I work for Quest Diagnostics and as an employee receiving a voluntary hep b vaccine I was told I can go to ANY CONCENTRA location to receive the vaccine. I called this location yesterday afternoon (3/17/17) to find out the hours of operation and was told they closed at 6pm but found out after the fact that they actually close at 8pm. Upon arrival (a little after 530pm) I presented my paperwork to the front desk personnel and after looking at it, I was practically refused service. I was told that I needed an authorization form to have the vaccine done as well as documentation from my company that stated I was allowed to go to THAT SPECIFIC LOCATION. I explained to the gentleman that according to our HR department we are allowed to go to ANY Concentra for this vaccine but he still denied me service saying that he needed proof that I was allowed to be serviced there by the company. I then went back to my car and retrieved other documents that I thought he may have needed but these documents were only copies of what I first presented to the gentleman. I even called my supervisor to make sure I was doing the right thing and she too explained that what I printed out from the HR email is all I needed to show the staff upon arrival. Still, the gentleman continued to explain that he needed some type of proof from the company for billing purposes in the event the company denied claim for me coming to that specific location. Because I didnt have anything that stated that he refused to service me so I said Id go to the doral location. His response was upon arrival theyll tell me the exact same thing he just did. Once in my car, I called the doral location after leaving and explained what had just happened. I was told that the information given to me was not true. I was told to just come that location and I will be taken care of. Today (3/18/17) I am here at the doral location and am being serviced without the slightest bit of a problem. The young lady I spoke to apologized for what occurred at the other location on yesterday and assured me that I had everything I needed and that the forms contained all the information required for service. This proved to be a relief as the young lady even pointed out herself that all the documentation the gentleman proclaimed he needed was indeed there. Im not sure what the issue was but I hope it is addressed and dealt with appropriately. I know there will be other employees going to this location for the same thing and I dont want this to happen to them. Especially if the location is close to their home as it was mines. I literally live less than 10min away but had to drive to doral just to be serviced.

I visited this Concentra location on Thursday, Sep. 29, 2016. I walked in with symptoms of a cold or potential flu. The nurse who dealt with me was FANNY, last name unknown. She was extremely rough and hurt my throat when she swabbed for strep throat. Anyway, she took me to a room to get a chest x-ray. I had to change with her there so I wasnt able to fully tie the gown before she came to start the x-ray. I was trying to tie the gown but she rushed me and told me to stand against the wall and she took the first picture. Then she told me to turn toward the door so she could take the second picture. The gown started to fall off and I tried to hold it in place. She looked obviously annoyed and told me not to worry about it. I tried to let it just sit in place but when she kept touching me to move me in place for the picture, it was slipping off even more! I tried again to tie the gown and she said, "Dont worry about that! You need to let me do my job and take the picture. You need to just do like this!" and she motioned for me to put my hands on my head. She was loud, rude and kept sighing and trying to force me to not tie the gown! She then proceeded to say that we are only women and that Im not allowing her to do her job, in other words. That is when I calmly told her, "I do need to do this" and I tied the dress. Then, I told her, "and you need to understand." At that point, she stopped talking and was waiting; she was staring at me and it was very uncomfortable and disgusting. I really did NOT appreciate the way she spoke to me or how she treated me. The health industry is not here to make people feel forced or violated, and thats how I felt. She was extremely disturbing and personally I dont think she should be allowed to work in this industry at all if she doesnt know how to deal with people or respect peoples wishes. I am very disappointed and disgusted by the treatment I received and will not return. I will not advise any one to go there unless there is an emergency. I personally hope something can be done about the ill treatment that these staff members give to patients. The lady in the check out would not give me her last name, saying that she "couldnt find out" which I know is total nonsense, but what can be expected when they all seem so corrupt? I hope something can be done about this. These people need more training and harsher penalties. They need to be human.

Sinceramente : yordi

Yesterday (08/04/17) I injured my foot on the job and was informed by my manager to go to one of several Concentra locations. Being that this location is closest to my job and home I came straight to this location with the promise that I would be seen right away. At 10 am I arrived in a lot of pain and signed all the required forms and gave them my forms from my job. I was told that I would be seen shortly. That was a total lie because I waited until almost 1:30 to just get called to the back. Trying to be patient I asked one of the ladies at the front why it was taking so long for me to be seen. She told me I had 1 person before me then the doctor would come. Well after several people were called in ahead of me, even people who arrived after me I was finally called in. I was really appalled at how long everything took to be done. After getting xrays on my foot the doctor said its more than likely a fractured toe that doesnt require surgery but he was gonna have the xray specialist look over my xray. But because they were taking too long, the doctor told me that I could leave and receive a call with the official diagnostic (Which I never received). They just gave me a shoe and a cane, prescribed some Tylenol and sent me on my way. Even though that was the fastest part of my experience there, I didnt get out of the building until after 3. Even as I was leaving from the back I heard a lady say to a member of staff that she (herself) hopes that she is able to forget the terrible experience she had there that day. I dont know about the other locations but if I could take away Stars for this location, I would instead of giving it 1 star
