Im giving it 2 stars because I didnt even make it in the door. This is mostly for the service I received over the phone and as a potential new patient. I called for a new patient appointment and I had to wait over a month for one, not uncommon nowadays, then ended up missing it because my 7 month old son was up and down all night until 5:30 am. I called to verify if I could make the appointment or not(I probably could have made it there 20 min after my scheduled time) and was told Id have to reschedule and I would be charged a $50 cancellation fee. That is the most Ive ever seen an office charge in my 28 years of life. I used to pay $60 out of pocket for a regular doctor and $80 for a specialist. I dont know how they think $50 is reasonable. Not to mention the fact that I am not an established patient, didnt know about the policy, and it was an unforeseen circumstance. I was told I could call their main finance line to see about getting it waived before rescheduling. The lady was beyond rude, and not understanding at all. So I told her to forget it and cancel my husbands appointment as well. They could have gotten business for a long time since my husband has asthma and allergies, and I have my medical issues as well. If you are looking for good patient/customer service then dont go here. Very disappointed as I had read good things about them in the past.

Very disatisfied with front office!!! My Primary Dr. Is being transferred to Family clinic in April and is a member of Florida hospital group! I have WellCare! I called your office and spoke to a very nice young lady and asked if your offices was taking WellCare any time soon since I have been with my Dr for 40 years and do not want to change and cant change my insurance until December starting January 2017. She said there is a WellCare that they do take and to bring my insurance card to the office which I did today. I barely opened my mouth and the receptionist cut me short that your office didnt take WellCare. Holding my temper, except for my eyebrows, I explained I was told to bring in my card to check. She finally showed my card to a women at the left computers as you walk in. She looked at the card didnt bother to check what I was told and said no. The reciptionist handed me a paper showing the insurances that the office does take. Last paragraph shows that you do not take WellCare except when it is attached to Medicare, which mine is. So to make my complaint even longer, if you Do Not take any WellCare Medicare advantage plans, then your office is correct, but they could have been more cordial about it. Even if I do change my insurance to a plan your office takes, I dont know if I would change to a Drs office that had a less than cordial staff.

When calling to make an appointment was told the doctor has moved to another location, Wesley Chapel and I would have to call that location to make an appointment. You would think they would call the doctors patients and let them know if this change or at least send a routine letter. Why would someone who lives in South Riverview go to Wesley Chapel for a routine doctors visit. Then I was told that they have to "transfer" me to one of the other doctors which could take a couple of days. How hard can it be.

Dr. Dawson is by far the best doctor at this location in my opinion. Shes up front and honest with you. If its not good for your health or well being, she will be sure to give her opinion. Been with her for around 7 years. She is a MD and a DO. A DO stands for Doctor of Osteopathy. Im generally able to get in promptly with her and be treated.

I have been going here for years to see Dr. Cheeseman. It was great until they were bought out by Florida Medical Clinic. Now I cant get an appointment or, if I do get one later in the afternoon, they cancel it because they may not have a patient between say 2 and 6. ...so they close and head home at 2. ...some patient care.

This is the worst doctor/patient experiences I have ever encountered. I have been now four times because the location is convenient but now willing to drive farther to visit a company who cares. Prepare to wait 45 to 90 minutes past your scheduled appointment time and then be rushed through the assembly line.

The front office staff is wonderful. The Doctor however was quite insistent on ordering many tests that I just had done in November by my primary care. I asked who does their blood work and of corse it is in house. I will not return to this office as i get the impression it is profit driven.

I have been seeing Dr. Dawson for over 10 years now and dont want to change. I drive about 45 minutes from Palm Harbor so I can continue to use her for my primary care. She is very knowledgeable and professional.

Hate it now and will NEVER go back! Theyve gotten greedy and do not care about patients at all, only money. Do not go here, find a friendlier practice that actually cares about your health

My whole family, all our lives. No better doctors anywhere nor any that care more. My many thanks for everything through all our medical needs and emergencies.
