been taking my animals to dr. barsch since mid 2000s. he has treated 5 of my animals. he is very knowledgeable, conservative in treatment, gives thorough explanations, doesnt push treatments, reasonably priced, attentive, compassionate, etc. he is so good that even though we moved to melbourne from tampa, we will continue to take our fur babies to him. one of our cats recently and suddenly got very ill. we took her to a local vet who was HORRIBLE to us. i ended up faxing all the test results to dr. barsch, he reviewed & called me, and told me what was going on with our cat, prescribed an additional med that should have been prescribed by local vet, and our cat is doing much better. i highly recommend him.

Dr. Barsh and staff saw my dog about two weeks ago for a bowel problem that was diagnosed as a hernia. They kept him there for a few hours, flushed him out , showed me how to assist him in managing his issue and right where to apply pressure when he poos so he can relieve himself . They also worked with me on payment issues, did not perform any unnecessary tests or treatments, and gave me honest quotes for treatments should my pet need future attention. My dog is doing fine and I am very thankful. Great Dr and freindly staff.

We took our yellow lab in for obedience classes at this place and the lady yanked our dogs neck, to get her to mind, so hard that our dog was lifted off the ground.This ended up making our dog go blind and now she has lost all rear leg movement. There are better ways to train dogs than yanking their necks to make them mind. No wonder she states in the contract that she is not liable if something happens to your pet!!!! Pet abuse, be aware!!

Took my pup to another vet that was closer to home for skin issues. After $1000 worth of bills and not feeling like they had any idea of what was going on i took him to Dr Barsch. He told me the dog was bored and licking and to sign him up for classes. Within a week of classes the skin started clearing! Too bad I wasted all that money with the other vet! Dr Barsch is awsome!!

Old school vet with a modern touch! A friend recommended Dr B, so I took in two of my dogs for a routine visit. I found his "bedside" manner to be calm and knowledgeable, and neither he nor the staff pushed any unnecessary services. Definitely a great find and he earned my business!

Dr. Was on point with what was wrong with our 7 month old puppy. The visit was very affordable compared to others around. He wasnt with testing that wasnt needed. He didnt push for extra test like other clinics. Hes staff was quite no problems. We will be seeing him from now on.

There is lots of staff turn over and there is bad attitudes with staff. I do not recommend, nor would I trust my pet going there. There are other veterinarians offices out there that are managed much more efficiently, with cheerful attitudes, and with much more common sense.

I love Dr Barsch. I have been coming here since 1999. He is very caring and competent. I trust no one more. I admit his front desk peeps sometimes left something to be desired, however the new girls are very nice.

The technicians faces are always changing! It makes me wonder what kind of office they run if people are leaving so often. And waiting three days for prescription refills is absurd!
