Stay away from Dr. Cribb. My wife and I took our dog in to Dr. Cribb for his annual check up, and the Dr. said our dog had a dental cavity that we were told would cost $200 to fix. Once the procedure started, my wife and I got a call from the Vet saying it was worse than they thought, and the new cost was going to be $850, which was quite a shock, We obviously paid the money, and were given tiny pieces of teeth, but it seemed like a scam. It reminded me of dentists who drilled perfectly good teeth because they made a lot of extra money and were never doubted by their patients. After thinking about it, I then called the vet back to ask to see the x-rays, and was told over the phone that they did not have an x-ray machine. So how did they know our dog had a cavity? If a dentist cant know without an x-ray, how could a vet? Based on this experience I believe Dr. Cribb is a fraud, which is all too common when doctors and vets are working on commission. (i.e., where interest lied, honor dies).

We have been using this vet for many years with many pets and in our opinion he screwed up bad. Not only did he not admit it, he went on his personal facebook page calling my wife neurotic and telling people she was mad because she didnt want to pay our bill. Truth is he pulled 13 teeth from my 4lb, 4y.o Yorkies mouth without x-rays to determine if they indeed needed to be pulled, did not consult my wife first and sent her home with no pain meds or antibiotics. We have spent thousands of dollars with this clinic and never had a problem with our bills. We do however have a problem with someone taking advantage of their power and making decisions that do not need to be made. The standard of care has dropped considerably especially since his Office manager and behavior specialist left 3 days apart.

Being involved so closely with my animals and having previously worked for a great veterinarian elsewhere, I am delighted to have such an amazing veterinarian office so nearby. The office staff go out of their way to be helpful and pleasant. Im much more particular about my vets than I actually am about my doctors and in Dr. Cribb, Ive found someone who will listen to my point of view and who doesnt try to oversell services, but utlizes common sense and compassion when dealing with sometimes diffucult issues. Hes flexible, listens and has a great history of working in the veteriary ER with very difficult cases. Macedonia is extremely lucky to have him around.

VCC has been my dogs veterinary primary care provider since 2005. The staff have alway been professional and knowledgeable with lots and lots of TLC to offer. I love that Dr. Cribb is very knowledgeable and excellent at making the correct diagnosis the first time saving unnecessary treatments, time, and money. Dr. Cribb throughly explains your options with no BS and he gives you straightforward information that will help you make the best decisions for your pet. I highly recommend Veterinary Care Center to anyone seeking the best care possible for your pets and your pocket book.

Dr. Cribb is AMAZING...I totally trust him with all my animals. He is kind and works hard to do what is in their best interest. He takes his time with you and explains everything in detail, giving you different options when looking at a procedure. He does offer what I call "truth talk", which for some people can be tough to hear or deal with, but when it comes to treating a member of my family...I wouldnt have it any other way. As long as Dr Cribb is practicing, Ill be taking my furry family to him.

Competent, but very expensive. Doc is a somewhat odd character and yells at his staff, causing one valued employee to leave and turnover to be high. Simple procedures cost $800 there. The place is rarely busy, and often the parking lot is empty. It seems he prefers to see fewer patients and charge more. His choice. Mine is to find another vet.

Dr. Cribb and everyone in that office is great!! He was super with my dog and knew exactly what was wrong when he walked in the office. Other vets wanted test after test to find out it wasnt that serious. Super friendly staff and very easy to make an appointment.
