DO NOT GO HERE. Nothing worse than having your dog held hostage because the vet is money hungry. Dropped my dog off for a day stay. They told me they would call my regular vet and call me if my dog needed any additional immunizations. They never called. When I went to pick my dog up they charged me for a $65 influenza shot. I didnt know that they were going to give my dog a shot at all, much less a $65 shot I wouldve come and picked him up. $95 for 8 hours AND an unauthorized procedure. Ridiculous. PS In case you didnt know, vaccines are not effective immediately. They take days to kick in. It (supposedly) prevents an animal from contracting a virus. The vaccine does NOTHING if the animal is already infected. In other words, if my dog had influenza, he wouldve spread it to the kennel. IF whoever developed this vaccine chose the right influenza strains, it will be days before my dog is immune. In the meantime hes probably going to be sick is crazy and Im on my way with him to a wedding. Thanks Windward Animal Hospital and Dr. Colby for being huge jerks.

I have been going to Windward Animal Hospital for many years. I stopped going when our first beloved pet died and a few years later when we got a new dog i switched vets because the other vet was "cheaper". Unfortunately our new dog has many health issues. After 3 years of trying to bring some relief to my pets skin conditions. I decided to go back to Windward Animal Hospital just to see if they would have another suggestion on how to treat him. On my first visit the vet suggested he might have thyroid issues. something we had NEVER been told before. with in days we had our dog on thyroid medicine and with in days we saw great results. Yes, the initial bill was much more then at our other vet. But, I had to visit my other vet several times a year to try and help my dog. Now i visit the vet once a year and because he is on the right medicine i no longer consider my dog having health issues" in the long run.... Windward animal hospital is cheaper and my dog is no longer suffering. you cant put a price on that.

This entire team, both the doctors and the support staff is absolutely amazing! I knew nothing about wildlife so when a baby bird fell out of the nest right outside my home and was bleeding from a cat that got a hold of him, I called them and the attending receptionist was so knowledgeable and caring. They told me theyd be waiting for me until I arrived and sure enough, they took the fledging in free of charge and immediately cared for it along with a couple other baby birds that were also brought in that day. I was so relieved to see that this hospital knew exactly what they were doing and reassured me that everything would be okay. I hope that this review encourages more people to donate to their cause like my family and I have. They are doing Gods work! Thank you Windward Animal Hospital.

This is the worse place i had ever taken my dog, i paid for a blood test, so my dog could have a surgery for her teeth, they were supposed to called me the following day to tell me if my dog was good for surgery, but they never did it, when i called them they claim to had lose the sample and need a new one, these was 3 weeks later, i asked for my money and they never gave me anything back, i tried to talk to the Vet in charge but the front desk lady refuse to tell me when i could find the guy, overall a really bad place and very rude. if you love your pet this is not where you want it to be. Funny Bunny

He saved my bunny. I cant thank him enough. Its hard to find a vet that handles exotics like bunnies, but he handles even eild animals (for rescue groups, universities, etc.). He is amazingly compassionate, and he is a vet because he loves animals so much. Look up what he does with the House Rabbit Society locally. He donates tons of time to creatures other people walk away from. He even offers a low cost spay/neuter. He is an angel, let me tell you. And his staff is so great. Im taking my cats there now too since he was so good with my baby Rosita bunny ♡

Very disappointed; Brought my two dogs in to be groomed & the next thing I know I am being billed for over $780! Needless to say we were shocked! Even our mechanic will give us a courtesy call if the bill is possibly going to be a certain amount! We are on a fixed income but when we approached the desk clerk we were told we signed papers which gave them permission to whammy us with shots, shots, shots! The veterinarian did not seem to understand our shock!

Our family members have dealt with Windward Animal Hospital for years & years. They are loving, affordable, kind-hearted and have your pets best interest at heart. Dr. Colby also volunteers to do widllife rehabilitation out of his own pocket. I also saw an article on the amazing work he has done with rabbit rescue. Way to go!

Dr. Colby and his staff are amazing! They diagnosed cancer in our family pet. It was a difficult time and the staff helped us make what was the right decision for us & our pet. They were compassionate and patient through the entire process. I could not imagine anyone else caring for our animals.

I cant say enough about Dr. Colby and his staff. Dr Colby is smart, compassionate and very honest about what is in the best interest to your animal.I wouldnt go anywhere else for my bunny care. Dr. Colby works with the Georgia House Rabbit Society and is very generous with his time and talent.

Staff is good and the doctor might be very good, but he doesnt care about the animals; he cares about money and his precious time far more and will suggest totally unnecessary procedures and unnecessary medications to rack up that bill. Theres far better vets that arent far away.

Best care in town for bunnies! Recently brought my dog in as well for some health issues my other vet couldnt seem to figure out. Dr Colby now has her on the road to wellness! Not to mention that Heather and Jossalin (and Anita and Haylei!) are the best too. Love this office!

Amazing. I moved to NY. I miss these guys. I love this hospital and Im driving all the way from new York to get my new bird tested haha. I love these guys. 100% wouldnt recommend anyone else. I used to volunteer here and the care is exceptional.
