I have been taking my 11 year old black lab to Banfield for most of her life. She has never had any real problems until recently. She had a skin infection and a bad ear infection. After two rounds of really expensive office visits and expensive medicines, neither problem was not getting any better. We finally gave up on Banfield and brought her to Alpharetta Animal Hospital after a neighbors recommendation. During my dogs entire life I had never seen anyone treat her and care for her like they did here. The doctor spent a lot of time with her addressing her issues. He also gave us some sample medicine to try just to make her feel better overall because of her age. Almost immediately we noticed a difference in her. Her eyes looked more alive and she has much more energy. The medicine they gave us for the two main problems is working great, and the entire visit was much less expensive than Banfield. I was really impressed with how much they cared, how knowledgeable they were, and the cost. I will never take my pet anywhere else.

I am with a pet rescue group and have taken a great number of cats (and one dog) to this clinic. Every vet and vet tech have seen our animals, and I have nothing but the highest praise for all of them. Each animal has received individual attention, and all have been treated with kindness. They have are extremely competent and have saved the lives of many of our animals. Dr. Hines, who is the owner and head vet at this clinic, has become personally involved with many of these cases (many of whom have had a myriad of health issues due to abuse/neglect), and he has been more compassionate than I can say. I also have greatly appreciated the assistance and courtesy of the front desk folks (and especially Rhoda!) Often, a vet clinic tends to treat rescue group pets with a different priority than private pets, but that has never been the case with this team of caring professionals. I recommend them to all our adopters and recommend them without reservation to any pet owner.

DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL HERE! If you love your companions, please do me and yourselves a favor and look elsewhere for veterinarian care. They kept our cat for five days "caring for and monitoring him" when they knew they didnt have the capability to run the necessary tests, meanwhile our bill kept going up. Were now out $600 and the poor kitten suffered for 4 nights with no resolution in sight... When asked what tests they had done and what was actually going on, the response was that I should see a specialist (for upwards of $5000 mind you) or put the cat down. It took me asking more in depth questions to get any type of answers. Oh Im sorry, I should have just looked everything up on Google and cared for my cat at home. Absolutely terrible customer service. I was livid. Please save your money and heartache and go somewhere that cares about their customers, human and animal alike!

I have been taking my dog to another vet up the road since we moved in 2006. They were ok but truly were always in a hurry to get you out and CHARGE you for the visit each time ( recheck or not). I finally got tired of them up-selling me on different items and not addressing my dogs real issues( lab skin issues). I came to Alpharetta Animal Hospital about a year ago... with my records in tote. They do a wonderful job! They are so caring and I love the way they dont charge to recheck my dog after they try a treatment( a week after etc). My other place.. said come back and we will check to make sure she is fine.. but CHARGED you. Made you not want to go back for the recheck! Great job.. and we love Dr. D there. She is great! Takes her time and tries to make the visit affordable and asks.. and gives you options! Wow what a concept! :) Thank you. I couldnt be happier!

Ive been bringing my pups to Alpharetta Animal Hospital since we had our first dog 16 years ago. We have worked with majority of, if not all of, the veterinarians here and have been able to put every ounce of our trust in them all. In later years, with my second pup, I had primarily seen Dr. Keller who diagnosed our girl with a herniated disc in her neck, referred us to several universities and gave us all of the information we needed to get her healed, and the next 5 years of her life with us were the most blessed years we had. Nowadays we see Dr. Gholston and he is not only thorough with each of our pups, but shows them all the most genuine love. He cares for each of his patients as well as their families and we are just so, so grateful to have such amazingly gifted, intuitive and passionate veterinarians at our fingertips. A huge thank you to all of you!! ❤

We have had a wonderful experience at this vet. Their staff has gone above and beyond for us. Our Great Dane had surgery there and they did a wonderful job taking care of him and at a great price for the procedure that was done. Our dog has had to be muzzled at other vets and is usually very shy but he was so comfortable with the staff and loved them all! While I was waiting in the waiting room, I was overhearing other pet owners saying great things about this vet which was really reassuring. I had a very stressful experience of accidentally locking my dog in the car on a hot day and the staff called the fire department, waited with me, helped calm me down, and checked out my dog after. I just cant say enough good things. Every staff member I have been in contact with has been AMAZING. This will definitely be our family vet going forward. HIGHLY recommend!

Dr. Keller at Alpharetta Animal Hospital is such a kind, caring, and knowledgeable veterinarian. He has given outstanding care for the past 17 years to my cats. Just recently, my beloved cat of 17 years, Midnight passed away and Dr. Keller was there every step of the way. He tried everything in his power to heal my sweet cat and when there were no other options left, he became hospice care for my dying cat with weekly visit for fluids and meds. There are no words that can express my gratitude to him. Not only is he an amazing veterinarian but the front office staff have been providing exceptional help and kindness to every pet owner that walks through their door. Thank you Alpharetta Animal Hospital and Dr. Keller for being the only place I trust to care for my cats. ❤️

I have brought my dogs to Alpharetta Animal Hospital for the past 15 years, And in the past, have recommended them to quite a few friends. But my experience in the past 6 months has been extremely disappointing. I have waited over an hour for my very ill dog to be seen. The front office staff if uncaring and rude. The Vets rush you in and out. My dog who I originally brought in for a skin infection became increasing weak and sick. Only when I asked the Vet to check the very swollen Lymph Nodes did they do testing. I called twice today to talk to Dr Sullivan and she would not return my call. I am now a client of North Main. Dr Bishop is much more compassionate and caring and the office staff is professional and polite.
