Agape has always had nice staff, and Ive been coming to agape since getting stationed at Tyndall in 13. However, the last year+ they constantly have new employees. To me this is a sign of problems internally. It also creates longer wait times and more uncertainty when it comes to getting assistance. Dr. Hayden himself is always polite, but today I was charged $15 to clip the nails off of one paw of my 18lb dog. Thats $3.75 per nail, and it took 45 seconds to clip all 4 nails. Then $45 for a 5 minute office visit, and $35 for 9 dog pills that run approx $1.17 per pill on petmeds. So for a few pills, one paw clipped and a short office visit I spent $100. Thats nuts. Cost analysis comparison- analysis= $11 for meds, and lets just say labor for a good vet runs $100 an hour, in that case the 10min visit would cost roughly $17. Plus a few nails clipped maybe $5 max charge. Thats a should be total of $33. Comparison= a similar visit to a vet in Missouri ran me about $40-45 in Missouri tops, and that vet still made a profit. And yearly exam a few months ago and few vaccinations took 10min but cost $150 (was $50 in Missouri) (again 18lb dog). In short this vet is WAY over priced. Lastly AC at agape was also was either not working or barely on today. My dog panted and I was sweating without even moving. Not to mention pet hair was everywhere throwing my allergies all over her place. Granite it is a animal hospital so that part is kinda expected. But maybe if they had better continuity with employees keeping the pet hair everywhere under control might be easier. Not sure if I will return to agape. Hope this review helps other potential customers in choosing a pet doc in the future though.

The front desk is helpful but that is it for the good. I have used Agape for a while so I was trusting in them to take care of the blood work to have my animal shipped to Hawaii, especially since I paid them a hefty fee to take care of it. The laws in HI state that an animal can not be shipped until 120 days after the blood work or they must be quarantined if the 120 days are not up due to HI being a rabies free state. SO I had the blood work done and paid for it at the end of January so my dog could come when my parents are coming in June, after the 120 days. HOWEVER, I was told that Dr. Byas decided to never send the blood work off or call me to let me know that he no longer wanted to do it because it was "too much work." If I would not have called them myself to check on the process, I would have never known that they did not do it and they would have never refunded me. I now have to have someone redo the blood work and re-wait 120 days for my baby to join me. An unbelievably unprofessional experience.

The nurses at the front desk were extremely nice and friendly and made a big fuss over my dog. The care was good that they gave my animal. The main complaint I have is that the doctor there is extremely rude, disrespectful, and frankly, a major prick. When he asked me to tell him what the situation was of how my dog had been injured, he literally never let me finish one sentence the entire conversation. He didnt listen to anything I said (he heard what he wanted to hear) and constantly interrupted me so he could scold me. I found this puppy that had been hit 2 days ago on the side of the road only to be criticized for picking it up because it might have had rabies. He took 2 extra x-rays from the exact same side that were very obviously not necessary (charging me) and then told me there was nothing he could do unless he had $1,800 for an operation. It was so shifty and he was such a prick that Im going somewhere else tomorrow to get a second opinion. So much for "Agape"

The Vet was awesome and so accommodating. He answered any health issues or inquiry you have, not the type of Doc who just let his client go home unsatisfied. The clinic is so clean and smells very good not the perfumey smell but more on the fresh clean one.The cost of going there is practically affordable and you know that every penny you spend is all worth it.The vet attends to the need of the pet especially during emergency ,he doesnt mind staying the whole night there to take care of sickly pet as in attending to ones pet the whole night was really something. You are attended fast when you are there or even without an appointment the staff really squeeze you in for the pet to be seen. The staffs are accomodating and great too.KUDOS!

Without even steeping foot into this place i highly recommend them REASON:In a world where money is the only goal, this place was more then helpful over the phone when all others I had called (15others) said nothing but to come in =$$ The person who answered the phone clearly stated that (person speaking) was not the vet but help me in knowing what I was doing and needed to do, then added its always good to come in if you are unsure of yourself and the animal …..I helped my dog without going in and I had not 1 penny on me to spend. (They did not know that) Now, they will forever get my recommendation and business (WORD OF MOUTH MEANS EVERYTHING) just read the other vets reviews

Super awesome. I have an 11 year old cat and a 2 year old cat that went into the office together. They were both terrified until the doc came in. He immediately calmed them down and they were very comfortable. He spent a VERY long time just talking to me and relaxing them. They both had a ton of shots, bloodwork and other tests. Neither of them even seemed to mind what he was doing to them! Highly, highly recommend this gentleman to any pet that is timid. Surely a fellow who was meant to be a vet! The tech and receptionist were also awesome. Wouldnt ever go elsewhere again!!!!!!

I discovered a hit cat in the street in front of my house. I am an animal lover and this cat was still breathing... However, the emergency call service that they contract out to is not very good. I waited 2 hrs to get a call from the vet(even after calling the emergency service 3 times.) Sad to say the vet never got my message. I took the cat to the Vets when they opened in the morning, and they were very understanding and took care of everything. Price was great and discounted due to the cat being a stray. Vet clinic gets 5 stars from me. the emergency service gets 0 stars.

they get 5 stars from me i love that they really care about someones pets like they do back in September my dog was going into labor i was worried cause it was her first litter the lady that answered the phone was really nice and set my mind at ease just the other day i had to take one of the puppies to them and found out just how sick she was. Well she pasted away today and i called to let them know and they said that they was sorry to hear about it. They are a really good place to take your animals. So i will cont. to take my pets to them.
