The staff at the office is incompetent and does not communicate effectively. From billing to trying to get copies of medical records they give patients the run around. The only way to get things half accomplished is to go into the office, which even then you leave the issues unresolved. The staff will hide and avoid you. Leaving the doctor to do their work for them, Even thought he has patient in the room waiting for him. While the staff is trying to stay out of sight so they will not be bothered. Dont expect the office manger to call you back. She never will. I left many messages with no return call. A nurse once told me to go to the health department to get my son vaccinated after he was 8 months old with no vaccinations. We waited for 8 months and was told at each appointment that they will be in at our next visit. That was never true. The office never seemed to have the needed vaccinations. This is unfortunate because Dr. Goldstein is a great doctor and he really cares about his patients. He will always go above and beyond for them, but dealing with the staff there will make any person go crazy! Run very fast away from this place!! You will thank me.

This below was my review about 4 months ago. Upgrading review big time. Dr Goldstein is great as always and today everything went fine. Appointment was at 9am I was out by 9:45am after as typical he spent as much time with me as was needed, with no hurry. Looks like office appointment time management is under control. +++ review from July 2016 follows+++++ Dr Goldstein is great. When he finally gets to you he is very good and caring. However this office seems to be a mess. A visit through appointment is usually at least one hour behind. Ive had to wait as much as 2+ hours and when I walk up to receptionist to tell them how long Ive been waiting she mumbles to other nurses then comes back and says they understand. But nothing gets done. Ive had to call in to ask for lab work prescription because my visit is a week away and they havent given me a prescription. Then the day of the appointment you have to tell them the lab work should have arrived to go look for it. This visit today 4/27/16 was for 9am. I was out of the office at 10:15am which is very good by this offices typical. So Im happy today and raised the number of stars.

I have been seeing Dr. Goldstein for most of my life. He personally cares about every single patient that he has and takes his time with them. When it comes to doctors Dr. Goldstein and Palm Harbor Internal Medicine and Pediatrics is the best around. Him taking his time with patients sometimes means wait times but in todays world of 10 minute doctors, Dr. Goldstein is a diamond in the rough. Ill wait all day if I have to to see him.

I have called this Doctors office twice, months apart, and had to leave a message. I wanted to make an appointment. I have never received a return phone call. Actually, I have no idea as to the Doctors abilities; however, I do know that his staff is either rude or incompetent.

Dr. Gary is probably the most knowledgeable and more importantly the most compassionate physician I have ever come in contact with and being a pharmacist I’ve had contact with many, many physicians. Seeing him during my office visits is like being greeted by an old friend.

Dr Gary Goldstein is great, but no matter how much you beg and plead, the staff does not communicate the results of tests. and Im talking about routine blood work types of test. Very frustrating!!

Extremely attentive, fabulous staff, always returns my calls within an hour or less, caring, knowledgeable, highly recommended, do not know of another Dr who works 24/7 and is as dedicated as Dr. G
