In my honest opinion, this place is about profit- not the patient. I started going here simply because it was closer than others and within my dental network. I cannot recall anyone by name who actually provided care during my visits but I would imagine it was mainly assistants of some kind. They do procedures that might be unnecessary to ding your insurance for everything possible that will be covered. How about being told you MUST purchase $20 mouthwash out of pocket before coming back for your deep cleaning. The atmosphere and technology needs upgraded. Different walls with different old wallpaper along with old equipment brings you back in time- but I bet the Dentists are driving brand new European cars. What really did it for me, was the sales push for an antibiotic called Arestin. I was in for planing/scaling on the right side of my mouth. Before she could finish with my cleaning, she suggested I receive this antibiotic for some deep pockets she supposedly found. This is expensive and NOT covered by insurance. I was not given an explanation to why I ABSOLUTLEY needed this Arestin. More importantly, I asked if there were other options and I was given none. You mean there is no other anitbiotic on the planet that could help? You are telling me that there is NO other option that my insurance might cover? No other antibiotic available huh? I thought this was definitely a sales tactic so I resisted the admistration of the Arestin and continued to deny it another 5 minutes after she continued to push the sale of it. I went in there for a cleaning that wouldve been under $100 or so after insurance and they expected me to pay $400 additionally out of pocket on a whim? I couldnt believe the persistence of pushing this on me during 1 visit of cleaning on 1 side of mouth. Google Arestin and you will find similar expensive sales pitches in offices. Be cautious if you go here

This place treats patients like cattle. The receiptionist is rude, and the business manager is much worse: if you ask a question, she just looks at you with complete disgust. The appointment times are NOT kept, expect to wait 30+ minutes (usually standing up, because they have only 10 -12 chairs) in the waiting room, then another 30 minutes in the dental chair. The temperature is cold, so bring a throw or light jacket. There are NO doors to between the offices where the patients are treated. I had to beg my dentist to wait for just a few minutes until the topical numbing medication had taken effect before sticking me with the novacain syringe. SHe replied that it would not get any number, but after waiting, it HAD gotten more numb. SHe was also impatient with me because I was moaning loudly. Apparently, she thought this would disturb other patients. Well, if the offices had doors, this wouldnt be an issue, would it? How dare I be scared and in pain?! This is by far the worst dental experience Ive ever had. They staff is in such a hurry to get all the patients done (because they are Seriously overbooked) that they dont explain to you what is going on. Ive been to many dentists (even military dentists!) and the entire experience at Spring Lake Dental is just awful. Rhonda Hawley

I was directed to this office by my dental insurance because it was close to my home. I was told to call a month before my insurance would be in effect because of long appt wait times. I called the first time and the receptionist asked for my name put me on hold for an extended period then came back on the line said my name was not on their list so they could not help me.... then hung up, without letting me get a word in to explain my effective date and what my insurance had said about long wait time for appts. I waited about an hour thinking maybe she was just busy and that I would get a better reaction the second call... I was so wrong, I ended up with the same receptionist who was even more rude and unwilling to let me speak. I cant comment on anything other than reception staff but if the receptionist feels it is acceptable to treat new patients that way on the phone... It makes me wonder if she would also be the type to talk about or make fun of patients in the office or misuse my patient or financial information. I called my dental insurance made a complaint about this office and changed to a different dental office.

I have been a Spring Lake Dental patient since 1999. I chose this clinic because, with the insurance I had at the time, it was the plan’s dental provider that was nearest to my office 17 miles away. In subsequent years, my insurance companies changed along with their lists of available dental providers. I had numerous opportunities to switch to a closer clinic, but I didn’t – and why should I? Dr. Bhanji and his associate, Dr. Fatima, provide excellent dental care and answer my questions in a clear and caring manner. I appreciate the can-do attitude of their office manager, Carol, too. There have been a few times when I’ve needed urgent dental care; she found a way to work me into the schedule, even on a “totally booked-up” day. I am retired now and I could switch to any number of dental clinics that are closer to my home. But I choose to stick with Spring Lake Dental, which is 60 miles round-trip from my house.

I have been going to Spring Lake Dental for a very long time. Doctors Banji and Fatima are just the greatest, sweetest docs ever, and more important very knowledgeable. Ive had need for lots of "mouth work", from crowns, to implants passing through gum disease .... Anyways, I have always received excellent service. Dr. Banji explains really well what needs to be done. He and doctor Fatima are very down to earth and say things like they are. And right they are. My mouth has improved a thousand fold. Love Carol, the receptionist. Very easy to book an appointment. They are busy, but, seriously, I have never felt rushed at any time. I am extremely happy with the care I have received all these years, and with the care i still am receiving. Kudos to the Spring Lake Dental Team !!!

I LOVE Spring Lake Dental!!! I had a bad experience with a dentist as a child, so as an adult, I avoided going to any dentist...until I had to! When I called for my 1st appointment...back in the 90s, I think...and spoke with Carol, I new that I found a Dental Office that cared! Carol, Dr. Bhanji and everyone who works at Spring Lake Dental are like family now! And like a GREAT FAMILY...theyve come to my rescue, many a time! I highly recommend that you give Carol a call and schedule an appointment and if, like me, you need Dental Implants...I can tell you honestly, "EZ PZ...I love mine"! Dr. Fatima (whom I am very fond) has just finished my crown and actually sooner than promised! We have been with Spring Lake Dental ever since they opened and with outstanding service and care. The whole staff are amazing, informative and accommodating. Carol (whom makes me laugh) helped with information early on, to manage payment conveniently and stress free. Countless cleanings for both my husband and me along with the other dental needs as they became necessary. Actually Dan & I enjoy the friendly visit and leave smiling! Very professional, warm and relaxed office atmosphere. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
