Went there on Sunday 12/5/16 for knee pain. First of all, the assistants were not presentable. Their scrubs looked "weathered" and one of them had dirty finger nails. "I should have left at that point", but due to the fact they had a 4.7 rating over other facilities, I decided to stay and pay a co-pay of $70. One of the assistants took my blood pressure and temperature and put me into a room to wait for the doctor. She came in and informed me she was a "Dr. Practitioner", at the time I didnt know what that meant. She examined me and told me that I needed to get a MRI and she wrote me a prescription for pain. Well, I get to the pharmacy to pick up the medication "Tramadol" and the pharmacist informs me that this medication causes drowsiness. I immediately called them to inform them I needed something that would not make me drowsy due to the fact I have to work. I was told that it doesnt affect everyone in that way but I could get over the counter advil or ibuprofen, which defeats the purpose of having something prescribed. I did take the Tramadol on Sunday and I was nauseated over half the day at work on Monday. At that point I was frustrated. On Tuesday I get a call from Stephanie to see how I was doing, I told her that the medicine made me sick, she told me she will speak with the Dr. about changing my prescription and call me back. Which she never did. I called on Wednesday and was told they could prescribe me tylenol with codeine and nausea medication or I could come in on Thursday to see the Dr. Well, due to the fact the "Practitioner" could not prescribe anything stronger than the tylenol, I would have to pay another $70 to see the "Real Dr." to prescribe anything stronger. I think this is ridiculous because, if that was the case, i would have went somewhere that I could have seen a Dr. to prescribe me the medication I needed. This place is horrible!!!! I will never go back!!!! Too bad I cant give them a Zero!!!!! Let me add this.... they gave me a MRI referral, and when I called my insurance company to get it approved, they told me that Express Care should have turned in the information, so when I call them they tell me I have to go thru my primary doctor. None of this was explained to me when i went. Very imcompetent!!

The medical staff is competant so no worries there. The wait to see the physician seemed long considering there were very few patients there to be seen. What prompted a poor review is that they made me pay the full visit price when I came in when all I should hve been charged was a $6 copay. They then filed my insurance and got their reimbursement and I am still waiting after 3 months for them to reimburse me $242 when they said that it would take them 6-8 weeks to issue a refund. When I called to enquire why I have not yet received the refund, I was told they would message their main office and I should get the refund in another 3 weeks and that if I didnt get it then, I could call and speak to a manager. When I asked to be transferred to a manager because this is already far too long to wait for a refund, I was put on hold and then transferred to an automated voicemail system. REALLY??? This is unacceptable! I wont be going back.

Do yourself a favor and stay away!!!! Wasted $50 on a copay just for the doctor to tell me to go to the ER. I had to argue to get her to take an X-Ray here even though I called in prior to coming and told them my situation! She does not seem confident in anything she says, not to mention she said they dont have the ability to do much here anyways. Why have an urgent care that cant handle urgent matters!? Seems like a money making scheme to me. -Jessica

Very nice people there. Personable. The doctor was so friendly and nice. He listened to my grandaughter and me, and did what worked best for her. Awesome. Wish he had an office somewhere, that accepts my grandaughters insurance. He would be her doctor! He had the best personality, Ive ever seen in a doctor. Loved him.

I love this place a lot. Staff and doctors are very professional. I have visited apollo beach location too but this new location is more convenient. All doctors here are very professional and considerate. I just walk in anytime and gets the best care in no time.

The office was not busy and I was seen fairly quickly. This was my second visit as the medication first prescribed did not clear up my throat infection. The PA, Kerrie Ford, prescribed another antibiotic. The medical staff are all very helpful and courteous.

I have no idea how they have almost five stars DO NOT go here. Rude staff lady at the front desk is so rude. The doctors assistant was dumb as a rock didnt know anything and also sent me to the wrong pharmacist when they know Im in crucial pain
