I transferred the care of my eight dogs to Northtowne Animal Clinic about 3-1/2 years ago. After 30+ years with a Columbus-area veterinary hospital it was a well-researched and thought out decision. One dog had cancer and several others had chronic health conditions requiring frequent continuing care. I wish I had transferred years earlier. Dr Herrick is an outstanding, thorough, compassionate vet who treats each of my dogs as if they were his own. His close and respected relationship with MedVet specialists affords my dogs the best care possible. His staff have gone above and beyond each and every time we see them. As clients of this clinic it is not possible for any of us to see the inter-office relationships. A sign of a well-run office is that we only see professional actions. But I realize, as a former human resources administrator, that sometimes difficult decisions need to be made to maintain a professional and respectful work atmosphere within the office. I have no doubt my dogs will continue to receive the same outstanding treatment from highly experienced (20+ years) and registered staff. I will continue to proudly recommend this clinic to everyone.

After our cat Dweezle aka Bubba Kitty, came into the house limping and howling, like i have never heard an animal howl, we contacted Northtowne Animal Clinic, they got us in right away, and did X-Rays, only to discover that one of our wonderful neighbors had actally shot him with a pellet gun, pellet still (and is still) wedged in his muscles, breaking his femur. The staff was very kind, and helpful, and loving to our Bubba Kitty. He had to have a rod placed in his leg, and stitches and a cone, but he is doing amazing, (he is the kitty in the pictures striking a sexy model pose, :) ) He still has a long recovery to go, he is taking his time with using his leg, but i feel he will have a pretty much full recovery after his healing is done. THANK YOU NORTHTOWNE!!! and BUBBA KITTY thanks you too!!

Everyone should know there are always two sides to a story and there are always many, many sides to people. Just because you saw one side of a person does not mean you saw every side. Chad Herrick practices hands down PHENOMENAL veterinary medicine. He always has your pets best interest and best health at heart. He practices best medicine and practices through his love and passion for veterinary medicine. He is one of the most intelligent veterinarians I have ever met and I say that whole heartedly. If you choose to leave his practice because a technician was let go for reasons you are unaware of, that is absolutely your loss and a huge loss to your pet.

The final day of my Black Lab Beau was terribly difficult, but was made easier by the care, compassion, and professionalism of one of your employees. She made an awful day a little more bearable. I have come to find out that she is no longer with the company. This is a shame, she was outstanding with every animal I have ever seen her with, not just my mine. With your only educated tech no longer with you, I do not know how you can expect to offer your customers the same service and quality experience they have come to expect. With an office full of secretaries now I guess at least we can expect the paperwork to be good.

I have met plenty of caring vets, but Northtowne Animal Clinic absolutely tops them all. The staff is knowledgeable, prices are reasonable and the facility is spotless, but what I like even more about them is that they genuinely LOVE your pet. They dont just "care", but go an extra step to make your pet comfortable. A warm blanket is always available and often provided without you having to ask. They help you to make the right decision for your pet without pushing an agenda. I can not recommend them highly enough. Thank you, Northtowne Animal Clinic for all you do!

Dr. Herrick is wonderful, absolutely wonderful! I thoroughly trust him with my pets! However, a huge part of my love for Northtowne is Corinna! She is the sweetest, most caring and compassionate vet tech i have ever met! I got wind of her being let go! I have to say, I am very disappointed! I know several other people who bring their pets to your clinic! A huge part of the reason they love it there is because of Corinna! I think letting her go was a huge mistake!

Dr Herrick is a great veterinarian. However I am completely devastated that Corinna was let go!! She is the best and only registered vet tech in the office!! She was so good with my dogs and they trust her. My animals have been clients there for almost 10 years but it makes it a little hard to want to go back after losing someone as professional and compassionate as Corinna. I think a huge mistake was made in letting her go and she needs to come back!!!!!!

Thought it was a great place.. until you let Corinna go. An employee with you for 10 years and this is how she is treated? We will never come back. Loyalty stays with the ones who are loyal to us. ..and that would be Corinna. Sad that after all her loyalty you can do that to her. The people bringing our pets in there only because Corinna was there will no longer be coming back. The biggest mistake you could have made...

Amazing staff. They took such good care of my puppy and they were super affordable. Only $80 for her first visit, exam, trimmed her nails, gave her shots, her heart worm preventive and I even got a free nexguard flea preventive. Everyone told me how pretty and well behaved she was and they were very gentle with her. Will definitely be taking my cats here as well

Let me bring my dog in after we removed a tick. They were booked but told me they could squeeze me in between other visits. I was there about 15 minutes, the staff was very friendly and took care of my dog. Because of the minor severity and little work for what was done, they didnt even charge me! I highly recommend this clinic, give them a chance!

The vet is super honest, compassionate and listens to all concerns. They dont rush you and are always there to answer questions. All the staff is super friendly and the facility is spotless! The prices for vet service are reasonably priced. Most of all they all love your animal!

Ive brought my cat Figaro to North Town Vet Clinic a few times now, everyone is always so friendly & helpful. They even have a cat named Hannah who roams around in the waiting room & shes so sweet! Im glad that Ive got a Vet that I trust will take care of my Figaro!

Extremely genuine, caring staff. Dr. Herrick is a very honest and caring vet and the way he runs his office is proof of that. Ive never had an animal clinic compare to them in terms of professionalism, cleanliness, and above all else, compassion and caring.

Great staff. One of my girls broke her claw, at the quick, digging in the yard. It was bleeding pretty bad at first. They fit us in, even though they were clearly busy. I feel like they truly love and care for my girls, were not just a client.
