I have been a client at Capital Circle Veterinary Hospital for six years and I could not be happier with my experience! Both the veterinarians and the staff at CCVH demonstrate an incredible amount of compassion for animals. My dog is very anxious and the individuals at CCVH always do whatever they can (e.g., conduct her examination on the floor, pet her for a few minutes before starting the examination) to make her feel safe and comfortable. My dog also suffers from allergies. After her first allergy flare up as a patient at CCVH, the veterinarians introduced me to several long-term treatment options that could greatly alleviate her discomfort. (This was after four years with another vet who never mentioned such treatments, despite persistent flare ups.) Although there is no “cure” for allergies, she now leads a generally comfortable life, with only the occasional flare up. The veterinarians and staff are always very patient with my questions and very prompt in providing me with an appointment when needed. It is also worth noting that I am a student on a tight budget and the individuals at CCVH have always been considerate of this fact when helping me weigh the pros and cons of different courses of action. They even offer a multiple-pet discount which has been great since we welcomed a new kitten into our family last summer. They also offer a boarding service (the Fritz). When I board my animals, it is great to know that I am leaving them with such competent and kind individuals. CCVH is truly exceptional!

I have been using CCVH since the mid 90s and my mother used CCVH farther back than that. The vet staff is exceptionally compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. The entire office is always there not only for the pets, but also for the owners. They have always been there for my pets and me from the simple checkup, to the darkest times (when its time for a pet to leave). My favorite times is when I call the office and talk with Jaimie. She is so sweet and always does so much for me and my four legged kids. It amazes me, that even when she is crazy busy with the phones ringing off the hook, patients checking in and out, and having staff come up to talk to her about something, she is always make you feel like you have her undivided attention. As for the rest of the staff, the docs and vet techs are top notch. They take time to make sure your bundle of fur is well cared for, no matter the situation that brings you into the office. The doctors provide you with all the information you need to make the best decision for your pets. This will always and forever be the veterinary that I will take my animals to. Thank you to all of you for your amazing commitment to the CCHV family!!

Dr. Luke Blanton has operated on two of my dachshunds this year. One had mid back surgery for a disc problem and was completely down in the hindquarters before surgery; Dr. Blanton returned from a trip out-of-town and came in on a Saturday to do the evaluation and surgical procedure. The other surgery was a cervical disc rupture that caused severe spinal cord compression, and Dr. Blanton arranged to see that dachshund quickly as well. Both dachshunds are doing very well - one is recovered after 6 months (but walked on all fours after a few weeks) and the other is still recovering but walking fairly well on all fours after only 18 days. The aftercare received was fantastic, with Dr. Blanton personally calling to check on each. If you have a pet who is showing signs of spinal injury, I highly recommend Dr. Blanton to evaluate and perform surgery. The cost of surgery may seem high (around $2,000) but worth every penny if you have a beloved pet in need. The staff is wonderful as well -- very courteous, caring and responsive. I wish all of my personal medical experiences went this well!

My standards and expectations are very high when it comes to the care of my 4 dogs and 2 cats. Capital City Veterinary Hospital consistently exceeds those standards and expectations! The staff and doctors provide excellent service in a professional, friendly and economical manner. Jaimie the receptionist is warm, friendly, efficient and goes out of her way to be accommodating. She gives an excellent first impression and represents the excellence you can expect from the rest of the staff. Dr. Weldon is an outstanding vet and I know my pets are getting the best care possible. I am very thankful she is my vet and I trust and value her.

Capital Circle Vet is the only place Ill trust with my animals. My family has brought all of our pets here since my mother moved to Tallahassee. The veterinarians are incredibly knowledgeable and if they dont know something they will do research to find it out for you. Jaimie is the best, Ive never met a kinder person. She genuinely cares about the people and animals walking into the facility and she does her best to make sure that they are taken care of and happy. As a dog trainer, I fully trust this staff with my animals be it a working dog or a pet. I recommend them highly to my clients and friends of family.

Giving one star because we liked the vet we saw for our dog. The vet we saw for our cats was a horrible experience. Charging $5 to copy records for both cats and $16 to clip nails. Complete rip off. Never had a vet charge for those things. We wanted the vet to look at our cats chin. Vet barely looked at it and then proceeded to give medicine without talking about options or price. Over all did not like the way they handled our animals. Just seemed like they wanted to charge us and get us out the door and not having the interest of our animals in mind. Thanks for a horrible experience will be looking elsewhere.

This place is amazing!! From the first encounter with Jamie at the front desk to the visit with the vet, you are instantly part of the CCVH family. Every time I call or come in to pick up food, Jamie greets me with the brightest smile (you can hear it on the phone as well). She treats the animals and animal parents with so much love. Dr Weldon has treated my two cats for years. One has special needs and anytime I have questions or problems she will go out of her way to help. Cant imagine taking them anywhere else!

I have had the pleasure of working with Jaimie for 10 years while my "fur babys" have been patients at CCVH, and most recently Dr. Weldon, as well. I have always found them both to be professional, honest & most importantly, friendly. They helped me down an inevitable road earlier this year, and I appreciate everything they did for my baby. I could not have done it without their support! They continue to provide a calming, cheerful smile for the one I have left & for me! Thank you for all you do!!

I am unsure about the staff that works with the animals; however, when I called the office, the woman who answered was quite unfriendly when I inquired about cost. Taking care of pets is expensive and I dont think its crazy to call and ask about check up and shot costs. Maybe she can work with animals but she should definitely consider working on her people skills if she will be the voice of a business such as this.
