Barbara Meining DVM and her incredible staff are the single most AMAZING veterinary team I have ever taken my cats to. I am a practicing research Zoologist and find it VERY difficult to locate a vet that is up to my standards. Dr. Meining teaches me something every time I visit, and has saved my older kitty from two separate terrible ailments. She also has extensive knowledge of the cat and dog show circuit and provided excellent insight when I brought in my new kitten. Dr. Meining promotes practical medicine for her clients. I never feel like I am being pushed to purchase unnecessary procedures or vaccines or being pressured into buying poor-quality food. The Vet techs and office staff are so friendly. They always get my cats into a room immediately to help them have a comfortable visit. Ive been to a LOT of vet offices with really crotchety staff and these ladies are just gold. They really make you feel like family. Finding a practice like this was a true blessing for me and my cats. I would recommend them to everyone :)

Best Clinic Around!! Ive been to three clinics other than this one and the vets always made me feel like a bother and would down play questions. Here they make me feel as if I am their only client with 100% attention to me, and more importantly my pet. Highly recommend this clinic!

Ive been to a handful of animal hospitals around the Lansing area and have never been more impressed. Totally reasonable, responsive, and genuine people here. Even in the worst of times, going to their office has always been pleasant. I cant recommend them enough!

The entire staff at Red Cedar are extremely kind and caring, and never hesitate to help me with any questions or concerns I may have. All staff members are knowledgeable and it is apparent that they all love what they do. My dog Leo loves coming in as well!

I love that the staff cares about my dog as much as I do. They are always happy to see him and interact with both of us. I especially appreciated when they called when he was boarding when they noticed an issue. Excellent place for quality animal care!

Dr Meining and the staff are wonderful. I do not have an easy dog to treat, he is a 17 year old Maltese who has an attitude and can be uncooperative. They have always provided excellent care to my dog.

Really appreciate this animal hospital. Our dog is a rescue and needs some time to warm up to new people and they treat him like a king. Never worry when he is boarded or treated here.
