I have gone to this dentist three separate times: routine cleaning; teeth fillings; follow up due to pain after fillings. From my own personal experience, I have made the decision not to go back; however, this dentist might work for your needs. The best advice I can offer is get all the information and facts up front and take advantage of your predetermination of services (estimate of costs) before agreeing to any additional services. Here are my pros and cons. Pros: The building and the office is brand new so it’s very clean The equipment is state of the art The office staff and dentist are very friendly and professional Office will follow up with you after services and provide you with courtesy calls Cons: Some services (root canal, orthodontics) are not done on site and need to be referred out The office staff was not well versed with insurance coverage and patient responsibility so I had to have multiple conversations regarding what my obligation was versus my insurance (one of these conversations was right after my fillings and my entire mouth was numb! I can’t make this up.) Office may try and push additional services to upsell appointment. I went in for a routine cleaning and was told I needed 5 fillings and a crown (this is for someone who gets their teeth cleaned regularly every 6 months and flosses daily!). After running a predetermination of services, my responsibility (after my insurance paid) would have been over $1,000. I passed on the crown but went through with the fillings at the recommendation of the dentist who stated she preferred to be proactive; skipping a long story, I have had pain on the left side of my mouth for over a month because of a pre-existing deep filling that the dentist decided she needed to redo to be “proactive”. When I went back in because of the pain, I was told to wait it out for a few weeks and if the pain continued, to see another practice for a root canal. I think this was handled very poorly and more responsibility should have been taken by the dentist.

1st visit at this dentist. Tried to sell deep cleaning just came from dentist who did this 2 years prior and had check up 6 months prior that showed no deep cleaning needed. Dr. Boo seemed very irritated that I refused deep cleaning and that I questioned the necessity of it. Said deep cleaning needed every 3-5 years - I have had once in 53 years and have always had good teeth. She said she would "allow" the regular cleaning this time but would not allow it again. The hygienist spent 10 minutes cleaning my teeth. Possibly that is why all of her patients need deep cleaning every 3-5 years. Very disappointed in the attitude after questioning the necessity of services - I believe the consumer should go informed and be able to question "extra" services without consequences. Not the case at this office - very uncomfortable vibe after refusing deep cleaning. Also after refusing still tried to "sell" the deep cleaning when costs were gone over before treatment. Will not be going back. Will cancel next appointment and go to an established dentist from now on. Very frustrating that dental services are all about up-selling!

I walked in with a smile and left with a brighter one. A friend had recommended that I come in and check out this new Dental office and I will say it was such a great choice to follow through. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful with my dental needs. I was able to get x-rays, cleaning with a check up, and molds done for whitening trays within an hour time. I live in the Hunters Creek area which is about a 30 minute drive from the office, but I am willing to make this my new "Dental home". Almost forget, they do offer payment options for anyone who does NOT have Dental insurance which is a big plus for me! Thanks again Clermont Smiles Dentistry staff =)

Though I am a new patient of Dr. Vu, this is off to an AWESOME start. Having numerous issues with some previous dental work done elsewhere; Dr. Vu has some great ideas for my dental care going forward. The staff of Clermont Smiles Dentisry is welcoming and wonderful. This makes it an absolute pleasure to go to the dentist. The office is very high-tech and clean. They have the lated technology to make a crown done in 8 minutes. I would highly recommend going to this clinic if you need any dental work!

I visited Smiles Dentistry recently and I have to say, great service, great team and very clean office. I did X-rays and a cleaning, and also got a filling. They have top of the line equipment. When I got my filing, Dr. Vu told me everything she was about to do and also, to ensure I was not too nervous, counted down when numbing my gum area which help alleviate the "when is this done" thought. I recommend this office for their great service and team!

I have worked with Dr Nga Vu for more than 4 years and I have nothing but respect and admiration for her. She is extremely gifted with her hands and has the angelic touch. Besides being a brilliant doctor, she is also very down to earth and good hearted. she volunteers for her community and orphanages. I wish she can take care of my whole family and loved ones.

They will to go the extra mile and work with you. Everyone I encountered was more than pleasant, always smiling and genuinely caring. I have found my home for dental.

Excellent service! The benefits coordinator and staff were very attentive and helpful! The doctor did an excellent job and is very professional. Very unhappy with the speed cleaning I received after turning down the more expensive deep cleaning. Never experienced this kind of pressure and upselling from a Dentist. Run the other way as fast as you can!
