While the nurse and the receptionist were very nice, and seemed to be very caring. I Took my dog in because he hadnt urinated in 24 hours. The Dr. came in, examined him, never really went over anything with me. The nurse came back in & said he was in critical condition & needed $2000 in surgery & treatments. I told her I didnt have that much money, and asked if we can do anything to get the cost down, they didnt even try to help, basically let me walk out the door without EVER TREATING A VERY SICK DOG. Not even an antibiotic. She also gave me a cost sheet to have him euthanized. I came home called another vet and took him to them. Their cost was about 1/3 of the $2000. But, he was already too far gone. He died. I am so heartbroken. I would NEVER take another one of my animals to them. Their motto is we love em like our own. I sure hope they treat their own better than they did mine.

Your staff is always willing to help me and Tomma. You all help with showing concern and helping me through the insurance process. Because of your help and guidance she is getting closer to receiving the treatment she needs to be healthy again. You are always friendly, especially Nicole when I call stressed about my kitty and I never feel talked down to. I feel my spirited cat, Tomma is in good hands even when she is upset, you all treat her with respect and care. Thank you, JT

We have taken our dogs here for 6 or 7 years, and have always been happy with the outcome. Routine visits are very reasonably priced, and the few times we have needed more urgent care it didnt break the bank. The staff is very friendly, and Dr. Nelson has always been very helpful with explaining things to us. Also, we have always been able to get an appointment quickly in the event of an emergency, which I really appreciate!

We had to have our beloved beagle "Newman" put down ...he was 24...yep 24 years old...they treated him with the upmost love and dignity. .. The was Oct 2 years ago... On this past Tuesday, we unexpectedly lost our cat Buster...they were very kind and honest about his prognosis...although not what I wanted to hear...I so appreciated the truth...very kind and professional...

This is the best veterinarian in Ormond Beach. I feel like the vet techs and receptionists really care about the pets. They try to work with you on the cost. Theyre probabkly not the cheapest vet, but theyre the best. I;ve been here many times and have not been disappointed.

Our first visit was informative and thankful to find Newmans and leave our former vet. I understand why the charges are so high but theres no reason to take advantage of caring parents off a furever pet. Thanks Newman Vet Staff
