This is the story of an old stubborn athlete, the sports he used to play, he could no longer compete. For years he tried things that would satiate his appetite, for that competitive drive that he pursued with all of his might. He was a big old boy, the body of a Clydesdale, a racehorse he was not, in finesse sports he would always fail. One day he picked up running as a way to lose weight, something that over his years of sports he learned to hate. But something funny happened as he started to run more, he really started to enjoy it, for it wasnt a bore. Faster and faster he became over time, that mountain in front of him he started to climb. He found the competitive juices that flowed through his veins, and week after week he made incredible gains. A race was the next step, the marathon, wanting to see how he would do, not knowing what to expect as this was something new. Alas a success and what a time he had, it was harder than anything he had done before, but that made him glad. Faster and faster as the training got more intense, he joined a group of runners to help sparing no expense. The group pushed each other harder each week, this was a group of former athletes, not a group for the weak. But eventually after 15 marathons, the old athletes body started to give way, runs started getting harder, times slower, much to his dismay. He pushed and pushed knowing that pain meant more gain, but the body did not give back, everything seemed to be in vein. One of the mans running buddies said, go visit my bro, he is an excellent physical therapist you know. So the athlete went to see Integrated Physical Therapy one steamy day, thinking he could not be fixed, uh-uh, no way. It was Marvin with whom he met at IPT, not knowing what to expect, the athlete explained what was going on as Marvin checked. He said, "I know what is wrong" when he finished the exam, as he drove his magical fingers into the man. Pain was the feeling, but he knew that pain meant good things, as Marvin the magician worked the hamstrings. The glute and hip are where it begins, we have to get that fixed and we will have you back on the road he said as he grins. Week after week the hard work went on, with Marvin the magicians work dead-on. He had not run for many weeks, heeding the sage advice, not listing to the pros was this athletes vice. But eventually the pain subsided and the strength returned, and the athlete asked Marvin if he could test the legs, despite the burn. The athlete went out on a hot summer morn, not knowing what to expect, if his running would be reborn. He ran down the street, as he had done many times before, thinking maybe Marvin had fixed him, that he had found the cure. One mile down the road, the athlete looked at his wrist, the numbers on the watch he dismissed. 8:27 per mile was the pace that it said, ridiculous, it must be broken or dead. The pace that he had run over the summer months before, was closer to 9:30-9:45 per mile or more. This pace was familiar, he had run much faster, but not for a long time, not since he had started to have problems and stopped that long climb. Mile two or three would be correct, as he disregarded the first, but much to his surprise the trend was not reversed. The pace was right on, how could this be, it was Marvin the magician at Integrated Physical Therapy. Hopefully the trend continues and running has not come to an end, but surely in the future the athlete will continue the trend. In times of trouble, when the body simply gives out, he will tell all those who listen, give Integrated Physical Therapy a shout out. Ronnie Bronstein

I was very happy to finally find such a caring and attentive place for my physical therapy. I tried two other places before. I had multiple injuries from an being attacked, including a fracture in my knee, herniated disc, bulging disc, hip & shoulder Bursitis and Tendinitis as well as neck injuries. I have been able to recover because of the amazing Occupational and Physical Therapy I have received at Integrated Physical Therapy. They are helpful and knowledgeable when dealing with the insurance companies and figuring out your benefits. I have worked with almost every therapist for different issues. Each therapist asks good questions and listens to what is going on for you. They work with you to come up with the right exercises to do on location and at home. What has really helped me is the body work the therapist do. They are able to help my body relax and find relief. Chris, Tracey, and Lucia have helped me to walk again and to recover from these very painful injuries. I highly recommend this location. Everyone is friendly and it is clean. They also offer other health and massage services. I highly recommend this location for help recovering from any type of injury or surgery.

IPT Miami delivers a superior level of physical therapy and truly stands in a class of its own. Craig Cohen is a master of his trade and I can personally attest to his skill, dedication, knowledge and professionalism. Three years ago I treated with Craig for a nagging shoulder tear injury which simply would not heal. After one month of therapy sessions with Craig and the staff of IPT, my shoulder was 100%. More recently, my twelve year old daughter became a patient after experiencing some gait issues which were believed to be caused by a combination of collapsed arches and extremely tight hamstrings. During his initial evaluation, Craig correctly diagnosed the problem as an issue associated with severe range of motion restrictions in my daughters hips. Now some 4-5 weeks into weekly therapy sessions with both Craig and Chris, my daughter is feeling great and walking with a significantly improved gait and posture. In sum, both my daughter and I can personally attest to the amazing results therapy provided my Craig and the entire staff at IPT Miami and would recommend them to anyone and everyone with the need for excellent physical therapy care.

Thank you Craig & staff for helping me along my wellness journey. Thank you for teaching me to look and address the bigger picture, not just focusing on fixing a body part. I had a herniated lumbar disk causing a drop for and pain. The doctors recommended surgery. 12 weeks of treatment and accountability with Craigs team made a huge difference. I have regained my freedom and mobility without surgery.

I went to an 8am appointment. My therapist was working on another patient, and he asked me to do some stretching exercises. After 40 minutes, since he was still working on the other patient, he asked another therapist to help for the last 10 minutes. They still charged me for an hour appointment. What a complete waste of time. I could have done these exercises at home.
