Took my outdoor cat here on the recommendation of a friend. She had a prolapsed rectum. Unfortunately, it was too severe and she had to be put to sleep--which was not a happy day. Took her in early in the morning. (The Vet seemed more concerned with discussing his political views than actually discussing the case). He said he was gonna put her under and examine the problem and would call us later. This is a feral cat and she had "messed" up the cage quite a bit as we were bringing her in. Got a call later in the afternoon to come over and was told she would have to be put to sleep. I wanted to see her one last time. We went in the exam room to say goodbye and the Vet had obviously taken her out of the cage after putting her under to examine her, but had put her back in the cage without taking 2 minutes to wash it out and she had been sitting in her own poop all day!!! She was already probably scared to death from the ride and being in the cage and we had to make the decision to have her put to sleep while her last moments were sitting in poop!!! To top that off the vet went into a long spill about rabies and how they chop off the head to examine it!!! Sad Vet, sad place!!! AN APOLOGY WOULD BE NICE!

This was by far the WORST veterinarian experience Ive ever had. I do not ever plan on using them again, and will warn others to stay far away. I took my cat in for a coughing problem. I didnt think it was anything serious, I guessed at a respiratory infection at the worst. The "vet" that was there, if you can even call this hack that, roughly grabbed my cat (whos never scratched or bitten anyone) roughly by the scruff and yanked him out of the pet carrier. He then proceeded to tell me that he assumed he had ear mights. Then, took him to the back to supposedly take his temp. He came back and coldly and immediately assumed that my cat had, Feline Leukemia simply because he had a fever. WITHOUT running any tests or even offering any treatment to lower my cats 105 fever. The next day I took Simba to Bells Ferry Animal Hospital, and they diagnosed him with a respiratory infection, just like I assumed. He was tested for Feline leukemia negative. The people who run this place are cruel and heartless jerks. Will not EVER return again.

Im a retired thoroughbred jockey and as such have worked in close association with hundreds of vets over the years. Believe me when I say; not all vets are created equal. After visiting several local vets to treat our aging dogs issues, I found Dr. Danger. His standard of care and common sense approach are exactly what we needed. He does not over charge, over medicate, or order batteries of tests which you dont need. He cuts to the chase and gives your pet quality care. His staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. Ive never had to wait more than ten minutes to be seen, even without an appointment. I highly recommend Johnson Ferry Animal Hospital.

This is a great animal hospital! When my dog of 14 years had a scare and possibly needed to be put down his vet Dr. Danger left his family vacation day at home to come straight to our dogs aid without us even asking him to do so. This is a great place to trust with your animals care!
