We called ahead before making an appointment for our dog he is a 6 lbs chihuahua we called ahead to see what the price was for him to be neutered they gave us all the expenses and said "itll be $90 flat rate" fully prepared to pay the $90 i go to pick him up and they charged us for things they asked us about but we told them we didnt need and then went ahead and charged us and it ended up being $166 so first off they told us $90 flat rate then went against our wishes and charged us with hidden fees then we get him back and he was bleeding he bled in my car on the way home we had many other options around but due to price and reviews we drive 40 minutes out of our way to take him we were also told we would be called when ready and they never called i had to call and they were like oh yeah sorry like i had been waiting for the call and they didnt inform me when to pick him up let alone if he was okay to follow that the cone they charged us for was clearly too small his nose stuck way out from the cone and then when we called explaining how he was still able to lick his wound they said oh youll have to come back and buy a new one instead of giving him the right size then they cut his nails after we had already had them cut a few days before and they are so horrible he has cut me multiple times just walking across my lap so im sorry but these reviews did not help me at all and if you need your dog neutered when calling bring up the hidden fees my poor pup will not be going back here i hope this helps.

This place has been wonderful! Weve dealt with some pretty rude vets, but the people that work here are so nice! Each time I bring Scarlett in she gets an enormous amount of loving from the staff. The most impressive moment for me was after her spay appointment. After I got her home, she was vomiting multiple times. I called MFPH minutes after they closed and left a voicemail. To my surprise, they returned my call almost immediately, even though they were technically closed. It was a very reassuring moment, especially because we were going into the weekend. The prices are a lot better than most others in the area, but the way they treat my dog and me makes it worth every trip. I love that I can call and ask questions without being treated like Im a bother (Scarletts my first furbaby aside from family pets, so I get nervous about things irrationally sometimes!). I highly recommend this place. They are kind and truly care about the animals that are in their care.

I took my cat who is about 12 years old and wanted to get her declawed because we now have a 3 month old baby and having a cat with claws made me really nervous. I went to Mason Family Pet Hospital and it was my first time ever being there and let me just tell you how impressed i was with the service!! The vet took her time explaining the risks to me about having a cat who is that old declawed and also was giving me other options to help with our situation. The vet tech was also wonderful and she also took her time answering any questions I had. From the time I walked in the door until the time I walked out it was a great experience!! Any future pets that I get I will take them there!!!!

Yesterday I had to put my beloved cat down. I had an appointment in a couple of weeks and his condition worsened and they took me in at the end of the day. Words cannot describe the comfort and compassion that this office shows their patients and owners. I have had several vets over the four years I have lived in Mason and wish I would have found this vet earlier. Although my heart is broken I felt comfortable walking out of this office knowing that they helped me care for "family member" with dignity and respect. I would highly recommend this veterinarian to anyone, both for the reasonable costs and mostly for the wonderful care and service that they offer their customers.

Wonderful staff that really listen and do their best to take care of your pet. We adopted a new kitten that developed respiratory distress, they have made an emergency appointment, examined the kitten and started treatment. After a couple of days the kitten was not responding to the prescribed treatment so they made another emergency appointment, examined him again and adjusted his meds. They did not charge for the follow up appointment and I only had to pay for the new meds. Thank you Mason Family Pet for taking such good care of my pets.

I took my dog there because the shelter we adopted her from recommended them. It is a 30 minute drive from where I lived, but the quality of their service and competitive prices were so good that I drove that distance for the first 1.5 years that we had our dog. Our primary vet was Dr. Mullaly and she is wonderful, although my dog saw all of the vets at some point and we had positive experiences with them all. The only reason we dont go there anymore is because we moved and the distance was too far. I would recommend them to anyone.

She is a horrible vet. Please do not allow this person around your pets. Took my kittens in for their first year shots and one came back with a limp. Complained about this and was told that when she struggled they had to use force to hold her down. An 8 week old kitten and they had to use force to give her a shot. This is not okay and should never have happened. So unless you want your pet, your family, injured, I would not go here ever.

I have been bringing my dogs to Mason Family Pet Hospital for 8 years now. I have moved all around the Cincinnati area, and while it gets harder and harder to get 3 dogs there for their appointments plus medicine pickup, I cannot bring myself to switch to another vet. They are so accommodating and always have the dogs best interest at heart. Bumble, Tallie and Alphie love MFPH and all they do to keep them happy and healthy!

The doctors and staff at Mason Family Pet Hospital were so kind and understanding when our dog Ricky had a terminal illness. We really appreciated the compassion that was shown to us. They even sent a sympathy card after the death of Ricky! We will continue to use them for our other dog. They have very competitive prices as well. Thank You All!

Ive been taking my cat here for over 10 years. Wonderful, caring staff that looks after pets as if they were their own. Though the facility did have some recent renovations it is still not the nicest in the area. But all that matters is the level of care your cat or dog will receive and I dont believe you will receive better anywhere else.

I take my golden retriever here. Without a doubt, Dr. Carr is the best veterinarian I have ever been to. She is very friendly, intelligent and takes a personal interest in you and your pet. I would recommend this place to anybody who has a pet and wants an excellent experience. The entire staff is wonderful.
