently checked if I was feeling any discomfort during my cleaning. At the end of my visit the receptionist explained all the charges and which costs would be billed to my insurance. Highly recommend!

I look forward to going to the dentist after my years of going to Lake Nona Dental. The front desk receptionist call me by name, the hygienist is always gentle but thorough and the dentist is incredible. Always a nice smile, eager to listen and exceptional in his treatments especially for patients like me that are adult babies. Dentist run in my family and I go to these guys for the convenience, friendliness and exceptional way they handle their patients.
