Im not quite sure what I expected when I walked through the front door, but from that moment on, any preconceived ideas or notions were blown away! If not for the giant metal cages, one might even think they were in a spa! Very tranquil and serene! I had recently undergone spinal fusion, and after 2 months of basically doing nothing, I was more than eager to get the healing process started! What an amazing facility! And, even more amazing therapists! Mary, the office manager (Quite amazing herself), has assembled a wonderful staff! Unlike other facilities (Holy Cross Hospital), here you will be treated as an individual. Each therapy session is one on one and with the same therapist every time. I was first given a comprehensive evaluation. It was explained to me that although I was recovering from spinal fusion, my entire body would be treated. I have experienced treatment on my scar tissue, the use of essential oils, and laser therapy as well as variations on acupuncture techniques. This, in combination with very traditional weights, pulleys, tension bands. After little more than 3 weeks I feel like a new person. I have suffered from scoliosis my entire life and my therapist Laine has me almost aligned for the first time in my life! My neck and shoulders feel great and I feel my range of motion, returning rapidly. I am so grateful to have discovered this hidden gem! If you ever find yourself in need of this type of service, do yourself a favor and RUN to Ocean Physical Therapy!!

I have been receiving therapy at Ocean Therapy for a couple of years. I have ongoing back, neck and gut issues, and they have helped me tremendously. When I started going there, I could barely stand, it hurt too much. Over time, they have worked with me to "peel back the onion" ~ the layers of organs, muscle, tendons (and fat) that got out of synch. They recently moved to Wilton Manor, and the new offices are really nice. I had abdominal surgery in Feb, and am receiving great assistance with working my core back up to strength. The exercises are great, with a lot of attention to detail. Because Im hypermobile, I tend to compensate and not do all I can do, so I appreciate the close attention. I continue to have a great experience at Ocean Therapy. I go in a relaxing room with music, and receive cranio-sacral and vascular (gut) massage /healing touch. Ive gotten progressively better, and have been able to cut back on my appts. The staff is very warm, kind and friendly. They work on / with a variety of conditions, including people with severe brain damage and muscular dystrophy. I feel fortunate that my issues are comparatively minor. There are not many PT clinics like this one -- its not just about exercising, but getting your body ready to have the exercises make that much more of a difference. Im grateful that I have this service available to me.

When I told a friend that I would need therapy for rotator cuff surgery, he recommended Ocean Therapy Center. I wasnt disappointed. From my first contact with Mary on the phone to farewell hugs 18 sessions later, I was cared for by a professional, knowledgeable, and observant staff. Juliettas intake interview immediately put me at ease. When I met Ivan, his initial observation was, "We are going to work on your posture." Improving my posture went hand in hand with strengthening my arm and increasing my range of motion. Micro-current Point Stimulation and Laser helped my body to heal itself. When Ivan was on vacation, Staisha continued with treatments Ivan had used as well as massage to release tension in neck and back muscles. Both at home and in therapy sessions, I did strengthening and stretching exercises. On my last day I told Mary that I would miss her appointment reminder phone calls. Her response was to invite me to stop by anytime to have coffee or just to say hi. That is the kind of place Ocean Therapy Center is. The staff genuinely cares about its patients both during and after treatment. I couldnt have chosen a better place.

Julietta Wenzel is the most caring and professional physical therapist I know. I was in a terrible car accident back in January of 2015 and could barely walk. I was diagnosed with 3 herniated disks and occipital neuralgia. The first physical therapist that I went to, did nothing but aggravate my pain. Most of my hour long appointments were spent putting ice and heat on the injured area. I can do that at home and do not need to go to them for that. I had no hope and did not believe in physical therapy until I went to Julietta. She never wasted a minute on things that I could do at home. Her therapy techniques were effective. I would never be back to normal without Julietta’s help. Her knowledge and techniques gave me a second chance in life and today I live my life pain free. Mary, who is the office manager, is wonderful and is always willing to help. I could not thank Julietta and her staff enough for everything they have done for me.

After receiving a diagnosis of TMJ, which inhibited me in so many ways, on so many levels... I never thought I would feel better again. Doctor after doctor... disappointment and pain ruled my life. Julietta, and Ivan truly changed my over-all health in a way that I want to shout from the roof-tops. They have helped take care of that TMJ, and many other ailments that we all experience in our lifetime. Call them now! Speak to the lovely Mary Foy, who will take care of your appointments, insurance needs and every question you may have. I LOVE THIS PLACE! But its the people, and the human connections they make, that will surprise even the biggest skeptic. You do not need to live in pain, you do not have to accept the agony... just go once, and youll see for yourself.

Julietta at Ocean Therapy is AMAZING!! Sometimes you are having a problem in your foot and its actually that your neck or hips are out of alignment or something else in your body is not working properly. I was having terrible pain in my feet from plantar fascitis and I saw several podiatrists who just wanted me to get steroid shots in my feet to help the pain. But shots are just temporary and I was not too thrilled about steroid shots anyway. Julietta did a thorough evaluation of my issues and I was able to walk pain free in just a few visits. If there is some type of movement in your life that you are not doing because of pain in your body.....Julietta can help!! Call her NOW. Shes really awesome.

After being in a car accident a co-worker recommend I come visit this place to seek therapy for my pain. The pain I was feeling was only getting worse and the course of treatment I was receiving wasnt solving my pain. I had my initial consultation with Julietta. She was great! Very knowledgeable and understanding. After running several tests was able to determined a suggested course of therapy to fit my situation. I had the pleasure of having Ivan as my therapist during the course of my treatment. He was professional and able to make me feel comfortable. They are more than just therapist they have become friends. I highly recommend them!
