The last thing I wanted to do was give this hostpital a bad review. It (would have been) my first visit. And trust that me and my 14 year old diabetic cat were very excited and anxious to see the doctor this morning. But heres the phone call I woke up to at 8:30am -- 2 hours before my appointment... Her: Hi Ameenah...yeah, we dont have the Vetsulin in the hospital. (the insulin my cat needs for her diabetes). I know Naya has been without it for a few days-- Me: Shes been without it for two weeks. (Id been on the road for a week from LA and made the appointment at this vet a week ago) Her: Yeah, the vet is wondering if you can call your vet in LA and get them to send it to you. Me: What? Her: Yeah, can you call them. Cause we dont have it. The vet says can you call them and get them to send it to you? Me: Uh, yeah, Ill take care of it. Then I hung up. What the hell? This irresponsible, insensitive, unprofessional and dangerous response has led me to give this ridiculous organization 1 star. If I could give them no stars, I would. Who does that? Theyve known about my appointment for about a week. HERES THE IMPORTANT PART: They told me that they were going to get my pets records from our old vet. They had the name and when I offered the phone number, the girl was like, oh, Ive got it. Ill call them. Yet, she never called to get the records so that my cat could be taken care of! Today is Tuesday. Yesterday was Monday--a business day. Why didnt/couldnt they take care of this beforehand?? Let me repeat how INSENSITIVE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND DANGEROUS this organization is. If this is any indication as to how my pet would be treated at the clinic, then Im happy that she will NEVER see this vet--whom I will report to any and all veterinary boards, websites, reviews, etc. "Dr." Andrea Dunnings, this message is for you. Shame on you. Not that you care at all. You had that poor assistant make this call for you. I guess youre too busy to actually give a crap about the pets and owners you take money from. I guess youd met your quota for the day and it just didnt matter to you to bother to have bedside manner or do the job your trained to do. Im sure Im not the only one who has a complain against you. I hope Im not the only one who has said something. Youre a disgrace to your profession. Resolutely, intentionally, directly yours, ameenah kaplan

The patient care at the clinic is unbelievably amazing. I dont have anxiety about taking my dog to the vet, and he doesnt get worked up about going! As soon as we walk in, we are always greeted with a smile and everyone remembers him - even if its been a while. The entire staff at East Atlanta Animal Clinic is just incredible. They treat our dog as their own and show him the best care. Even after weve moved out of the area, we keep coming back because everyone is so wonderful. The clinic offer convenient drop off and pick up times, as well, which is nice if you work during the day and arent always able to leave to take your dog to the vet. They also offer veterinary acupuncture services, which is how we initially found this clinic. Those services are amazing and keep the symptoms from my little guys intervertebral disc disease at bay. Dr. Ringstrom is gentle, and her calming demeanor keeps my dog relaxed through the entire procedure. I truly cannot say enough positive things about the East Atlanta Animal Clinic. They are simply the best.

I have had animals my whole life, and have been to many vets. This has been my best experience by far. The clinic itself is bright and inviting, and (like a previous poster said) doesnt stink of animal waste. My cat doesnt travel well, and both times I have taken her there, she has peed in her carrier. The techs were very understanding about it and cleaned it up without another word. Everyone that I have experienced there has been very sweet to my kitty, and they even called a week after her check up to see how she was doing. The positive attitude makes all the difference. I can honestly say that this is the only positive experience that I have had with a veterinarians office.

We love the East Atlanta Animal Clinic. Weve been coming here for years, even though we moved to the other side of town. With most vets, you arent always sure if they have your best interests in mind (want to charge too much, do unnecessary tests, etc). Thats not the case here, as I completely trust the vets at East Atlanta Animal Clinic. All of the vet techs and front office employees are great. They are always polite and friendly. Our favorite veterinarian is Dr. Starnes. Shes fantastic! Shes always so nice to the dogs and you can tell she really cares (Ive even seen her at the dog park with her dogs). Cant say enough about these guys. Huge thumbs up!!

I only went here once. I waited 30 minutes past my appointment time and was about to walk, literally counted down the minutes and they just made it. Then I get walked into this cramped room and the assistant proceeds to lecture me about dog ownership, after already telling her this was not my first. Finally I see the Dr., and she too has an attitude, not the most friendly vet in my opinion. I finally leave, with a huge bill and an hour+ of time, and about 100 pamphlets about dog ownership, once again, not my first dog! I will never go back, and will never recommend.

I loved the clinic. It was nice and clean without any animal smell. The staff was so friendly and the doctor answer all my question. My yorkie was vomiting his food up; his has a sensitive stomach. She suggested another brand of food, and had it on site. Mylo is doing much better this morning. If you are looking for a vet please go here. They even provide coffee for you.

I recommend East Atlanta Animal Clinic to anyone in Atlanta with a pet. Not only are they in the cutest vet space I have ever seen, but they are incredibly caring as well. My cat, Georgie, has been through two scares in the past year and a half, but the vets at East Atlanta were able to get her back to purring in no time.

This is a great vet office the staff is very nice and helpful and Dr Dunning is willing to answer all questions and explain what procedure she thinks is best for the aniaml. You can tell they really have a passion for animals at this clinic!
