Learned about Bright Smiles when we were attending the open house for Bartram Academy which is near our home. Thought wed give it a try since my son was nearing 2 years old and needed to get his teeth checked. Took my son to his 1st dentist appt at Bright Smiles and even though he was scared it was a great experience for myself and my son. Kids at that young age at times cant distinguish between the Pediatric Dr visits vs the Pediatric Dentist, so he immediately went stiff and became upset upon entering the dentist chair (thinking he will get shots). Dr. Matt was soooo patient with my son and throughout the appointment was calm & comforting. Ill be honest I was stressed because my son was stressed, but seeing how Dr. Bright takes time with the patient and calm them was very reassuring. We came back again at the 6 month check up and Dr. Matt was still wonderful at calming my son down and helping him to understand that there would be no shots and we would just be cleaning & looking at his teeth. When you walk in to the clinic it is very welcoming - theres kid space with toys for the kids and comfy chairs. When you enter the working dentistry space it is open and you can have your child lay down on the chair & there are tv monitors on the ceiling. At the end of the appointment your child is given a good bag and a coin to insert in the toy/candy machine where he/she gets a treat. Subtle things like this helps to reinforce that the dentist is a good place and not to be afraid, my son enjoys the end of his appointment haha. I cannot express how great this practice is especially for first time patients and parents of little ones. The patience & knowledge of Dr. Matt and their caring staff members made an impact for me choosing this practice. Plus if you have any questions after hours they are quick to return your call and offer help...plus they follow up a few days later to see if your child is doing well. Now thats excellent service!! Highly recommend Bright Smiles to every parent and child, you wont be disappointed! Best "Doctor Visit" you will encounter in your childs lifetime.

We went today for my daughters first cleaning and check up. Dr. Matt was great with her. Explained everything he was going to do to keep her calm and relaxed. There is a TV set up above the exam chairs for the kids to watch while he cleans their teeth. A very clean play area while parents fill out paperwork. The environment is very kid oriented, clean, and just a fantastic friendly office overall. Thank you for such a great experience for a 3 year old, she cant wait to come back!

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Matt! My two boys had a very traumatic experience with their last dentist and Dr. Matt was so friendly he made them both feel calm and not so upset! My oldest has a heart condition and he called his cardiologist to make sure everything he used was ok before he had his dental work done! His previous dentist never did that!! His wife was also so very kind and did everything to accommodate our crazy schedule! Highly recommended!!!

Dr. Bright is amazing! My children love him and seeing the dentist is fun and exciting. He is very knowledgeable, compassionate and patient. He is easy to talk to and does everything he can to help parents make dental care for their children easy. He has educated my children and taught them to care about their dental health and have fun doing it. We are so glad we chose him for our pediatric dental needs!

Dr. Matt is amazing. I brought my 2 kids in for a cleaning and he discovered 2 early stage cavities that their previous dentist missed. He worked my daughter in right away to take care of these issues before they got worse. He is wonderful with the kids and found a time slot that meant the kids didnt have to miss school. The drive from Ponte Vedra Beach was easy and well worth it!! Thank you Dr. Matt!

Dr. Bright and his staff are wonderful! It is so obvious that they care for young children and go out of their way to make their dental experience a fun one. Dr. Bright was so thorough with his exam and explaining the process. He made sure my daughter was always comfortable. They even went out of their way dealing with my insurance company. I would highly recommend Dr. Bright!

In our year and a half of going to Dr. Bright we had one dental emergency, they accommodated us the same day. Dr. Bright was so helpful as I was very nervous due to us traveling that week. They even followed up to check on my son. Anytime we are there we never feel rushed or like another appointment that day, Dr. Bright and his staff are always attentive and professional.

Dr. Bright was so patient with Audrey! She was nervous at the dentist, but did he did an awesome job of talking to her and making her comfortable. She had to have work done on a front tooth, which still looks amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Bright! Heres a little before and after (Audrey is 3)
