This vet is the best vet in North Atlanta. I travel 10 miles just take my pets here. Its worth it because Dr. Segarras treatment plans for any situation are always just right. She never requires unnecessary tests, like some other offices I visited. And her advice is always based on the animals feelings as well as my own. The other faculty members here are all very cheerful and supportive, so I never hesitate to call with any questions. To give you an idea, last year I took my older female cat here who was sick. Dr.Segarra ran a few tests and determined that what looked like a rather severe case actually only required moderate treatment that I could administer at home. After following her instructions, my cat made a dramatic recovery. In contrast, another cat of mine who has passed away was taken to a different vet before I knew about The Village Animal Hospital. He was given many tests each time I went and I was scared to call and talk because every interaction with the other vet cost more money. I wish I could have taken that cat to here. Prior to Dr. Segarras opening of The Village Animal Hospital, she was our vet and came to know our cats quite well. Her compassionate demeanor with both the pets and pet owners is extremely calming and comforting. We were thrilled to see that she opened The Village Animal Hospital several years ago, given our long history with her. Like other patients have stated in their reviews, Dr. Segarras services are top notch and she never "over-sells" unnecessary services or supplies. She empowers her clients with information, allowing them to partner with her in the continued good health of their pets, determining what care is best given at home vs. at the clinic. Several of our cats have endured a lifetime of special needs including diabetes, hyper-thyroid, kidney failure and anxiety issues. Im grateful to say that they have all continued to live full, content, quality lives, exceeding typical life expectancies which I attribute to Dr. Segarras keen advice. She is truly knowledgeable and passionate about the care and comfort of her patients - both two legged and four-legged.

I have had several veterinarians over the years. Dr. Segarra is definitely the best I have been to. She took so much time with me and my dog(s). Got on the floor with them. Explained all the procedures in detail and is very conservative in her treatment. Dr. Segarra charges very fair prices and does not push any additional services on you. Just what your pet actually needs. I am very happy she is our veterinarian.

This is the best vet Ive been to in 20 yrs. Dr.Segarra does her best to comfort your pet and reassure them while checking them out. She takes her time and is very thorough. I really like that she only does whats necessary for my dog and has never tried to sell us anything or give uneeded shots. she is very trustworthy and my dogs and I love her!

Love this clinic because Dr. Segarra takes the time to check my dog and explain everything that is going on. She is very knowledgeable and super attentive. Staff is always very helpful.
