I originally chose Bella due to all the positive reviews on the internet and was shocked with the treatment I received while there. I purchased a NTI mouth guard in Oct. When I asked for a quote of how much insurance would cover, I was given an elusive answer- they said insurance would cover approx $120. When I paid, they charged me the full $660 up front. I asked them about insurance and I got another indirect answer (something about insurance would be billed later). November rolls around and I still had not heard anything. I contacted my dental insurance and they told us Bella still had not filed a claim. We call and the dentist argues that the type of mouth guard I got is not covered by dental insurance; rather it was covered by medical insurance. They stated they had informed me of this and werent sure why I was confused. I find this very interesting because if they had planned to file with medical, would they not ask for my medical insurance? They then stated they would try to file it as a normal mouth guard through my dental insurance and see what happens. Now its December and still have not heard anything back. We called this past week and turns out they received the check from the insurance two weeks prior. Im still not sure why I had not been contacted and have lost all trust in them at this point. They then stated this past week that they informed me that the mouth guard I purchased couldnt be covered by any insurance. They were extremely defensive and unprofessional. I was overcharged and lied to and have wasted many hours contacting them. The issue is still unresolved and due to their limited business hours (closed Dec 21-Jan 6 for break??) Im not sure when Ill hear back from them.

Very bad service would not recommend to anyone staff is very rude. Didnt refuse to pay for service but you dont tell people about the price after youre done with service. You let them know before so they can decide whether I want you to do it or not. It has a root canal still costing $1000 when you didnt even do all of the work the work you sent me to another dentist office to do some of the work and then you did to be honest dont lie.I paid them so dont say I dont want to pay my bill they told me how much I need to bring before the day of service.

Dr. Bennetts office is the best! Every dentist I had been to before was quick to judge and always talked down to me. Everyone in Dr. Bennetts office was friendly, conversational, and they all made it clear that their purpose was to help me take care of my teeth. The hygienist was excellent. She checked often to make sure I felt no discomfort and gave me a topical numbing wherever there was. They offered helpful advice without being condescending. For the first time ever, I am actually looking forward to going back for my next cleaning.

Ive been going to Dr. Bennett at Bella Dentistry for years now and it is always an enjoyable experience. Dr. Bennett and her staff are good about answering any questions I have about my mouth. They let me know ways to keep my teeth in good shape to avoid problems later. I tend to clench and grind my teeth and Dr. Bennett let me know how to keep from doing further damage to my teeth and make my jaw feel much better. Both the office and staff are very nice.

Our family finally found a family Dentist that offers an excellent dental service! We especially appreciate our dental hygienist Rachel who is very good at what she do. Dr Benett will not recommend any unnecessary dental work like other Dentist do. She is very precise with any dental work you need. My wife and my 10 year old son enjoys our visit each time. What a wonderful experience!

Bella Dentistry is a small-scale dental practice with no desire to become big, bustling or impersonal. You get individualized, careful attention and excellent care here. The dentist is thoughtful, precise and kind. Unlike some other dentists Ive been to, you never feel chastised or threatened about the state of your teeth-- you simply get excellent expertise. Highly recommended!

Always caring office staff and explains everything from procedures to insurance to what I need to have done to what the cost of everything is. All my family goes to them as well. Bella Dentistry is the absolute best. The ladies are very pleasant and they do a wonderful job. My hygienist does an awesome job cleaning my teeth and Dr. Bennett does a great job maintaining the health of my teeth and gums. Dr Bennett and her staff are great. My teeth were in very poor shape, and she devised a plan so I can have healthy teeth, and raise my confidence when I deal with other people. She truely cares about her customers. She is very kind, explains any questions which you may have. Best in Athens and surrounding areas.
