Wow. Interesting reviews. Id guess Jessica works there (based on her review), but the points are on target. Ive been a patient there for about 5 years or so. Dr. Zaleski is an awesome dentist, and the main reason I have stayed here. Im no stranger to dental work and have lots of steel and porcelain in my mouth to prove it. Dr. Zaleski is one of three dentists Ive seen in my life that merit really positive feedback, and Ive been to dozens. I also had a bone graft done by Dr. Froge that went well. One of the hygienists is pushy with the upsells, so I insist on getting appointments with the others. Simple. The front office has answered all of my issues. At times there have been difficult conversations, but keeping on point and not getting nasty, I get answers. You have to treat people like professionals to get professional behavior. The front office did get on my good side by helping me with a family member that was getting ripped off at another provider. This family member (disabled) depends on me to look after complicated stuff like insurance for her. I got them up to speed on her situation (some incomplete work) and they accommodated more than I expected. Fact is, Dr. Resnik runs a business here, not a charity. Jessicas remarks about insurance are 100% true. The golden days of paying your $5 deductible and forgetting about extra charges or a bill are long gone. Know what your coverage includes and ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU AGREE TO ANYTHING. If a service is offered that youre not sure about, SAY NO and do your due diligence. Look it up, people! The team here will offer you many services that arent covered by many dental plans. Insurance companies are also for-profit and dont care about your teeth. Know what your getting offered and make a value decision. Some services are out-of-pocket. If you agree, buyer beware. Not once has the office manager refused to provide a "worst case scenario" when quoting services. Its up to you to become an educated consumer.

horrible front desk staff... complete scam artists who will say your insurance will cover 100% only to get a bill 6 months later for $500+ When me and the wife first came they were exceptionally nice, until we signed the papers.... First off front desk staff has the nerve to berate their clients because they write bad reviews (which i literally got a letter in the mail for that very reason) They do not properly contact your insurance; and they do not get a correct quote from your insurance, and yes i know the quote is never 100% accurate but after being to 15 other dentists in my life, talking with MY insurance and talking with my brother (who is a dentist) i have NEVER and you should almost never get a bill in the mail saying your insurance couldnt cover "x" because this is info the dentist should tell you the moment you walk in. In FACT in our case... they should have known this because when we got deep cleanings your insurance only allows you to have a certain number done in a year and apparently the hygienist misspoke to the front desk staff that our last deep cleaning was 2 years ago.. when in actuality it was just over a year (i was literally told that BY the front desk staff); meaning that we will not be covered for the current visit... but did they relate that info to us or did they contact our insurance to find out? No.... In all we really loved the dentist and overall the hygienists did a decent job, but after dealing with the front desk staff we will not be going back.

Stay away if you dont want to be ripped off I am filing a complaint with the Georgia Dental Association and BBB. Their office performed some unnecessary cleaning work on my teeth and collected about $300 from me but was having a hard time convincing the insurance company that the work was necessary. The insurance asked for all the records and still was not convinced that the work should have been performed. I had to agree with the insurance company as I have never had any issue with my teeth, never had any cavities or any other issues, in fact prior to going to thir office, all I had ever done was a regular yearly cleaning. In total, they collected over $700 for a dental cleaning which seems outrages even if the work was needed. I consulted another dentist later who agreed with the insurance that the work was completely unnecessary. He recommended I file a complaint with the Georgia Dental Association. Also, they are very quick to send your information to the dishonest collection agencies, even when it was the insurance that was not paying due to the unnecessary work they claimed they had done....

I have not been to a denist in 7 months, so I went in for a cleaning today no problems in the past not even a cavity at the age of 30. The denist was very nice and respectful and friendly, the x ray tech was also very nice. The hygienist was beyond terrible. She pointed out a bunch of points she wanted the doctor to "check" which he did and his words were, "everything looks great". But apparently the denist was unaware that I was beyond gingivitis.... Which is funny because according to the hygienist I needed a cleaning costing over 300 dollars which I have a dental HMO, I was given this number once I was asked what I have been charged in the past. So I declined and asked for a regular cleaning which was refused from the hygienist. So apparently the hygienist knows more then the denist, this is a place to avoid. Again great denist piss poor hygienists, they billed my insurance over $500 AND DIDNT EVEN CLEAN MY TEETH. I am reporting then to the board of denistry in georgia and the better business bureau. If you go here best of luck.

I was at this office in Jan 2008 for a regular cleaning as a first time patient. When they did the diagnosis for periodontal disease, they classified me as "early periodontal" and required that I pay approx $300 for a "special cleaning" and refused to do a regular cleaning that insurance would cover. I refused and have since talked with other oral hygienists for their opinions. They confirmed that some places will commonly try to rip you off with this scheme b/c at my age (<25 years) it is very rare that a regular cleaning wouldnt be enough. As for professionalism, the oral hygenist there talks to as if you were in kindergarten. As for competence, the dentist checked my teeth, found a soft spot and greyish discoloration, and said that theyll have to drill to see what it is. Wasnt the x-ray sufficient? She said you cant tell from it. The brilliant thing is that it was an old metal filling for a cavity and that possibility didnt even cross her mind. My roommate got ripped off coming here so dont do the same.

Even one start is too much credit - all of these bad reviews are unfortunately true. I spent over an hour in this office taking x-rays and then they sat me down to try to "upsell" me for "early signs of disease" due to the test they performed. OF COURSE my gums will be sore/bleed after sticking stiff x-ray material in every different direction in my mouth for over an hour, then poking my gumline with a sharp stick! Even though I have great medical coverage, most of their fees were not covered by my insurance policy. When I refused, they called another person in there to try to convince me. When I refused again, they let me leave without so much as a basic cleaning. Never again. I didnt see these reviews until after Id had this horrible experience. These same dentists work in the Jones Bridge location too - Id steer clear of both. I will be returning to my old family doc (who knows me since before I HAD teeth), all the way down in Smyrna - at least I know I wont have this experience with them!
